The only official campsite on Islay, unfortunately not centrally located. Close to Bruichladdich. Longer drive to Port Ellen. 10 electricity spots on the lake with a view, long walk to the showers (through the grass). Very windy. Showers and toilets were okay, nothing special. Restaurant available.

Good campsite but very expensive (£45 with electricity, pebble site) which I think can only be due to the location on the island. A shower block for everyone, 4 toilets without toilet paper in the evening. Otherwise nice view of the water (if you're lucky)

But very good pitch for one night before heading to Skye. Clearly marked fields, big enough, sometimes with a table. No electricity, but sewage and fresh water. Space = £10 online or box on site, Restrooms = £5 one off

Really good view, no question! Fair price:) I found the toilet blocks so-so... extremely fogged up, everything wet with a lot of grass, only two shower stalls. Toilet bowl was wet/damp

Nice spot! No toilets or anything, but if you have them in your camper, this is a great parking area. Nice view on the shore. In the evening, a lot of dog owners and football players, but makes it even better:) Love whatching the dogs.
