If you want to visit Cochem for 2-3 days, this is a good base. Don't have high expectations and you'll have a great time. Friendly atmosphere, outdated sanitary facilities but clean, a small terrace, breakfast service. You just need a bit of luck finding a spot. Bring earplugs for the road and everything will be fine, especially since it's only a 1 km walk to the center 👍🏼
