Visit in May 2024. The site is characterized by its fantastic location directly on the Elbe, the pitches are very spacious and can be booked and selected online. The operators are friendly and helpful, there are many permanent campers, very quiet. Deductions for the outdated sanitary facilities, which were clean though. Supply and disposal for RVs a bit cumbersome based on the watering can and bucket principle, tip: Geesthacht pitch

Lovingly run by the very nice owner couple. The sanitary facilities were always clean, only the running time of the showers was a bit short. Water and electricity on site, very dog-friendly 😊. There is direct access to the dunes, the dike and the beach. All districts can be easily reached by bike or bus (free of charge with a tourist card). We'd love to come back!

Visit on 20.09.2019 - Ebener spacious place right in the center and on the Loire, beautiful walks and nice people. At night maybe a bit loud, as it is in the center, restaurants and bakery within walking distance. Only the power box is annoying: 1 hour (not 6 as it says) for € 2, - - basically great that there is the place. A public toilet is also available.

Visit on 29.09.2019 - Small place directly on the sea with own access secured by code, very friendly and helpful reception, free choice of place, sanitary new and clean and it was also quiet at night. The center can be reached on foot, restaurants, bakers, everything there.

Visit on 28/09/2019 (last opening day), friendly welcome, nice large flat place, with hedges delimited, great pool area, sanitary but reasonably clean, quiet at night. Beautiful walk or bike path right on the riverbank. There is a night car park, dog costs extra, gets its own shower.

Visit on 27.09.2019 - Beautiful location, but extremely narrow, the upper seats are maximum VAN suitable. A mix of club vacation and camping, you have to like, but also at night loud and a lot of traffic (cars and scooters). Sanitary was ok, pool and restaurant is in an extra area, which is completely closed to dogs.

Visited 20.09.2019 - Very friendly front desk, plumbing is simple but clean, right on the road, good for a stopover, but also very noisy. There is a night parking lot in front of the barrier.

Visited on 19.09.2019 - Beautifully laid out, in the middle of a sports center on the lake, well frequented during the day, ideal for dog walks, sanitation was ok, at night very quiet, the place was almost empty and everything was already closed.

Visit on 18.09.2019 - Very friendly welcome, a quiet, idyllic place, one stands unsorted in a meadow under tall trees, next door are horses and a donkey - France with family connection. Electricity is included, a toilet is available and my neighbors have showered, so it must be there. Everything was simple but clean! Beautiful hiking and cycling tours possible.

Visit on 17.09.2019 - beautiful location right on the lake, good hiking, well suited for dog owners. A public toilet is available at the adjacent campsite, state well. The place was well visited, but still quiet except for the alarm system of the swimming pool. Ok, for one night, for free you can not wait anymore.

Visit on 16.09.2019 - Very nice, well planned new place with generous shelves. Billing is via a prepaid card, the operation is well explained. Sanitary is new and clean. Toilet use with chip card is free, showers and electricity will be charged according to consumption at moderate prices. Supply and disposal is well spent. Overall, everything there, what you need!

Beautiful place with friendly staff, clean plumbing, free choice of location, the place in 5 minutes. Within walking distance, various restaurants available. Only the driveway is narrow, both through the village, as well as on the bypass (very steep, two underpasses, fits only one).

Very nice place with very friendly and helpful staff, sanitary is new and always clean, the pool was very nice and now in the late season little frequented. The place is well visited, you have free choice of place. The beach is only 300m away and is cleaned daily, dogs are allowed from October, but since there is a lot of space they are tolerated on leash.
