Cahors is traffic hell and difficult to get through it. Arrived at the Aire to find 2 of the 3 spaces occupied by cars. The adjacent car park was jam-packed.

Drove a long way to get here, only to find it occupied by Travellers.

Route misleading and difficult. It's just a large car park in the middle of town, but you can drive round and round trying to get in.

Just a place by a forest for a quick stop to have a break and empty the cassette. Water was turned off and toilets locked.

Free water was available. Unfortunately, on arrival we found a large tag- axle motorhome, with trailer attached, established sideways on, with two electric cables plugged in. The remaining part of the Aire was muddy. We went for a walk around the lovely unspoiled little town, but as it was a Monday everything was closed. The Chateau dominantes the little town and is amazing.

A good safe stopover with free electricity and water. There were 2 other motor homes and a caravan there. The adjacent public toilet was closed. There is a very nice little Sports Bar close by in the village.

we found it impossible to locate anywhere in town that sold tokens for the electricity. Don't go out on foot after dark as you won't be able to see and avoid the dog mess all over the place.

January 2023. This aire was closed, with a barrier across the entrance. Very annoying, when according to Camper Contact it's open all year round.

January 2023 This place is closed and there's a barrier across the entrance. Very annoying when it appears on Camper Contact as open all year round.

Would not recommend this place. There are permanent residents who allow their dogs and cats to foul everywhere.

Several break ins in one night. Insecure.

Free Aire. Close to a nice town. Water doesnโt work any more. You can get water at the borne at Marchรฉ U in the town. Turn right at the T junction then continue half a kilomรจtre.

Great location by the beach and restaurants. New barrier entry with code scanner. Expensive, at 9,30โฌ per 24 hours, and then you have to pay another 3โฌ in a slot machine to get water. No electricity.

Quiet overnight parking by bird centre. Hide accessible a short walk away to observe small lakes, but bird centre only open Fridays and weekends in the low season, Nov - Feb. Services worked ok, although grille over the toilet emptying was tricky to move and others had tipped their waste all over the bars.

No facilities, but good level parking while you do your washing at the very efficient launderette alongside the parking, and you can have a snack at the supermarket cafe.

As a previous reviewer found, our gps tried to take us over the river bridge then onto a no entry road. Carry on to the huge silver dome and then turn right.

GPS coordinates take you to a car park where motorhomes are not allowed.

The co ordinates are wrong. You have to stop just before the car park, which has โno parking for motorhomesโ sign. Correct gps is N 43.18.53 W8.36.30. Beautiful sea and sunset views. Little harbour with friendly bar a short walk along the coastal footpath. Loved it. All alone with the sound of the sea. No facilities, but if you arrive with water onboard itโs fine.

Easy free parking by the sports complex, where there is a bar/cafe with toilets. About 25 minutes walk to the historic centre. The cathedral of Saint James is beautiful. Lots of restaurants serving Galician specialities at very cheap prices.

Stayed overnight Saturday, we were on our own, very quiet. Funicular to the top is very quaint, 2,50โฌ return past lots of camellias in flower. Toilets in car park were open. No other facilities.

We arrived on Sunday and couldnโt find any sign of bays for mโhomes. There were about 10 others already there, randomly parked amongst cars. There was plenty of room so we parked and went over the river bridge and up the escalators to the city. By 9 oโclock the following morning the car park was full to capacity, with more cars looking for spaces. Youโd never find a space in the working week.

Very quiet at night, beautiful views, people fishing in traditional Portuguese boats. The bar/restaurant is very good value and some of the staff are fluent in English so no problems understanding the menu. Free water but no disposal facilities.

Free water and electricity = long stay campers seemingly connected up permanently, tables and chairs out.

Ideal stopover. Noise from motorway but the shopping centre and restaurants make it well worth staying. Barrier up but took a ticket and tried to pay the following day. Machine rejected card .

The last review has obviously been posted by the enthusiastic young man who touts for business for this site. The place is, in fact, an unpleasant smelly area round the back of a restaurant. The water is obtained from a hose in nearby stables and the electricity through the window of the restaurant. The town of Mijas is about 20 minutes walk along a rough potholed track. Would not go again.

Sadly this has become overwhelmed since we were here 2 years ago. This time Jan 2016 we were lucky to get the only vacant space in the big car park. The Aire was full of vans & trailers with cars taking several spaces looking set to stay long term. Some even "reserving" places with chairs, etc while they went shopping. A shame that a few selfish people deny an overnight stop to genuine tourers.

We have been here a couple of times before, and each time the dog mess problem gets worse. Every morning the dog owners open their van doors and empty their dogs anywhere and everywhere. Very unpleasant. What a shame as the location is beautiful.

You drive over a railway track to this down at heel campsite, then past seemingly abandoned caravans to park your motorhome near a lovely small beach. Unfortunately most of the other people there must have had dogs, as the state of the beach and surrounding paths was disgusting. The toilet/ shower block was dingy and smelled of drains. No wifi. No surprise that we only stayed one night.

Excellent stop en route for Spain. Entry borne very hard to read, but once inside this is a nice secure Aire by the Marina with shops and restaurants. We paid 12.20โฌ for a 2 night stop. I see other comments re. narrow spaces and nowhere to put tables out, etc.; this is not a campsite and there is within the fenced Aire a nice sandy area with trees and picnic tables.

Stayed here in December 2015. Nice level pitches with electric points and very good wifi. Paid 12โฌ for the first night and 11โฌ for extra nights. Staff very helpful and friendly. There were only 2 toilets and one shower; very clean but inadequate for the number of pitches and must be more so in the summer when site fully occupied. Hot shower is 1โฌ for 5 mins.
