It looked like a nice campsite on the app. I tried to call, but couldn't get through. It was hard to reach due to roadworks, but I took the gamble anyway. According to the receptionist, it was full and the phone was busy all day, but she gave me a small note with the address of the camper parking at the marina in Colmar. That was very kind! We stayed there for 2 nights to visit the beautiful city of Colmar. See the review there tomorrow.

Large, tidy grounds. No reception, but after searching for a long time, we heard from the only other guests that we had to knock on the door of a (private) house on the grounds. Meanwhile, thunderstorms and a downpour were threatening. We were warmly shown around by the son of the Dutch manager. Spacious pitch with electricity, close to a water tap. Toilet block and shower available. There is a pizzeria 3 km away. The next day we paid €20 to the nice manager. Stayed one night.

Large camper site near a nice little town. Despite our late arrival and the site being full, we still managed to get a spot. Many French families with dogs around us, and chickens roaming the grounds. Friendly atmosphere. Electricity with an extension cord at the pitch. You can fill up water at a payment terminal. Nice U-supermarket in town. Only 3 minutes on an e-bike. Unfortunately, we have to continue our journey after 1 night.

Stayed briefly, because you could only get close enough to the power at the waste disposal point. There were passenger cars parked in the camper spots. There was water, but via a push button; there was no possibility to connect a hose, so I filled the camper with a watering can, which is cumbersome.

Called in advance with a request for a callback. Heard nothing and drove there on a whim. Received hospitably and directed to a spot in the backyard with electricity. We were the only guests, so plenty of privacy. The enthusiastic large dog was leashed later. Turning in with a large camper is quite manageable. Bakery in the village. Had a pleasant dinner in the Chateauroux city park in the evening. Did not leave until around 12 o'clock the next day.

We ended up here after the campsite near Troyes turned out to be full. We called ahead and understood in my best French that there was still space. With electricity. Father and son welcome you as if you were family. So warm. Help finding the right spot. Spacious and green grounds. Flat grass and trees. And the question of whether you want to make use of the fresh bread service for the next morning. As a thank you, we also bought some wine.

Nice, accessible campsite. Spacious pitches, some with electricity. Make time to visit Spontin with the castle and delicious bakery for coffee and a sandwich.
