Looking for a campsite “en route,” we found this gem! For us, it is a top spot because of the opportunity to enjoy walking the dog, and the presence of a terrace and a restaurant. It must be ideal here for people with children, due to the small, partly shallow lake and sandy beach that borders directly on the campsite. Sanitary facilities are simple and clean. However, there are currently few visitors.

The price-quality ratio at this campsite is very poor. The sanitary facilities are more than outdated, and shower tokens cost €1 on top of the camping rate of €50 for a camper and 2 people. Moreover, walking a dog for the first kilometer (before you reach the lake down below) is no fun along the busy road. We will certainly not be returning here.

I am at a CP for the first time with our new camper. What a beautiful place! Park-like layout, well-maintained sanitary facilities, a canteen. Unfortunately, for me, no nice walking opportunities directly from the location.

there is a new manager on this campsite. we paid €23 for a night without electricity with a dog.

this campsite now exists under the name: Camping Les Paillottes. The rate is €25 for a place, 2 pers. + electricity and use of sanitary facilities. There is now also a swimming pool on the campsite. The owner is French.

09-07-2022:Trudy Fraterman. Contrary to previous messages, the campsite is open as usual. Swimming no longer allowed. The rates have been adjusted. Sweet campsite.

this campsite has no special camper places. All pitches are for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

01-09-2019 Trudy Fraterman. An ideal motorhome. Incomprehensible that this is still free. I have been coming here for many years. It remains a top location.

Trudy Fraterman was here 28-08-2019: a great camper place without facilities, with a garbage container. Wonderfully bathed in the lake. Too hot to make a fire. During the day the sound of the road. On the other side, across the weir, there is a similar parking space.

10/07/2019 Trudy Fraterman. The motorhome has been redesigned. A large mix parking with a separate large compartment for campers. Park-like. Unfortunately, the Service Station is currently out of service

I am alone, the village is extinct. I think this is fine. Nice on grass, no Parking feeling at all.

The campsite is on a busy road, if the services are not used, I think € 17 for 1 person and 1 child of 12 years is quite pricey!

The surface is not paved, but there are two rows of tiles for three campers to stand on. The CP is sandwiched between two football fields and there is a small lake with a walking path around it. There is a supermarket in the village.

There are three signs indicating that campers are allowed to spend the night, but it is a huge mix of parking, where there are also trucks. The possibility to walk along the water is a nice side effect. A great free CP, wish there were more like that.

I spent the night here and walked wonderfully. The service facilities were closed. I stood alone and did not see or hear anyone. Trudy Fraterman 13-03-2018

There is no sign with the weight restriction on the parking lot next to it. The first night, with no problem with 2 other campers on the "wrong" terrain. The second night on the P next door.

February 11, 2017. We have fine overnight here. The free electricity came in handy for the engine block heater. We stood there with two campers.

February 13, 2017. An excellent overnight stay, even in winter. Here was the first time in July 2013. When crowded, now alone. The toilets are opened (dry toilet).

January 27, 2017. A beautiful place which is easily accessible, because the snow is cleared.

January 28th 2017. We came to stay overnight. There was no place for an RV accessible and all electrical poles were taped.

Fine, that there is written so negative. Remain the jewels for the "real" campers traveler at least quiet and tidy.
