stayed here before, definitely no frills but a good stop. put a donation into the box, hopefully. it won’t get broken into, perhaps the municipality need to consider a qr code for payment or an agreement with the cafe across the road.

Facilities are very good considering the sheer number of people on site, the staff do an excellent job keeping sanitary facilities clean and the site tidy. Easy to get into the town, Tall ships race on 22/7 - 25/7, some fabulous ships to be seen.

Good place to stop, facilities clean and tidy, decent sized pitches on a choice of gravel or grass with sea views. Does get windy at the front.

A really nice place to stay with the church in front. Friendly and warm welcome from our host who shared the history of the church and area. Cost was 450NOK , this included electricity and entry into the church and museum. Sanitary facilities very clean, chemical and grey disposal available a short distance away.

very very busy & popular campsite, friendly welcome at reception, cost 440NOK for 2 people with electricity. facilities do not meet demand with quite a queue for mixed showers. it was an ok stop but wouldn’t rush back.

Small parking area for 5 Motorhomes plus spaces for tents. Showers and toilets clean and tidy, ehu and water, not sure where to dump grey and chemical waste so didn’t. Beautiful view over the fjord and a 30 minute walk down into the town, not a lot there only 2 supermarkets. We planned for 1 night and stayed for 2. Cost for 2 people, motorhome and ehu was 400NOK a night. All in all a good stop.

A good spot to visit the town for supplies. Very helpful chap at the marina who spoke good English compared to my non existent Norwegian. Usual facilities included in price of 350NOK, 2 clean but dated showers separated by a curtain, 10krone needed for hot water. you have to reverse park so no view of the water but can put chairs on the decking area. All in all a good stop 😊

quiet site with a rustic no frills feel to it. 350NOK for 2 people for 1 night, this includes ehu. warm and friendly greeting from the owner, pay in the garage. The showers (cost 20 Krone) and toilets are clean, all facilities for Motorhome are available. pretty church next to the site, unfortunately it was locked , however the grounds around were immaculate. pretty good at what it does, suited and met our needs.

get here early for a space, pay via EasyPark app 585Krone for 2 nights with ehu, water, grey and chemical disposal. decent size spaces with wooden decking. decent view over a small harbour, approx 30 min walk into the town, busy harbour with several places to stop for a coffee.

friendly and welcoming, 440NOK for one night with ehu. pitch,location and shower facilities all good, washer and dryer available at a cost. bar on site that served pizza and waffles, nearly £50 for 2 pizzas and 2 beers a tad expensive. COOP next door with good selection of produce.

quiet spot with lake view, 250krone which included ehu and water, no ability to dump grey or chemical waste, service spot down the road. restaurant was closed. all in all a good spot.

4 stars for the location and the view even in the rain. we parked facing the water and had a comfortable nights sleep. Short walk into the small town, coffee shop, bistro and general store. cost 250NOK which I thought was fair. all done on trust, envelope in box, motorhome reg and number of days you wish to stay.

I would echo others comments, would have given 5 stars if there was a grey water facility. 445Krone for 2 people.

visited June 26, friendly welcome at reception, choose your pitch and settle in. if parking facing the lake you may need a long ehu lead. facilities are clean and tidy. used Bolt to go into the old town (€6 each way)which is charming. tried a typical Lithuanian dish of potato mixed with lard and stuffed with pork - delicious. €30 for 2 people includes all services and WiFi Road noise is unavoidable but does quieten down.

june 26 - good overnight stop, option of parking on hard standing or grass, we chose grass area with ehu. facilities are basic but clean. take care when going down to the grass area, we were thankful we had a tow bar as it took the brunt of rubbing along the ground. friendly and helpful owner.

Stayed one night May 26. Small campsite attached to the Brewery, family run business and an immaculate campsite with gravel pitch areas, great facilities with clean showers and toilets, hot tub, sauna and plunge pool also available, though not used. Usual camping facilities on site. You can purchase beers from the brewery, recommend the mango flavour and the local food is delicious. very popular place and we would stay again

Ideal stop to visit Pamplona, yes there is road noise but quietens down. Services are all here and it can get full quickly. We arrived around 2pm and secured a spot. Like others have commented, there were Groups of young men hanging around the aire from the hostel behind, would suggest parking in front of the fire station and not against the grass side as we could hear them talking into the early hours. Despite that, we would use it again.

spent 2 nights here pitch at the front with fabulous view of the river and the huge barges back and forth cost €36-70 per night this included ehu that our fridge didn’t like, earlier comment about this noted also. showers are dated, 50c coin for hot water. bread available between 8-10am vending machines with some basic supplies very busy site with lots of long term vans and pitches are crammed in. excellent English spoken at reception.

fabulous camp site, spotlessly clean and tidy. walking distance to the village which has 2 pubs, both offering good food. 3 tea/coffee shops, pretty church. what makes this place special - your hosts, Tim and Linda who go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

no services, close to ferry crossing, restaurant across the road serving good food. voluntary donation can be made at the supermarket in the town. worked for us and quite a few others 😊

suited us as we wanted to visit Bergen. stayed for 2 nights, very busy, not a massive amount of space but didn’t affect us. Road noise throughout the day but quiet at night. recommend getting here early as it fills up quickly. facilities clean and card operated( bought from reception) fresh bread available daily and small shop for supplies. overall a good stop, worked for us.

fabulous place to stop, shower and toilet exceptionally clean, wonderful view. pay by iPad in wooden hut, very straightforward, donation of 2nok or 2 euro for use of shower, plenty of hot water. definitely use again

would echo the comments below, only criticism is that there is only 1 shower in each of the facilities. otherwise fab location.

Used several marina stops on our travels and find them safe and accessible. This one has electricity if you want, 300NOK with or 250NOK without. Showers, toilet and washing machines available and cost 40NOK. All monies to be put in envelope provided and posted through an honesty letterbox. Supermarket within walking distance, no complaints from us.

well set out marked bays with artificial grass on the edge which is pleasing to the eye and underfoot. view over the harbour and marina is beautiful. Chemical, waste water and fresh water all within easy access. Toilet and shower at the other end of the marina, used our own facilities. walked into the town and stumbled on Soprano restaurant, definitely recommend this place, food was good and our waitress had a brilliant of humour. A great place.

Fabulous site, pitches are big and on hardstanding looking out onto the river. We arrived at 2-30pm whilst reception was closed, we chose our pitch and paid when reception opened at 3pm. very warm welcome from the owner who spoke excellent English. Facilities are clean and tidy, ehu to the pitch, bread can be ordered at reception for the morning. only here for one night but would definitely use again.

rustic setting by a lake. friendly people, easy to check in, just scan the qr code and pay - job done. showers and toilet are clean if a little dated but acceptable for us. chemical and grey waste points and fresh water available. some occasional road noise, you hear the birds more. would stop here again.
