We gave it 4 stars for the friendly welcome, the spacious pitches, the beautiful surroundings, the price, and the delicious pizza. The sanitary facilities are very outdated but functional. The campsite was taken over in the summer of 2024 by enthusiastic, young owners who deserve a chance to make this project a success. A hidden gem with a lot of potential. Good luck!! Campsite with many regular guests (read: Dutch). Reception speaks and communicates in Dutch. The restrooms and dishwashing area are excellent, clean, and have plenty of hot water. Excellent campsite, spacious, paved pitches. Good sanitary facilities. Beautiful view if you're on the waterfront. The campsite itself is less well-maintained, but apparently they're working on it. The beach is full of geese, but unfortunately also dog litter, which is more the responsibility of the residents than the owner. We had a delicious meal at Koeck, on the campsite itself. Moeke Mooren's friendly reception. Booking via the website is easy. Price: €32.00 including dog (€2.00). Nice for cycling and walking.

A beautiful campervan site with spacious pitches, open since June 2025. Wi-Fi, sanitary facilities, swimming pool, and jacuzzi are excellent. Living room and kitchen facilities even include a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer for a small fee. Wonderfully quiet campervan site with a very friendly hostess. Comments are taken seriously and followed up. Sauna will also be available soon. A fantastic wellness center, the likes of which you rarely find. We would love to come back. Adults only as far as we're concerned👌

We were lucky that there were no activities and were only 3 others on the site. Toilet and shower available, basic but functional. However, you are requested to clean these yourself due to lack of staff. In short, we were lucky but otherwise the price/quality ratio is a bit lacking here. Camper, electricity, 2 people + dog: €24

There is nothing to complain about at the campsite itself: friendly owners, surroundings, swimming pool, sanitary facilities, great location. As far as we are concerned, too many Dutch people, too much peeking at the neighbors and too much chattering by many regular guests. Fortunately, after the 8 o'clock news it is quiet and the great enjoyment of the peace and quiet can begin. Ergo: camping 5 - camping public 2 = 3 stars for us

Lovely swimming pool, great! Place for camper: spacious Air-conditioned restaurant: clearly audible throughout the campsite. If you want to be bothered by it, you can. If not, you can ignore it. Turns off at 11pm and on again around 9am. ACSI price 23.20 (camper, 2 VW, 1 dog). Area for walking: meh, we didn't discover it, we stayed 2 nights. Reception: friendly

Nice quiet campsite 1500 m from the center of America. Very spacious pitches. Sanitary well cared for. Owner extremely friendly. ACSI/SVR/NKC discount. We hope to come back here again.

Stood on the campsite with 6 places on a small field, between the mobile homes. Some are rented out, others are private property, often shabby. On the other hand, many regular guests / mobile homes. Sanitary clean. Didn't try restaurant, didn't find it very inviting. Bread service but not on Wednesday. Supermarket not within walking distance. As far as we are concerned, this is not the campsite we are looking for and find the ACSI rate of €26.00 too high

Quiet campsite, very friendly owners, speak English and French. Sanitary in excellent order, sufficient and clean. Bread service. Supermarket/ gas station 1200 m. Swimming pool next to the campsite (to be paid separately). Wifi 1 euro per day, but also a strong connection. Cooling stream for the dog next to the campsite. The only thing that could disturb is the sound of the D944b.

Sanitary in excellent order, camper pitches (pebbles) in summary, on the campsite (grass) better. Restaurant nothing to complain about. However, the price is also firm, € 92 for 2 nights (camper, 2 adults, 1 dog) incl electricity, ortstax etc

Great place, could even choose water camper could put down. Plumbing is great, even a dog shower. Restaurant is good. The center of St Johann can be walked in 20 minutes. Everything complete. we will come back again.
