Neat camper site by a beautiful lake with many facilities at the small restaurant in the summer. Toilets and facilities for emptying waste. Plenty of trash cans available. Spacious spots for multiple campers, provided not too many locals come to swim themselves. Located 5 km from the road, but definitely worth the effort.

The campsite certainly meets all expectations, but there is now a major problem getting there. The bridge over the river is now completely closed again after a long repair. A truck with a 100-ton load is stuck on the bridge and the bridge has sustained enormous damage. A 20 km gravel detour has been set up, and trucks are now tipping over there as well due to the high and too soft verges. Check in advance when you can drive over it again!

Indeed a very good place for a quiet night. Do note, however, that the Sami museum is closed for an extended period. It is being completely demolished and the opening date of the new accommodation is still unknown.

Great spot for 2 nights to visit the old town. Close to the castle and next to the river. Drive to the bridge in the old center and immediately next to the bridge, on the side of the railway tracks, drive down along the water. At the back, under the road, is a spacious paved camper spot. Water for 1 euro (coin money) for 80 liters.

I decided to skip this camper spot after all. It was located on a busy road, right next to an industrial estate, and looked unkempt. However, there was electricity, grey water disposal, and fresh water filling. Toilet emptying was possible.

All previous reviews already give a good impression of the campsite. We would like to add one ourselves, and that is their human approach and cooperation during an emergency. Due to an emergency, we had to return to the Netherlands urgently, which left us with a dilemma regarding our camper. We received full cooperation and understanding from the owners. The camper could be stored immediately and free of charge. All our worries were taken away.

Simple camper pitch for a maximum of 6 campers; any length allowed. The pitch is basic and messy, but fine for one night. An advantage is that it is located close to shops and the town center. Water and electricity are included, and toilet and grey water can be properly disposed of. Payment, €19 per 24 hours, must be made at the payment machine at the very top near the main road/shops.
