How beautiful a campsite can be..... and this one certainly is. Picking a spot and then enjoying a beautiful view over the fields. Top-notch toilet block, bike storage, and everything else that goes with it. The owner deserves a pat on the back from us; it's fantastic. ps. close to Nordhorn.

We came to the Camperplaats because of the good reviews and parked near the emptying point. Beautiful view over the fields. But… then you also see what goes wrong with the fellow camper owners. The cleaner's tap and hose hang too close to the emptying point, so I have already pointed out to two people that they shouldn't use it for their toilet. The instruction was quite clear, but oh well!! Minor drawback: the grass was way too long, otherwise a fine campsite.

We went to stand at the back of the yard and the owner said it was closed; the sink even had its tap off, and everything else was closed. Not recommended.

It takes a bit of searching to find the campsite, but we eventually found it. The owner has put up a new toilet block and it looks perfect. We received a nice welcome and you find peace and quiet there. Great spot.

Just ring the bell at the gate and the owners are there. But then you really have something special: a great place with everything you could wish for.

We had picked out a spot at a camper site 4 km back, but it was full. The harbor master called them and we were able to stay there. Once at the site, we went to pay in the restaurant and had to pay €33.00 in cash, which does not match the price on the app. According to the old boss, that is incorrect and this is the current price. (It would be better to adjust it.)

It was September 13th and we had to call reception, which was no problem. The spaces we were in were large. I briefly used the toilet and shower and was shocked by the fact that maintenance had been delayed for a long time. We left again.

It took some searching but I found it anyway. There was a van with a caravan and the barrier was closed. Now the caravan resident was kind enough to open the barrier and she gave some text and explanation about the campsite. Fifteen minutes later the owners arrived and very kindly registered us. neat places under the trees.
