Contrary to the overly critical reviews I can only say that this is a great campsite. Well situated on main roads, close to the lively centre of Alvor, the beach and various amenities. An excellent large well-stocked supermarket around the corner. Facilities on the campsite are in good order. Clean good sanitary facilities, lovely showers. 2 camper service areas. Reception friendly and attentive! Go there and judge for yourself!

Lovely campsite, beautiful flat camping pitches. Very friendly welcome, top location directly at the beautiful and cozy town of Sommières. Nice pool. On the voie verte, beautiful area for cycling!

Very large site located next to Western Theme High Chapparel amusement park. Very busy. Lots of kids with clapper guns who shoot happily all day long. Find 45 euros for 1 night a bit much of a good thing in relation to what is on offer. Doubt whether Dutch children will really get excited about the amusement park if they are used to the Efteling…
