The campsite was okay with good sanitary facilities. There was a small restaurant where you could grab a bite to eat. Furthermore, all facilities were available. However, it was unclear where everything was located. The manager is a somewhat surly man who doesn't seem to enjoy his work much. He had an argument with his wife in our presence upon our arrival. He was also rude in giving answers. Apart from that, our stay was fine.

In August, we paid €35 per night, including electricity. There was still plenty of space and you could choose your own spot. You do have to pay €0.50 for every 2 minutes for the shower (50-cent coins needed for the machine). The part of the campsite to the right of the road, as you drive up, looks quite good. But the section on the left, where the restaurant is located, looked very run-down. At the reception (3 people), they had never heard of the NKC.

We drove there specifically on 12-08-2026, but there was no one. A closed gate at a house with a shed in the middle of a residential area. Only a very small Park4night sign on the gate, but otherwise no mention of a camper site. It is really incorrectly listed as a camper site.

By the way, the cheapest rate is currently (August 2026) €19. We opted for a slightly quieter spot by the lake for €25. However, right in front of our spot there are tall reeds and a large tree. We can see the lake when we park 😬 We are only staying here for 1 day anyway, so new opportunities tomorrow. Fine spot for 1 night (for us, anyway).

Large campsite with, if you arrive early, nice spots by the little river. However, the price is €10 per night, so not €7. And no electricity. Just cross the little bridge and you are at the Facteur Cheval museum. Well worth a visit. Just Google it on the internet.

The information stated that this CP was open until October 31st. However, when we arrived on October 17th, we were told they were closed and had to find another CP. It's a shame the information isn't up to date.
