A highly recommended stopover for a night or two. It is a lovely traditional Spanish town with a castle on the hill. A Spar supermarket 500m away for essentials and a fee bars and restaurants. Free electricity is a rarity these days, so thanks to the council of Biar for that. Access to the area could be a bit awkward for large motorhomes. My only negative is that some occupants of the adjacent apartment block park their cars there! Max. 72h stay.

Stayed here in July 2025, although motorhomes can still stand here, the dedicated motorhome parking area is no longer there. The fire station has been extended where the spaces used to be! Couldn't find any service point anymore either. There are toilets, however, and it is convenient for the town centre.

Fantastic location with good quality facilities, better than most campsites in Spain. Views stunning from the hill above the site and all around. There is plenty to do here for a few days. However, you should be aware that most of the pitches are sloping in some degree. They also charge for dogs, โฌ4 per dog per day but provide no facilities for them.

Now restricted to maximum 10 hours stay! So we had lunch then walked into the old town and drove on.

Now costs โฌ11 including electricity paid for by using the app. Some noise from local youth on mopeds/scooters but didn't last too long. Otherwise, quiet at night. Toilets nearby open during the day only.

Large campsite with everything and more! But don't bother paying extra for the new motorhome specific pitches, as they are mot worth it. They allow caravans to park there, some obviously have been there a while, too! However, the new facilities block is very good, they have separate cubicles with everything together.

There is actually a better area where you turn off to go up the hill, more level by the start of a trail. Where there is also an enclosed dog area that they can run free nearby.

Excellent location for walking and cycling and close to town services. Electricity now 1 Euro for 4 hours at 16 amp. Shame no public toilets anywhere but otherwise great place to stay a few nights.

Lovely site very convenient for the town and with good, clean public toilets. Itโs a shame that after paying for parking and the tourist tax you still have to pay extra for fresh water. Also thereโs no way to rinse your toilet cassette without paying for fresh water.

Relatively quiet spot but some road noise. Slightly sloping. Public toilets available at visitor centre when open. The locks are very interesting and worth seeing. Does look like there will be some charge from next year though. No facilities.

Quiet area to park on outskirts of village, about 200m from open air swimming pool. Slightly sloping. Info boards for the area. Only real issue is the narrow approach road through the village, otherwise nice spot.

Lovely place, but shame that all the locals seemed to โhang-outโ there in the evening! Plus significant road noise. Ok for a night in transit somewhere though.

Now newly extended so more room at the end of the parking area. Road noise not a major issue for this great location. Walk to Brocken and other routes available as well as cycling trails. No facilities as such but great for a nightโs stop after walking. Toilets at info centre 50 cents charge. The 7 euro charge is essentially for 24 hours stay and you pay at machine before leaving.

Good transit stop, pleasant town and quiet at night. Several options for bread or groceries in the morning. Pitches relatively level and all the services worked ok.
Sitecode: 3863
Good location for visiting the town and getting the train to the Brocken. But the cost does NOT include fresh water and chemical toilet emptying, that is 2 euros extra!
Sitecode: 8559
Nice pleasant town to visit and good stop. But electricity is now 50 cents per kWh!

Great location peaceful and very friendly family run place. Work In progress at the moment will be even better when sanitary block finished. Steep hill on approach to site. Just a shame some people take over the communal kitchen for themselves!

Great for visiting the city, but yes it is noisy; but free! Some of the electricity sockets didnโt work when we were there. Itโs a shame the locals seem to hang out around the picnic tables of an evening though.

Great place to stay for organising boat trips on the delta. Looks like they are installing showers when we were there in the toilet block. However, the swimming pool is not included in the price!

Quiet at night and WC at Chocolate Shop 100m away. Shop well worth a visit for very reasonably priced chocolates and free tastings. We stayed two nights so we could cycle into Bratislava for the day, only 7.5 km away and mostly on cycle paths. Took about half an hour for us.

Fine for an overnight stop, no facilities as such except a WC about 500m away at the P1 car park by entrance to Gardens. Quiet at night no problems for us at all but wasnโt busy. Really a bus and car park area but nothing to suggest motorhomes forbidden. A little uneven in places! Pleasant walk along cycle/footpath to centre.

Small but pleasant campsite right by the Danube, reasonable facilities and good WiFi. Recommend walk up to Maria Taferl for fantastic views of the river and beyond; plus stunning church.
Sitecode: 48399
Excellent location for visiting the Kinderdijk area, but a little expensive. You have to pay 1 Euro for a 5 minute shower, so they are not included in the price, everything else is.

Excellent stop and pays to stop longer; the discount at the Therme is very good if you stay for more than 3 nights. The town also is nice plus the old salt works is quite interesting too with a guided tour only in German though, but a paper translation provided.
Sitecode: 8226
Machine now takes notes also. Good place to stop for a day or two. The Therme is good and reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
Sitecode: 49744
Good location right behind ferry terminal, and is a large car park. Nice town to visit for a day. Some traffic when ferry docked but not too intrusive and no trouble after dark. Fairly quiet given the location. Toilets in market square closest but small charge of 20c and there was a water fountain in the market square too, so drinking water available.

Sat Nav wanted to take us under a 2m high bridge, we couldnโt find any other way to get there so couldnโt use it. Otherwise would have been great location.

Not too far from the town and close to the waterfall. However, we were disturbed throughout the night until the early hours of the morning by youths in their cars playing loud music there, deliberately it would seem. So not worth the hassle in the end for a free night!
