Beautiful campsite. Plenty to do for children too (petting zoo, swimming pool, playground, football field). Spacious pitches at a reasonable price. Facilities are well-maintained and clean.

Beautiful campsite. Neat, clean facilities. Lots to do for children. Cozy bar/restaurant. We were there during a holiday weekend for the Spanish, so we paid top price (€68 for 2 adults and 4 children), but it is probably cheaper normally. From here, for example, GaudÃ's house is easily accessible.

Good pitches and neat facilities. Outside the summer season, it is mainly occupied by unmaintained permanent pitches (caravans with awnings and bungalows). Close to the beach and beautiful walks can be taken from the campsite.

I wonder if this one is still open. I was there today; it looked abandoned and run-down. There was even a tree lying across the road. A one-night stay at Fuentes De is possible right along the road; it is tolerated, and there are several campers parked there. The parking lot has an overnight ban at both the cable car and the large parking lot 200 meters away.

The pitches are spacious and have a nice view of the city. It does get very expensive because you have to pay separately for everything; even the toilet isn't free and costs 2.50. The staff is friendly, though. The wait time for check-in is about 20 minutes. Very popular, but everything is checked in manually. Good connection to the city (both by bus and on foot).

We were here in May 2025 with 2 adults and 4 children. Paid €200 for 3 nights for a camper place with electricity. The campsite is very (too) commercial for us, many extra activities for children that can be used for a fee. Quiet outside the season with clean facilities. Keep in mind that it is aimed at families with children, so if you want peace and quiet, this may not be the campsite for you.

Place with beautiful views over the hills, sheep fields and the lake. In the afternoon still busy with people who want to see the waterfall, but around 1900 it becomes quiet. There is a building with toilets, but they are not so clean anymore towards the end of the day, when we were there. If you do not need much and mainly come for the view and the peace, it is a nice place.

We ended up here because there are few camper places around Galway. On this campsite they charge a lot of money for everything. Staying without electricity on the grass field, €71 per night. Hot water for washing dishes costs money and for example doing a wash costs €10. It is well maintained, although a bit dated.

Beautiful view! For the places you have to drive up the mountain and take the first right, the parking places at the foot of the mountain are limited in height and prohibited for overnight stays. Walk to the beach is about 2km. There are no further facilities on the camper place, but is more than compensated by the great view.

Beautiful place with a view of the mountains and ruins. Excellent facilities in a log cabin. Toilet, kitchenette and sitting area. Quiet area.

Nice place, busy with fishermen and lobster crates. Around 2200 the toilet building, which is kept clean by the way, is closed. Until then there is regular traffic of people using the public toilet. The view over the harbour and fishing boats is nice.
