Shame we drove all the way there on 19 October and ALL THE CAMPSITES and most of the car parks WERE CLOSED! We parked at the Port just next to Palinuro for free.

Simple, rustic, peaceful site amongst the olive trees. Came here for a night - now into our third day, and it’s going to be hard to leave. Simple site. No frills, but has all the basics. Supermarket 600m down the road, more in town 2km. Restaurant and bar 100m away. Pebbly beach en-suite.

Great campsite, exceptional hospitality. Never have I experienced such a welcoming and enthusiastic host. Beautifully positioned on riverbank (with terrace). Restaurant / bar on site (excellent value, delicious mixed meat plate + fries + salad + bread = €5!). Welcoming drink, fruit platter & cake. Loved the experience.

Beautiful spot by the river, in a forest - rustic feel and rustic basic amenities (but has them all). Be careful, we arrived after rain and the site was very muddy - almost got bogged, but the following morning, in sunshine, such a beautiful place.

Well positioned close to beautiful Bled centre (& supermarket) but...... expensive at €25 for a car park with electricity hook-up (no toilet facilities) AND noisy from early morning (next to bus parking, and truck yard. Unfortunately nowhere else to park in Bled without risking penalty ticket.

Best site by far......beautifully maintained, shady sites, clean, all necessary facilities and the warmest welcome ever. Family run site, with such a beautiful energy. Ideal base to visit Cinque Terre (train station 10 mins away, Monterosso 5 minutes by train - or walk the breathtaking 2 hour clifftop walk. Memories are made of this.

Not your conventional campervan sight (restaurant car park) but what a great experience. Light, level(ish), safe....and an amazing restaurant ‘en-suite’. Be sure to try the fresh prawns, prawn tortilla and paella. Loved it.

Very pleasant Aire. Mostly level (or ‘chock-able’). Toilet block at entrance, also water, grey and black waste discharge. Overnight for €3, electricity +€2. Outdoor gym and kids play area. 5 min walk to train, 20 min ride into Porto. We decided to stay here after reading reports of robberies at sites closer to Porto. Very safe here. Top spot.

The best parking / camping is about 300m past the services (grey/black water & water). Services hidden a bit (30 m down a track behind sports ground) but great spacious camping under trees 300m further down towards beach. Spacious. Ample parking. Great beach a further 200m walk from site.

First the good news. It’s across from the beach. The bad news. It’s just a car park. No facilities. Looks like there’s a homeless guy living in the back corner under a tarpaulin. Looks dodgy - hope no break-in while we’re at the beach. Won’t be staying the night.

Well located, quiet site, across the estuary from main Foz town (so no shops or restaurants nearby) but equally no road or town noise. Very peaceful. Kids playground on site. Pleasant views of bay. Plenty of space to park vans up to 7m. Toilets, cold water showers, water, grey and black water facilities.

Well positioned camping ground. Cost about €40 for van, 2 adults & child. Cash only. Sites are short and access roads narrow making for tight parking. Otherwise reasonable amenities, shop, bar, restaurant.

Clean, safe, near transport into Zaragoza. Outdoor gym just next to parking. Some road noise, but not too worrying.
