We also spent a night here, but luckily we arrived on time. We explored the area a bit by bike. There are also lovely hiking trails along the coast, by the way.

Nice campsite, but the camper pitches were already occupied. The shower was barely larger than in the camper, but clean and warm. A great area for those with an athletic disposition.

No fuss, just register and they'll take you to the camper site. A friendly lady who also speaks a little English. €15 for 2 people with electricity. Perfect for me.

Nice place to stand if there is still room. It was our 2nd attempt to stand here, and this time we succeeded. You can cycle behind the dike to Cuxhaven, or in the other direction but on the inside of the dike. The hill in Wingst is also a nice challenge.

We were unable to pay for a night here with a debit or credit card. Paid with coins for a few hours. After a visit to the submarine and the naval memorial museum, we left for another Camperplaats nearby. I thought it was a mockery the way it is arranged here.

We stood here in the shade for 3 days. That was useful in our case because of the heat.. As a result, we had no satellite reception, but we had a great time and were able to sit outside for a nice long evening.

It took some time to figure out how things work, but it was a nice place to be. We were here for 3 days. Fishmonger in the harbor on the other side of the tracks. Supermarket within walking distance. We thought it was an excellent base.

You are actually supposed to report to the manager across the road. The manager came to us and was very friendly, but you are supposed to call when you arrive. The manager will then tell you whether he will come to you or whether you need to go to the other side of the road.

In terms of location, the campsite is perfect for a visit to the Brocken. The pitches are paved with gravel, which gives a bit of a parking space feel. If you stand on the edge of the campsite, the view is beautiful, apart from the 100 dead pine trees.

We are here for the 2nd time and are very satisfied. The farmer nearby has stopped milking, so he no longer has to get out at 5 o'clock. So wonderfully quiet, slept well. Our first experience will probably be a thing of the past. Nice area to stand, but there are some steep parts if you go cycling.

Nice herringbone arrangement, you are not constantly looking at the neighbors Camper. Discharging gray water has now also been arranged. No shower, no toilets, but we don't need that either. You can reach the Leeuwarden city center in no time by bike. Peace and space, what more could you want....

Friendly helpful owner. We did not use the sanitary facilities, so can not say much about that. Was lively all day and evening with children playing. If you like peace and quiet, maybe look for another campsite. Fairly quiet on weekdays outside the holiday season, all facilities for Camperraar and Camper are present.

Very neat campsite, but little flat surface. We have been here for 5 nights because of engine trouble. Nice and quiet, only assigning places is a bit cumbersome. Despite the fact that we were not a member of 1 or other English camping club, we still received a nice discount. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The toilet building is still not quite ready. And there is still a lot of work being done on improvements to the pitches on the field. We had to figure out how and where to report, but were otherwise kindly received.

Very neat campsite. Well-maintained amenities, and neatly manicured grounds. Stageld including electricity, is for £ 25, - 1 of the cheaper campsites so far.

As described earlier, you can be without electricity here, which saves £5. If you are self-sufficient, I think paying extra for electricity is a bit of a shame. Reception was also cordial, but a bit unclear what the intention was with signing up. Other camping guests helped us for a while. Lots of space and a lot of water taps and electricity. Nice base to go to Cambridge and/or Ely.

As described here before, peace, space and simplicity. What more does a person need. Nice place to stand and also reception with the dish, which can sometimes be a problem on Zwarte Haan.

We were here for a layover. Were actually planning to visit the Brocken. Place to stand for Campers a bit messy setup. Not all of them were in the same direction. If you get along well with the neighbors, this is of course not a problem.

Very neat CP, only we were not very trusted. After fetching 4 watering cans of clean water, the tap was locked again just after my 4th run. It gave me a bit of the creeps.

We were also very disappointed that the farmer had to let us know at 5 o'clock that he was working. I don't think he likes Camper weird, and he doesn't really care about his neighbors' sleep. It is also a beautiful beautiful CP, only that farmer is a jerk.

If you're busy rock climbing and doing other things, this place is a nice base. We made good use of the free bus transport. As a camper we use our own facilities, so no problems with opening hours, lukewarm water, or dirty toilet facilities. The installation site is not always flat, so sometimes a challenge if you want to stand a bit flat.

We came here mainly to do the laundry. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Well helped by friendly owner. Looks a bit messy because of the different terraces. Doesn't seem very suitable for large campers to me.

It is indeed all very simple. You let yourself on the site, choose an available place. And, if necessary, takes power from a column. In fact, everything is there that a motorhome driver needs. Little background noise from the highway, but otherwise a neat CP

We were also a bit disappointed. You are indeed 2nd row with no view at all. I thought it was a bit pricey for what it offered. We will definitely not come here again.

There is some confusion regarding the 5 RV spots right on the road and the camping site. The first only has overnight places without facilities. The camper pitches on the campsite have facilities such as electricity and water.

We have been here for a weekend. Very friendly welcome with extensive information. Very neat shower and toilet. Close to Valkenburg .... beautiful area for walking and cycling.

Have been here one night, all necessary facilities for the real camper van available. We were awakened early in the morning by a freight train. Furthermore, a nice base for exploring the area.

Friendly welcome you will be well informed. Well worth considering if your going for luxury. Cycling and walking possibilities along the sea side of the dike. Nice village to stroll.

Yes what shall I say ... we are already here for the third time. I do share that comment about the fence. You are always obliged to call someone, or to report to the desk, to drive in and out. Furthermore, it is a nice place to stand.

We were here in September for one night on a very wide paved motorhome. Owner was very helpful and friendly. We did not use the sanitary facilities, but they were neat and clean after a short inspection. Railway bridge could be a problem for Campers with a long wheelbase or low ground height.

Beautiful location on the harbor. Today the wind is quiet ... so no bothering ropes in the masts of the boats. Really a special location with neat sanitary facilities and showers ... but deposit for these facilities.

Real farm campsite ... with great views .. Few places free at the gate at the moment ... almost all occupied by caravans. View is great when the weather cooperates. Plumbing is clean, but not luxurious.

A place to put some effort into it. Unfortunately we were unlucky that the weather was rainy. The last bit of road from the exit of the main road takes some getting used to. Nice view...

Is an overnight place for the transit. So some traffic noise on the main road. Shops within walking distance. You can stand as you want ... including multiple parking spaces across ... if you have a somewhat longer Camper.

Is simple place to stand on the river, near the bridge. Spout of the power plant is rustling in the background. Receiving the dish is a bit tricky with the buildings and trees and hills. Nice place to stand. We stood on the grass. 5 places paved remainder on lawn. During the day at the weekend a lot of visitors. Power was a problem if you need it. Nice cycling along the dike ...

We have also been here during the Easter weekend. Owner is a bit bound by regulations of the municipality, and therefore has to improvise. Is a good base for trips to the Keukenhof Lisse or Zandvoort and Noordwijk aan Zee. Nice bike and walking routes. Is indeed not really cheap, but we did have a nice stress-free weekend to the Keukenhof.

Little separate place to stand ... between the used campers and caravans. Is a place for a stopover. Electricity and water available, emptying toilet possible.

Nice place ... owner in the afternoon not seen, so no key for plumbing ... € 17, - for the place with electricity, I found much too much ... we have but a lot of clean water smashed ... we had still something for the money.

We have been helped nicely by probably the son of the owner ... sometimes with other comments ... a lot of money for little.

Used as an overnight spot for a boat to England. I liked it ... easy to find, not much luxury .... but great place for a stopover.

We have been there for the second time this year ... this time on the lawn behind the sanitary facilities. Did have electricity and toilet nearby. Too bad that there is no washer and dryer in the building at the camper place ... we had gratefully made use of. Very neat shower and toilet building.

Nice quiet location. Very helpful owner. Leeuwarden nearby for visiting museums or shopping center. Is a CP for the camperraar who likes peace and space and is self-sufficient. We are still thinking about creating a waste water supply.

nice quiet location near the Dokkumer Ee unfortunately no possibility for discharging waste water but that is probably still .. because the hedge is only 2 meters high is also good reception for the dish.

Nice place to stand, a bit dependent on where you are or have your satalite reception. Trees block the signal here and there quite a bit. Furthermore, a great place to stand with restaurant within walking distance.
