various sports around but quiet at night. Dog walk area 5 minutes walk away. Walking routes directly from site. Toilet clean & modern, in football stand next to motorhome parking area. Showers available in sports centre.

lovely spot and very quiet at this time of year. No signs to say where you can park. Facilities quite basic. Price per night is 150DKK. Electricity is 30DKK extra. Showers are 5DKK extra. Basic charge is too high compared with other harbour sites, especially when you have to pay extra for electricity & showers.

Newish camperstop next to campsite, on the edge of ghe town. Spaces are bookable in advance via website. Less than 10 minute walk to town centre. Very helpful tourist information office in the centre.

Located next to river, but at back of little industrial estate. OK for overnight. Nice little town. Good walks. Really nice campsite nearby if you want to stay longer!

Great location near village centre, but quiet with open countryside views. Interesting village, w.c. available at village hall next to the camperstop. Close to Mervent forest.

Beautiful, peaceful spot. Part of a small auberge with bar on the edge of the village. Very friendly owner, but doesn't speak english. Bakers van calls to the village between midday & 1pm. Walking route from the site.

Nice location in forest & near beach, but close to busy main road. Site is not suitable for larger motorhomes - pitches are just spaces between trees on uneven ground.

Lovely position in forest, around 200 metres from beach. Very large car parking area nearby, set amongst trees, so will be very busy in summer. In March however, is very quiet. Local facilities include restaurants/cafes etc, but these are not open at this time of year.

Surprisingly nice spot near to La Rochelle. Cycle route into the village. Close to beach - but dogs not allowed. Free when we visited in March, but fee collected in morning when in season.

Beautiful location, nicely laid out camperstop. Good amenities in village, including baker & cheese from dairy next door. Money collected around 7pm, although noticeboard says 10am

Visited in March, so lovely and quiet. Very close to beach and good cycle routes. However, large car park & opposite large campsite, so would be very busy in season. Various shops, restaurants etc 200m away.

Nothing to say this is a camperstop, but no problems staying. No facilities, but fine if that's what you're expecting. Beautiful location. Really good riverside walks. Delightful village.

Facilities a bit run down, especially for an expensive site. Good cycle route nearby, but quite a trek to the nearest food shops.

No more than a car park & full even in March. Close to local shops and good cycle routes& footpaths into forest and to the beach. OK for an overnight stop for free.

Quiet spot in March. Not as busy as all the coastal camperstops. Space to walk the dog. Village about 10 mins walk.

Lovely spot in Mervent forest. 5 minutes walk to shops in village, including good little mini market. Lovely way-marked walk (although gps advisable!) into forest - map in village centre. Camperstop in quiet location at edge of village.

Very nice spot, close to river and to town centre. Good cycle routes into the marais. Only one camper service area, so may get queues when site is busy!

Lovely spot near lake with good walks around. Toilets available, but not the best. Free electricity in low season.
