A good and well maintained spot with great facilities. I wouldn’t say it is too quiet though, although there is little road noise, you can hear the trains as they go past and certainly the planes (they stop around 2300 and start around 0600) so if you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs to block the sound out.

Absolutely beautiful location, lovely and quiet. It has all the facilities you need and the fresh eggs in the morning was a lovely touch. It was reasonably wet when we arrived and they had a few spots coned off and only 4 available (these had hard mesh under the grass so it was not muddy at all nor were we concerned about sinking in). We’d definitely come back here again, lovely hosts too who popped by to check we had all we needed.

Fantastic little spot. Washing facilities were spotless, pitches were very roomy and although it was close to a road, it wasn’t disruptive. Having a shower that you could adjust the temperature on and have a traditional shower head was very handy. The eggs were a lovely touch in the morning and tasted delicious, probably one of the best Motorhome spots I’ve stayed at and well priced.

A handy stop off location and being within walking distance of a good shop was very useful. The wash facilities were good although they did smell a little, they were clean. For what it was though, it was quite expensive.

Very friendly staff, close to public transport links into the centre and spacious pitches as well. Showers although hot sprayed everywhere so you had to be careful with where you placed clothes/footwear.

Clean campsite with a very convenient bus into the centre. The new toilet block was great and only a bit of road noise from the highway but not enough to keep you awake.
