Great parking spot. There are restrooms, but nothing else. You pay 100 kronor at the restaurant and then receive a receipt to place under your windshield. The next day, you pay 50 kronor to leave the parking lot (you have to, because there's a barrier). All in all, with the current exchange rate, I didn't think it was worth 20 euros. But you're in a beautiful spot, close to the chalk cliffs and lighthouse, and it's a great place for dogs to walk.

Perfect place! Nothing to add to the other reviews.
Sitecode: 102462
Lovely spot! Everything looks neat and tidy. The owner comes by in the evenings with a mobile PIN/app for payment (CC is perfectly acceptable, although there's a QR code for Swish or PayPal at the reception). It has a Swedish cozy feel to it, and we love it.

There was supposed to be room for 5 campers here. Today they managed to squeeze in 22. 😳 I stayed here for one night. We arrived late afternoon, and there were only two of us left. Beautiful burial mounds and a walk of about 2 km in the area. The spot near the picnic table is nice. Evening walks or early morning walks are best in terms of light and visibility. Enjoy the peace and quiet and nature.

The campsite is open as usual! Bakkertje is only open on Saturdays (8-14) and Sundays (8-12) (not part of the campsite). Self-check-in Reception is open daily from 9-10. You can also pay then (no credit card, but cash, Swipe, or bank transfer are accepted). The shower and toilet look clean, and are located across the road from the campsite (if you need to go, you'll have to run, about 200 meters). There is a dry toilet on the campsite grounds.

Perfect! Such peace and tranquility. Incredibly kind people who volunteer at the campsite. The sanitary facilities are excellent, with showers requiring 5sek tokens. Note: Open from June 19th to August 17th. After that, there's no reception, but self-check-in. The sanitary facilities will close after August 17th, but there will be dishwashing facilities, treading ladders, and gray and black water disposal. A perfect spot in Dalarna!

Wonderful spot! Self-sufficiency is a must. We stayed there for one night with three other campers, and everyone enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Can you also give it six stars? What a wonderful campsite, the facilities are excellent. The separate field for smaller campers is incredibly convenient. The homemade hamburgers and fries are delicious! (The kitchen is closed on Sundays). The bread service is excellent, and breakfast with warm rolls is such a luxury. We paid 260 sek without electricity and stayed two nights. Washing machines work perfectly (for an additional 55 sek).

A beautiful spot with lovely walks. The Pearl Path is a pleasant walk. The church and cemetery (behind the harbor) are also worth a visit.
Sitecode: 9660
Great location, and it's nice that the center is open until 10 p.m. for restrooms. Otherwise, you're just parked in the parking lot; there are no amenities. But hey... you're standing and sleeping at the Arctic Circle. 😃
Sitecode: 106227
It's a beautiful spot. But if you drive a little further from this spot, you'll come to two small coves where you can also pitch your tent. Then you'll be on your own with an even better view of the harbor. This spot is also perfect for self-sufficient campers. A supermarket is nearby, and a stroll through the town is enjoyable. Right next to this campervan site is a ceramics studio. It's worth checking out.

This is no longer a place to stay overnight, nor are there any facilities. Only a toilet. A perfect place to stop for a bit, have a bite to eat, and enjoy the view.
Sitecode: 81080
The road to get there and the location are absolutely beautiful. 250 kronor for one night, excluding electricity (inc. 300). For this price, the restrooms could have been a bit cleaner. The owner will come by between 8 and 9 PM for payment (can be paid by card). Everything else is there, including a water dump and a tap. But the hygiene could be better.
Sitecode: 10994
Everything was perfectly arranged here! Be sure to arrive early for a spot with a beautiful view. Pay by ATM, 300 NOK for a spot without electricity. Showers 30 NOK. Clean restrooms.
Sitecode: 14132
Great place. I stayed here for two nights. Beautiful view. Road noise is bearable, especially in the evenings. The restrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Use of the washing machine and dryer is included in the price, which is perfect. I paid 300 kronor (excluding electricity). Many people passing through stay here. There was plenty of room.

Great for a lunch stop. I didn't spend the night there. The Sami shop next door is nice, but I wonder if it has anything to do with the Sami people.
Sitecode: 81104
Perfect for an overnight stay while traveling. Strangely enough, there's no way to dispose of gray water, even though there's a chemical toilet flushing machine. Toilets are clean. The view is beautiful. There's not much noise from the E6; we didn't hear anything at night.

No facilities, a bit rickety and dry toilet. 150 krona with Easy Park. Payment is required before entering the park (so only when visiting Gorsa Gorge).
Sitecode: 102286
Beautiful spot, wonderfully peaceful. We're here with four campers in total. Right on the water with a pretty white church in the background. Self-sufficient campers are perfectly happy here. The view of the fjord and waterfall is magnificent.
Sitecode: 20065
Perfectly arranged here. Showers and saunas are at Hotel Thon, about a ten-minute walk away. All amenities, including water and wastewater disposal, are available at the harbor. Beautiful views of the harbor town of Hammerfest, with reindeer foraging nearby and porpoises visiting the harbor in the evening.
Sitecode: 81654
Five stars for the location and three for the amenities. There's a large trash can/container for your "household waste," but there's no tap water or wastewater disposal. Overnight stays at Noordkaap itself aren't allowed (though you can stay until 1:00 AM). We arrived at 10:30 PM, and there was still room. It's a bit cramped, but after such a wonderful day at Noordkaap, it really doesn't matter. The site is about 15 minutes from Noordkaap, about 5 km.
Sitecode: 67315
A magical place. There's nothing there, so you have to be self-sufficient. (So, don't go to the bathroom behind the church and leave your paper and plastic behind... unfortunately, some people had done that). When you leave, you'll find several places where you can properly leave your trash. Keep these places clean together, and we'll all remain welcome.

Absolutely fantastic. Be careful not to enter the town name "Karesuando" into your navigation system. You'll drive past this place and be practically in Finland. There's a dry toilet, several picnic tables, and you can dive right into the lake. A great stopover.
Sitecode: 14556
Great spot. Especially the one down by the bridge and the water. Lots of mosquitoes, but you can protect yourself against them.
Sitecode: 81843
Nice spot. There's nothing else. If you leave and turn left at Porjus, you'll pass a water and wastewater treatment plant. Perfect.
Sitecode: 106969
Lovely spot, surrounded by nature. With the cleanest dry toilet we've seen in Sweden so far.
Sitecode: 68051
Everything was very well organized. Indeed, by the end of the morning everything was full (there were only 10 spaces). Paying with the parking app came to a total of 330 sek. It's a lot, but you're right at the harbor, have excellent showers, saunas, everything is very clean, and the use of the washing machine and dryer is included in the price.
Sitecode: 79466
Shhh…don't tell anyone…this is paradise.
Sitecode: 79033
Overpriced for a spot in a parking lot. 200 sek without electricity, 300 sek with. We drove on. It didn't look very nice at all. The surrounding village is very idyllic, though.
Sitecode: 69012
Wonderful place! Beautiful walk through the forest and along the coast. Sauna and many beaches for a dip in the sea. Dry toilet. 100 kronor, cash or with swish. Cash in a sort of safe on a pole at the harbor. A nice surprise on Saturday was a real ice cream man who drove by. We bought a box of ice cream with the campers who were there.
Sitecode: 156550
What a gem! Lovely campsite, lovely owner. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer). Spacious pitches. Note: there are no shops in the village (for groceries), so make sure you bring enough. The village has a well-known restaurant (Albertina) and a wonderful fish smokehouse where you can relax by the water for fika or lunch. Takeaway is also available.
Sitecode: 103464
What a cozy place. 100 zk cash or via Swish to pay. Dry toilet, gray water drains (not black). Small shed with loppis. Warm welcome. Quiet place.
Sitecode: 102966
Oh my…this is where wild camping in Sweden really begins. What natural beauty. The road there is already a fairy tale. There is room for a number of campers on the parking lot, there is even a caravan at the moment. Picnic tables nearby, toilets are fine. Various walks. Note: the 3 km walk is actually 4.5 🙈, but beautiful! Through the woods and along two lakes. And indeed a calf biter. Take water with you, even if it seems like a short walk.
Sitecode: 99287
Great location. Number of paved places. Sanitary facilities are ok, in the clubhouse of the golf. two showers, three toilets. Fixed price is 180 DK inc. electricity, price without electricity is not there. From the B&B it is still nice to walk along the woods. I stayed there for 1 night.
Sitecode: 103491
Nice spot. With a small camper you are very much between all the big white flats. In total approx. 15 to 18 places. Free, possibly donation. No sanitary facilities. Only when the boathouse is open, you can use the toilet there. You can get rid of waste water here and also tap new water. Nice harbour, small beach nearby. There is a small shop (local supermarket) within 10 minutes walking distance.
Sitecode: 159666
A very friendly place. We didn't stay there in the end because we arrived too early in the day and new guests can only come from 4pm. 1 night is 100zk. You can shower on the day of departure in one of the rooms that they also rent out, when people check out you can use the facilities in the room. Space for the camper is on the parking lot (paved) or in grass. Space for 3 campers. Lounge with bar and toilets.
Sitecode: 14725
For the location and the view 5 stars! Facilities: there are 2 dixies, which are cleaner than at many festivals. The sea is 50 meters away. Good for a refreshing dip in the morning. Half an hour walk to the center of Ystad. Stayed two nights. 100 crowns (9 euros) per night.
Sitecode: 11928
What a paradise! We came for two nights, it became four. And we would have liked to stay longer. We will definitely come back here. You can choose your own spot. You are surrounded by trees, nice places to sit everywhere. Sanitary facilities are neat. A very cozy atmosphere, you feel welcome here. There is a cozy reception where you can buy eggs and drinks at friendly prices. In short: a top location!
Sitecode: 24619
It is what it is, this campsite. But in many ways "too". Too close to a busy road and much too expensive. For 2 people + dog we paid 32 euros and then you have no electricity, no wifi. Hot water through geyser and sanitary facilities that are very outdated (clean though). Places are small and the owner cycles past several times to indicate where you should stand (close to other campers). All in all: mwah
Sitecode: 85959
What a lovely campsite! An oasis of peace and creativity. I really enjoyed it here. Perfect base to get to know Ameland a bit.
Sitecode: 98628
Nice campsite with spacious, neat and clean sanitary facilities. For ladies and gentlemen both 1 shower and 1 toilet. When the campsite is full, this seems a bit little. Point of attention: there is a lot of agricultural traffic around the campsite and that brings with it the necessary noise inc. sometimes a somewhat unsafe situation because people drive quite fast. But apart from that... a nice spot. Various walks, lovely church nearby and beautiful Tibetan stupa within walking distance.
Sitecode: 70964
In itself fine. For the location alone I would give 5 stars. Sanitary facilities are rickety and were not cleaned during our stay (2 nights, end of September). For 25 euros per night I expected more. Spacious places. Now with camper, years ago we were there before, with tent. Owner still just as friendly. Good base for visiting Etretat, on foot, bike or by car.
Sitecode: 47269
GREAT nice campsite. Ultimately stayed 4 nights. What peace, a wonderful environment and nice owners. Everything fine, wifi a bit wobbly, but still didn't want to be online much. Sanitary facilities all fine. Really nothing to complain about. I would go here again on my next holiday.
Sitecode: 58603
This campsite is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. That is very nice for 1 night. However, 1 night with a camper for 45 euros, that is not really worth 1 campsite. Hence the 3 stars. We paid 7 euros for the dog. Over the top! The shop had limited stock because the campsite was almost closing. At night there was noise pollution (music) and people drove very fast on the campsite, by both guests and staff. Nice washer/dryer combination.
Sitecode: 55151
Nice campsite! I don't think it can be closer to the centre and the cave. 50 euro deposit for a pass that gives you access to a beautiful walking route to the cave, baths and the church. Nice people at reception. We paid 33 euros for 2 nights (no electricity). Bread roll service. Sanitary facilities very neat and clean. Nice campsite to explore the area even further.
Sitecode: 106218
Make a reservation! The first time we came here, they were full. Two days later there was room for two nights. We went back. In one word: wonderful! Lovely, clean, great view and delicious products for sale. Small-scale campsite, nice for those seeking peace and quiet among us.
Sitecode: 59125
Great campsite. Expensive though. We paid 30 euros per night. We are self-sufficient when it comes to electricity. But they charge 1 price. Sanitary facilities were ok. The water wasn't really hot. Washing machines were excellent, 1 wash 7 euros. There is a nice restaurant nearby. The reception was warm. In the evening, the grounds are lit up with incredibly bright lights. If you are unlucky with your spot, you will be in bright light all night long. Unnecessary and not sustainable.
Sitecode: 95900
Beautiful location, between the trees. Close to the centre of Sault. Friendly welcome. Reasonable price, 18 euros for 1 night. Clean sanitary facilities. Remember to bring your own toilet roll!
Sitecode: 66600
Nice place. Clean and well-organized. Almost at the foot of the Alpe d'Huez. Have been coming here for a number of years for a cycling holiday. Village within walking distance. The campsite has become a lot more expensive compared to last season. You pay 4 euros per day for a dog, which I find excessive. The total came to just under 25 euros per night (excl. electricity). The sanitary facilities are cleaned three times a day. They have also had a swimming pool since 2024.
Sitecode: 115431
What a great place! In the middle of nature. Lovely green, lots of trees and lots of peace. With the cowbells in the background. A beautiful (and tough!) bike ride to Lake Nantua. I would go back here again.
Sitecode: 4295
Beautiful place. In terms of nature in the middle of nowhere. But very busy with campers and hikers. There is no more nothing. There is a small shop and two restaurants. Very nice, but if you prepare yourself for nothing, then the crowds are overwhelming. Three toilets, charging facilities and water for washing dishes. Contribution camping is voluntary.
