Upon arrival in Norway, we had conveniently booked this campsite for one night. We wouldn't do that again. When we stayed there the campsite was completely full. We thought it was way too busy. The pitches are reasonably spacious but offer no privacy at all. Excellent sanitary facilities but a long walk from our place. Quite nice probably for a young family on a beach holiday, but not for us.

Lovely bushy campsite. Many different types of places. Friendly owners.

Nice motorhome in the green. No sanitary facilities, but water and drainage.

A very nice campsite in a beautiful, unique environment. There are beautiful walks and the nearby village of Marvao is well worth the climb to it. I found the campsite itself very pleasant and there was so much to look at: the big stones, the donkeys, lots of birds and of course the beautiful view. Take care of provisions because for groceries you have to cycle quite a distance. You order bread on the spot.

You go here for the fantastic view of the city. An hour's walk to the Guggenheim museum and the nice old town. Everything else fine. No shower.

Have been there for two nights. It was a good base for the hike I wanted to do. Handy that there are public toilets and indeed the restaurant. There were about five other campers and it was quiet at night. Great free place.

The campsite was open. I haven't been there but I could have. Friendly owners. You have to report in the bar downstairs. Not very attractive but very functional.

Looks like a great place with water and drainage. There are five campers this morning.

What a fantastic place! It is wonderfully quiet and you have a beautiful view of the nature reserve. You are guaranteed to see rabbits, birds of prey and hear owls in the evening. The sanitary facilities are fine, there is a supermarket and a restaurant. There is a nice circular walk of 11 kilometers.

Not very attractive but excellent motorhome with a beautiful 'hidden' swimming pool that was also open in February .. Gate was closed but I was helped by telephone and I was able to drive up. I found the village very charming. At the castle ruins at the top of the village you will find the yellow-red signposting of a walk.

What a wonderful stay I had here. It is a very quiet, relaxed place. The sanitary facilities on stilts and the outdoor shower are super I have made beautiful walks. From the village there is a Rodovaria bus to Odemira and to Odeceixe so you can walk the Rota Vincentina back to the campsite. And there is a nice circular walk.

It is a pity that the campsite is so uninviting with all those eucalyptus trees in straight rows, long, straight paths and uninhabited old caravans scattered around the campsite. Because it is also the ideal base for hiking in the area of beautiful Aljezur. Sanitary facilities are good and clean, employees are friendly and bread is available at the reception. I wasn't planning on it but stayed for four nights anyway. 14.50 for motorhome, 1 pers. and stream.

I thought it was a nice campsite. Was there three nights. Walked there: including the walk from Vila do Bispo via Sao Vincente back to the campsite (by bus to Vila do Bispo). Clean showers and toilets (with toilet paper) and bread can be ordered at the reception. There are also some other items available. My GPS sent me down a gravel road to the campsite. Better just continue on the main road.

Great campsite. Natural pitches and old but clean sanitary facilities. In January the supermarket was closed and drinks and the like were available at the reception. Bread can be ordered. The restaurant is cozy but open every evening. With ACSI is more expensive than without. I paid € 16 for 1p + camper < 6m + electricity. I walked the Fishermenstrail from Luz to Lagos (via the road back but bus 4 is also possible) and from Salema to Luz (bus 47 there).

Great motorhome to explore Silves. I had the last spot on Thursday, January 26. No toilet indeed and not one close by. You can check in and shower between 08:00 and 18:00. Very friendly caretaker. For those who enjoy walking: the walk from Silves station to Ferraguda station (near Portimao) is fantastic.

No facilities but what an interesting place: watching planes from the camper place, beach within walking distance and also restaurants and the ferry to Faro is within walking distance. There was also some youth hanging around in the evening but because of the large number of campers it felt safe.

I ended up there because everything in Tavira was full. Also on this campsite I had the last place on Saturday. The pitches are very small, it is very crowded and in a terraced house you have a better view. But it's a great base to explore the eastern south coast. All amenities are available including a great swimming pool and everything is clean and tidy. 1 person plus camper plus electricity for less than 15 euros per night.

Very friendly welcome. Excellent sanitary facilities, a bar and you can eat something simple. I didn't find the area and the village very interesting. Previous reviews echo my experience.

Was a convenient stop for me on my way through. Friendly and helpful reception. Clean toilet and handy that I could rinse the camper at the washing area. Terrible environment further, all those apartment complexes with ugly, crammed campsites and camper pitches in between. Close to the beach. But you shouldn't look back, haha. I would stop there again on my way through, but leave very quickly after sleeping

Nice location. Boring village. But a walk around the lagoon must be nice. Check-in machine did not give tickets. Then you do not have the codes to re-enter the site if you leave on foot and not for chemical toilet and water. There is a telephone number on the information board where someone is available 24/7 to arrange everything remotely. That works well in itself, although I had to wait a long time before it was my turn by phone.

I was there on January 12 and the motorhome was well occupied. The beautiful medieval village is deserted at this time of year, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. The registration column worked fine and the plumbing was in order.

I stayed here on January 10. Very friendly reception. Beautiful surroundings and the campsite has a restaurant and a mini-supermarket with an impressive range. Campsite was quite muddy because it had been raining for a month, they said. Excellent sanitary facilities, everything you need. I was passing through but would like to go back for a longer period of time.

This concerns a parking lot without facilities where overnight stays are tolerated. At least I had permission from the employees at the visitor center. Not dark at night. The parking lot is extensively illuminated. I stood there alone. Not really cozy but felt safe there. At weekends there are guided tours of the abbey and walks. Nice area.

Excellent base for hiking in the Sauerland. There is a wide choice of well signposted walks starting near the campsite. The pitches are spacious and the sanitary facilities are excellent. Due to the paid tourist tax, the stay includes free public transport. That is very handy, because the bus stops nearby and you can walk in all directions and let the bus take you back.

Super nice place. Large field, lots of space, fantastic view. Beautiful walking and cycling routes from the campsite. Always the sound of the A50. Because the field is very large, a bicycle is useful for fetching water and going to the sanitary building.

I thought it was a nice motorhome with a friendly manager / snack bar owner. Showers were nice and warm and the toilets were clean. The price in October was 14 euros for camper + 1 person. Electricity was € 0.60 for 1000 kW and a shower token € 1.50.

I was there mid October. Found this a very nice campsite in a beautiful area. The pitches are along the edge of a closed field. No wide view because of that. But view of the field itself. I found the mats on the places so that people don't put their own outdoor clothes down. Excellent sanitary facilities and a kind of living room with books and magazines. Lots of traffic noise from the A28. But it didn't really bother me.

Beautiful campsite in beautiful surroundings. Super clean and wonderfully heated sanitary facilities. Easy that there is a shop and a simple restaurant. Thought the price was very high: 65 euros for 1 person in a camper for 2 nights in the late season.

Great for a city camping. 'Our' receptionist gave us the opportunity to choose a place ourselves. A later receptionist did not give subsequent guests that option. So ask for that. Plumbing was fine, fairly clean and showers nice and warm, not washing up water. The hand soap at chemical toilet point was unfortunately gone. Check-in and check-out can take a long time. 5 km by bike to the center of town went fine.

Very nice campsite. The terrain is very varied: wooded pitches, hills with a view, sheltered basins and paved squares. The places are not demarcated. Whether you are spacious depends on what your new neighbor is doing. We were on a hill with a view but without electricity. Plumbing was excellent. The adjacent road is clearly audible in certain wind directions, as well as barking dogs in the valley. The camping shop is very handy.

Small campsite. Toilet block is simple but fine. The owner is very friendly. The view over the nature reserve is beautiful, the howling of the jackals in the evening and at night impressive as well as the starry sky. Downside is the barking of dogs from the neighborhood. It went on for hours. The dining room offers a daily choice of two simple, local dishes. We thought it was fresh and tasty. We found the national park itself rather boring.

Nice, quiet and rural camping on this somewhat cluttered but charming farm. The pool is not usable, sometimes there is no hot water and electricity is available in a common area. We paid 30 euros per night in September. That is a lot for what was offered, but the charm was worth it to us.

Friendly, small campsite with beautiful natural bathing water across the road. There is a camper/caravan field and a tent field which also had a single camper when we were there. The sanitary facilities are excellent. The camper pitches are small and when we were there it was very full. The most beautiful places have their own wooden terrace with a beautiful view. You can hear the road next to the campsite. Whether that bothers you is personal.
