September 2021. Small, narrow places. Upper area is suitable for larger motorhomes. Within walking/cycling distance of the beautiful village. Rarely seen such a beautiful and well thought out toilet block in Spain. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Wifi reception only at the reception.

August 2021. Friendly welcome. Very quiet and the restaurant was (unfortunately) closed. No cell phone reception, but the friendly lady gave us a free login code for the excellent Wifi.

Campsite on the main road Bielsa - Lleida. August 2021 stood two nights. Beautiful surroundings. Campsite almost empty, but passers-by had to clump together on a bad field. Sanitary moderate, but clean. Employees not very friendly. Obligation to purchase electricity.

The campsite in Langres is a typical transit campsite. Mainly for Dutch people. The campsite is not closed. The toilet block is neat and sufficiently large. The manager is friendly and speaks Dutch. The campsite is beautifully situated on a hill on the edge of the old town. To get there you have to leave the highway in time and the next day it takes quite a lot of time before you are back on the toll road.

We camped for three nights at the Les Fontaines campsite in early July 2021. A modern four-star campsite. We were just able to use the ACSI rate, so we only had to pay 60 Euro. This includes electricity and Wifi, but without tourist tax. There are two modern toilet blocks that are kept very clean. The pitches are sufficiently large, also for medium-sized campers. There is a nice pool and a restaurant.

We camped overnight at camping municipal in Quillan on June 28, 2021. A well-maintained municipal campsite with a very friendly manager. There is a small swimming pool next to the campsite. The pitches are slightly slanted, but sufficiently large. Without electricity we paid € 14.10 for two people. The toilet block looks good, but could be cleaned better. There is a snack bar on site for meals.

We spent three nights at camping Gavin at the end of June 2021. The campsite is mainly populated by Spanish families who have a seasonal pitch. We were in a separate field at the back. We paid the ACSI rate of 60 Euros for 3 nights (2 persons including electricity). That is certainly not too expensive for this campsite. The toilet blocks are beautiful and well maintained. The Wi-Fi is fine. The employees are very friendly.

We spent a night at camping Pena Sola on June 24, 2021. The campsite is located in a beautiful nature reserve, but is far from civilization. The neighboring village is not much. The owner speaks Dutch and is very friendly. You can order something to eat there, but we regretted that a bit afterwards. The campsite is very simple with quite a bit of deferred maintenance. Not suitable for larger motorhomes.

The website stated that camping San Jorge in Huesca will be open on June 24, 2021, but when we were at the gate everything was closed pending renovation. It was not stated when that would take place. We did not find the motorhome that is right around the corner safe enough. That's why we drove on.

We spent another night at Lyon campsite in June 2021. The toilet block has been renovated, but that is not of much use if half is closed. A lot of work was done on a new building at the entrance. Furthermore, it is still a mediocre campsite, where almost all water taps were dismantled and the places are still chaotic. Fine for a night, but at € 25.42 for 2 people without electricity, it is a solid price.

A lot has been invested. i.a. a completely new pool complex with 3 pools, one of which has a jacuzzi and is heated in winter. New chalets have been erected for rental. Toilet blocks have been or are being renovated. They are cleaned several times a day. New places have been created on the ground floor, especially for larger campers. The grounds are characterized by beautiful trees and shrubs that are perfectly maintained.

We were here in June 2015 a few days. Excellent location in beautiful nature. Center is within walking or biking distance. The Veenmuseum is very worthwhile. Friendly manager.

We have here in June 2015 stood several days. Appingedam and Delfzijl are well worth visiting. Much commotion by the bus station, but there you have little trouble.

We have here in June 2015 stood twice. Quiet spot and within walking distance of downtown. The last night was a bit restless, because a few youngsters stood awhile beside our camper. For the rest we did not suffer from a nearby youth center.
