In principle, this is actually a nice place to stay overnight. This is because you have a beautiful view of the castle. However, I don't quite understand why they charge β¬15.00 for it. For that one toilet? Because you can empty grey water? Or for the trash cans? It is also very dusty there. And certainly when guys in their flashy cars fly over until late. We would rather not come back a second time. Especially when I compare it to other places for β¬15.00.

What a little gem next to the Romantic Road!! An incredibly hospitable and friendly family. You practically have a private bathroom. Only 3 pitches and you can stay as long as you like. We stayed (out of necessity) 6 nights due to a breakdown with the camper. The son of the house immediately called a friendly mechanic, and he came that same evening. This campsite is definitely on our list of favorites.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Despite the crowds, it was still quiet. Nice pitches, although it does take some work to level the camper. We got a larger pitch because we had a trailer. We had to pay an extra β¬10 for it though!?! And it's not cheap to begin with. We paid β¬92.60 for 2 nights, 2 people, electricity, and our dog. Very few water points. But the sanitary facilities are top-notch! So actually okay, but expensive!

Very nice, quiet location. Very friendly lady whom you have to call when you arrive. That's why 3 stars. But in terms of price/quality, this is very expensive. We paid β¬73.84 for 2 nights with electricity and a dog. Very basic and outdated sanitary facilities. The permanent campers race across the grounds on bikes and mopeds. That's why not more stars. It's a pity, because with some modernization it would certainly be highly recommended.

We would love to give more stars. Especially for the location right by the water, the modern sanitary facilities, and the good bread roll service. However, what disappointed us was the fact that we had to clean up four bags of goose droppings before we could even get to our pitch. When you get up in the morning, itβs the same old story. And when it rains, the entire site is littered with brown goose manure.

Very pleasant motorhome site. Very comprehensive, friendly, and informative welcome. With our trailer, we were given a spot normally intended for two motorhomes one behind the other, for the price of a standard pitch. Convenient bread service with a wide selection. The wall with fresh herbs is also a nice touch. The many passing trains are somewhat disruptive, though. It is a pity there are no showers, otherwise it would definitely be 5 stars. Still highly recommended!

Stayed here for 1 night while passing through. Wonderful spot. Friendly lady who gives you a warm welcome. No formalities and cash only. Few amenities, but a lovely place to stay. Had a super tasty meal, but you do have to take what's on the menu. No problem for us, we will definitely be back.

Very good campervan site with very hygienic sanitary facilities. It does get very busy in good weather, so it is best to reserve. Which, by the way, is very easy to do. Close to the beach and the dike. Supermarkets within walking distance. We paid β¬29.00/night for 2 people and our dog. For that price, you get 10 kWh of electricity/night included, which was more than enough for us. We will definitely be back. Dieter's Eatery is highly recommended and within walking distance.

Huge pitches on thick, grassy carpets. Beautiful and clean restrooms. Friendly welcome. If you appreciate peace and quiet, this is the place to be! Restaurants and a supermarket are 2 km away. The Wi-Fi isn't always great. You can only empty your cassette. You can't flush your wastewater or toilet without a cassette. Otherwise, a fantastic location for a few days of relaxation!

2 stars for the children's facilities. However, the entire area looks untidy and not very tidy. Everything is there, but for that price, we think it could be a bit nicer and better maintained. The limited sanitary facilities, the swimming pools, and the snack bar could also be a lot more hygienic. Most of the facilities are run by student workers, which results in a lot of arbitrariness. One day it's one thing, the next it's another. We won't be back.

A beautiful, large campsite. Daisy and her team welcome you like royalty. Everything is there, from excellent sanitary facilities, a lovely heated pool, a small shop, and freshly baked bread rolls every day. A wonderful place to escape with the children or grandchildren. The restaurant with its terrace is also highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

Price/quality this is a topper! Nice big cp where you can freely choose where you stand. Register via machine and all facilities to pay via top-up card. System works very well and clearly. What can be a bit annoying is that the sanitary facilities and showers are limited open from 8:00 to 20:00. The baker who comes by every morning is twice as expensive as his own bakery in the village. 3 minutes by bike and you are there.

We stayed 4 nights at the campsite. Very friendly reception. Very nice big places for which 3 stars. For the substandard sanitary facilities however not a single star. One building with a few toilets. One building with a few shabby toilets and 3 showers with a coin machine that is outside the showers?! And one building at the camper place with 3 toilets and 2 showers with euro coins. For so many places!!! Oh dear in the high season!!!

Totally agree with previous review. We also stayed at Spronsen and paid β¬194.00 for 4 nights. That is indeed too much for what you get. It is actually a bungalow park with a few separate places. Sanitary facilities could indeed use a major overhaul. All facilities are there but it all looks dated. A super friendly lady at the reception. We give her the third star.

We had made a reservation to stay overnight at this campsite. However, a few days before arrival we had to cancel due to an acute medical problem. Despite the fact that we were not entitled to a refund and we had not asked for it, our money was immediately and spontaneously refunded. A nice gesture from the owner. We will not forget this, we will definitely go there again!

Anyone who doesn't give 5 stars here should find another hobby. What a TOPPER! In all areas. Grts, Fam. DuchΓͺne

What a wonderful place this is! A textbook example of a CP. You stand on shells which has the advantage that you are always dry and never mud or sand, next to a strip of perfect grass with a view. Top sanitary facilities with spacious showers. Everything in excellent condition, well maintained, quietly situated (although very occasionally a jet fighter taking off) on the edge of Leeuwarden. We wanted to stay 2 nights but it became 4. We will definitely come back!

Nice place to stay. Very friendly reception. We got one of the largest places. Next to a busy runway that you are not bothered by. Every now and then a large plane flies over because it is close to Schiphol. Lots of play facilities for children. The many facilities are fine. Half an hour from Leiden. Busy city with many shops. Still a mini campsite to come back to!

Have been here several times. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed this top location. A bit of a shame that the locations next to the Maas suffered from a very wet season. The grass has made way for sand in places next to the campers. Which is a bit difficult to get into the camper. Unfortunately, restaurant Boei 35 is closed indefinitely. For the rest, completely satisfied. We will be back!
