Our regular first stop in Spain. Safe, clean, just off the motorway and very helpful lady manager. Edge of large shopping mall. Norrauto next door for batteries bulbs etc! Perfect overnight stop.
Sitecode: 47959
A favorite stop. Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff, lovely situation (view of castle!) and close to old Town with lots of good reasonably priced restaurants. Reasonably large pitches (can put awning out) some with water. Aldi supermarket next door.
Sitecode: 75269
Spacious Aire with good-size pitches, quiet, calm, easy access for our 7.5m camper but limited amount of shade - we visited during the 2022 heatwave! Poor entrance marking, it is the inconspicuous one just before the turning to the municipal camping, easily overshot. Close to small village and pretty port de plaisance with two restaurants but nothing else to keep you longer than a couple of nights. Five minute bike ride to vast Super-U

A bit untidy and old fashioned but wonderful river bank location with pleasant riverside walk to historic town. Pitches easy access, reception friendly and helpful. Arrived on the first day of opening so very quiet! New grey disposal is easier for larger vans, didn't need water but tap seemed to be right between two campers. Surface is fine alluvial soil, fine during our visit but previous reviews have a point. Will return despite a few niggles.

Large slightly sloping car park behind the Salle des Fetes. New recycling bins in lower corner are quite busy and the area is a short-cut for commuting traffic. Park near the top to minimise. Close to interesting town, but not the best of the Bastide towns. Construction vehicles using the car park to meet during our stay. Grey and black dump and water all free near top of parking
Sitecode: 1134
Simple, quiet air close to fascinating Bastide town, all facilities free
Sitecode: 52425
Quiet, well kept site with very easy access along canal or river to pleasant lively historic town and walks/cycle anong canal path. Small Intermarché supermarket in market square. Large, easy accessible pitches (even when 'doubled up' when busy) with electricity, grey/black disposal and water included in 9.50€ daily price, reduced for longer stays. River Tarn outside front gate and the canal outside the rear gate - perfect! Highly recommended.

Large aire conveniently placed from the A9 for transit. Rather unkempt with weeds/puddles and had to try three power points to find a working one. Good-size pitches with easy access, overlooking marinas and close to beach and cafés (all closed on a wet windy March day! ). This is NOT a Camping Car Park, Passe'Etapes site, entry and payment is by multi-lingual but fiddly machine taking card only. Useful stop-over and probably great in the summer
Sitecode: 54843
First class site with modern, clean facilities, excellent on-site restaurant/bar, friendly helpful staff, good size pitches and easy access for quite large motorhome. Right on the seafront, walk to the Delta nature reserve outside the gate, pleasant walk or cycle along promenade to the town with restaurants and harbour. Handy Spar supermarket just off the prom by the harbour. Recommended and would like to return

Can't under stand the good reviews. Place looks like a derelict building site, the hard standing looks like the foundations of demolished buildings and it's way out of a very average town. Arrived, looked and left. You have to be desperate to save 20 euros to stay here and not the excellent campsite just 3km away
Sitecode: 73968
Peaceful, well kept site with good-size pitches, good restaurant with Vegan choice, small Bio shop with local produce and friendly staff. Quite isolated so no shops etc nearby but surrounded by lovely, open walking/biking countryside. Access road is narrow, follow signs NOT satnav to avoid visiting neighbour! One-way system for exit (heavy rain had made it difficult so returned the 'in' way without problems). Very restful and would visit again.

Second visit. Modern site with large pitches, tarmac access roads and no low trees. Electricity, water and grey waste on each pitch. Modern facilities include a dog shower. One of the easiest sites to access with our 7. 5m that we've experienced. Good restaurant, friendly reception. Old Town interesting and worth a visit. Some occasional noise from recycling centre on closest pitches but not a problem for us. Recommended and will return.

Just one night in transit and used our own facilities but thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Great views over the (rather empty) reservoir and quick access through the gate to walks around the reservoir. Small site so recommend phoning ahead with dimensions as not all pitches would have accommodated our 7.5m length. Two restaurants at the entrance, the slope and width of the entrance isn't as bad as reported and was no problem for us whatsoever

Stunning situation with mountain views and lake glimpses. Great restaurant (weekends only in winter?). Site is quite sloping in two directions so it can be difficult to get level from some positions and the hole-in-the-ground disposal is a bit 'creative' but works! Interesting small town of Periana is about 2km away horizontally, and a fair bit vertically, and has small supermarket and cafés. But the views, the views...! Well worth the money!

Basic but ideal for visit to town. Large, fenced, well lit, gravelled area with easily accessed facilities (which are only available mornings and evenings when attendant is there). Road to the left on entering can be noisy, light sleepers should park on the right! Easy walk/cycle along nearby prom to the unmissable old town - full of history, life and character. It will inevitably be windy, it's not the kite and windsurfing centre for no reason!
Sitecode: 62207
Not scenic but excellent central parking for lovely town. No services but apparently the Repsol station on the A7 exit has them (not confirmed personally). Expensive short term parking at 1.80€ per hour but capped at €12 so perfect for 24hr stay. Most vans gather to the right just inside the entrance, seems to be the quietest corner. Peaceful night with no worries, will use again.

Next to the beach. Access track looks uninviting but is fine. Several small beach bars nearby, small supermarket and other shops and restaurants 10 minutes walk away in Almayate. Mercadona in Torre del Mar 4km level bike ride, seafront and bars /restaurants 5 minutes further. Limited electricity (can't use washer and dryer at the same time!) and poor WiFi only drawbacks.
Sitecode: 89530
This is Parque Tejo, a community funded campsite on the South of the bridge over the Tagos. Lovely site with views over the river and a riverside cafe not far away. Small mini-markets and excellent bakers 5 minutes away along the adjacent N2. No noise from the road. Abrantes is about 30 minutes walk - a hard climb and not for the faint-hearted! Ladies at reception speak English and are very helpful. Inexpensive and highly recommended.

Terraced site overlooking town, some pitches slightly sloping but OK with levellers. Anywhere can look a bit dowdy in mid-December but the facilities are clean and the staff friendly. 30 minute walk to the old town and huge shopping mall with major outlets just a very short walk away. Official grey/black dump rather difficult to access and a bit grubby (long reverse either in or out) so best use facilities block day-to-day. Would return.
Sitecode: 57789
Can't fault this site, clean, quiet, good size pitches, well above average camp supermarket, nice bar and restaurant, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Gate to beach. Torre del Mar is a bus ride or longish cycle away but most of what you need is on site. Intended to stay one night but needed to leave after four otherwise would have stayed longer. Recommended and will stay again.
Sitecode: 24832
Not impressed. Rather down at heel, electric box loose on fence and with faulty earth according to fellow arrival with a tester. Busy road directly outside and looks like longish walk to beach - not good for dog owners. Photo is rather flattering. Intended to stay for a few nights but paid for services (€3) and moved to nearby campsite. More expensive but worth it.
Sitecode: 73766
Very peaceful Aire outside the campsite with pleasant walk/cycle to the old end of the town (we moved up from the other Aire for that reason). Pitches are of varying length with only one or two suitable for vans of 7m plus. Very clean and reception friendly. For some reason all seven vans there during our stay were herded into one section - we think there's extension work planned.
Sitecode: 62980
Hard to fault the Aire, clean, tidy, good WiFi, easy service facilities, understandable entry/pay system, dog walking area, jet wash, easy for larger vans - all good. Some road noise. Our only criticism is that it's the 'wrong' end of town with quite a walk through busy modern streets to the old town. We moved to the new Aire outside the Camping, despite its difficulties for larger vans.
Sitecode: 48380
Really tight for larger vans - didn't even attempt to get in with our 7.4m À Class as it looked as though it would hardly fit in the access roads let alone reverse into the only vacant pitches. Didn't look too appealing on the walk round very crowded and all pitches very dark. Positives are position very convenient to town, beach and cafés
Sitecode: 30084
Peaceful, pleasant and recently revamped site in walking distance of fascinating walled town and three supermarkets. Clean and tidy, secure and with friendly staff on duty until nearly midnight. Pitches of varying sizes, some would be difficult for larger vans if the site was busy. Only half a dozen there in early January so no problem with 7.5m van. Great value and will return
Sitecode: 88859
Excellent new site. Easy access for large vans, good facilities and friendly and attentive staff. Large shopping centre with good supermarket a short walk away and don't miss the lovely old town à bit further on (don't cross the new bridge, carry straight on at the roundabout heading for the Roman Bridge). End of no through road so no passing traffic and occasional train of no consequence.
Sitecode: 27464
Second visit at Christmas 2019, still very happy with the site. Facilities clean, mini supermarket, van wash area and a short cycle (but longish walk) to the harbourside and old town. Plenty of space in December but best pitches taken and some sloping enough to defeat levellers. Restaurant has changed hands, food is excellent but slightly more expensive and WiFi is more patchy than before.
Sitecode: 47959
Second visit and just as good as last year! Facilities spotless, great situation facing the castle and short walk to lovely old town. Electricity and water to each pitch and room to sit out. Unfortunately the supermarket next door had closed down but unsure whether it will reopen. Recommended and will return next year.
Sitecode: 74547
Very clean and tidy site a short walk to the beaches, coves and very pretty village and harbour. If we loved it during, and in the aftermath of Storm Elsa in December '19 it must be even better in good weather! Nice hardened pitches, good restaurant and friendly staff. Can't comment on the pool - just storm force winds and unseasonal temperatures!
Sitecode: 14201
Very convenient parking just outside a lovely old town. Some parking marked for buses - presumably tour coaches - but none in December. Not marked for Camping Cars but police passed several times with no comment. Town is beautiful, especially with the Christmas lights. Only one other camper in December and very quiet overnight. No real facilities but a very worthwhile stop.
Sitecode: 45870
If only all Aires were like this! Riverside location, clean, tidy, easy access and minutes walk from a lovely old town across the pedestrian bridge next to the site. Small café just outside the site does simple breakfasts in the park which runs alongside the river - ideal for dog walking. Slight slope easily offset by levellers and a bit noisy at the top when the rubbish is emptied overnight.
Sitecode: 54901
Absolutely appalling. Tiny, sloping site in scruffy part of town, cars from factory next door blocking part of the site and obstructing access to the very grubby grey drain. Black disposal full to the brim with sewage. We had to park outside to dispose of the black. Useful only as an emergency black disposal, otherwise AVOID!

Stayed two nights in January 2019. Pleasant camp site with terraced pitches and clean modern facilities but restaurant closed during winter. Not much shade and some pitches need care if you have long overhangs. Altitude means it can be chilly overnight in winter. Walking distance of the famous and picturesque town. Don't let your satnav take you through the town and over the iconic bridge!
Sitecode: 27464
Stayed over Christmas 2018, good facilities and excellent restaurant. Busy, but plenty of space although best sunny one's taken. Plenty of shade for summer visitors but tall vans need to take care with trees. Facilties clean and well maintained. Adjacent to bird reserve and easy walk into old town. Intend to spend next Christmas there again.
Sitecode: 53037
Only four other campers in early January 2019 - plus two wild camping alongside! A bit pricey at €9.95 for very limited facilities but nice situation by small cove. Most of town shut, probably a better proposition in higher seasons. Entry barrier needs your passport number, card only, and leaves your tail out in the road - but not a problem in January 'traffic'! Very quiet but very well lit.
Sitecode: 27568
Confusing entrance (ended up going the wrong way round one-way system) and very tight for our 7.4m x 2.3m. Ended up leaving without stopping.
Sitecode: 47959
Excellent, well organised, secure site with power and water to all pitches, most have room for outside chairs etc. Usefull small supermarket next door and short walk to castle and very attractive old town. Visited end of December 2017 plenty of spaces but barrier is closed overnight. Recommended and will come again.
