Great campsite! We arrived late and hadn't made a reservation. They indicated that you actually should, but they made an exception. The restaurant also stayed open an hour longer so we could still eat! Super service. We paid 15 euros for 1 night. Sitting under the canopies is ideal, as it doesn't get too hot in the morning! The sanitary building is really in need of renovation, though, hence no 5 stars.

I would actually like to give 5 stars; the location is perfect! Right next to the beach and a lovely restaurant with a nice rooftop bar. The ferry that goes to Faro and back for 4 euros is also very close, just a 5-minute walk away. The atmosphere is great, and it is secured 24 hours a day. We stayed an extra night. Why 3 stars then? The showers are still cold, and the buildings (although clean) are outdated. Don't need luxury? Definitely go!

Great spot! It was nice and quiet, and because it was off-season, our dog was allowed onto the beach. We just asked the host of the Ricobayo Natural restaurant about this first. That is upstairs. Great guy, and we had a delicious meal!
