We were here off-season (end of May) and it wasn't a problem to stay overnight during the week. However, the parking area isn't the easiest to navigate; you should probably check out the route beforehand and then head to your desired parking spot. The view is stunning, the bay offers plenty to explore, and it's very peaceful. You should fill up your tank and stock up on water beforehand, as it's about 40 km/50 minutes to the next gas station.

Spacious parking area. Waste disposal available. Free outside of peak season. Small trash cans are provided. Shady spots are scarce. The parking area is very noisy. The surrounding bars play loud music until late at night—you have to like that sort of thing. Restaurants open quite late, and the beach bars mostly offer junk food (frozen). The dog beach area was very nice (end of May).

Great parking and overnight accommodation. A great many spaces are available. There are plenty of shaded parking spaces. The beach is very close by. The two kiosks/bars open from May 23, 2026.

We were there in mid-May. It's quiet and parking is free. The beach, bar, and restaurant are all within easy reach. Dog and child friendly. Dog Beach is clearly marked. There's a great playground in the adjacent pine forest by the beach, perfect for even very young children. No waste disposal facilities are available. Restrooms are located in the bars and restaurants. During the peak summer season, there are also beach showers and restrooms in the pine forest.

The campsite is right by the sea and a pine forest (pebbly beach). There's also a lovely sandy beach nearby (a maximum 10-minute walk). A beach bar with restrooms is also right next door. The campsite was free in May. The access road is a bit bumpy but manageable. There's plenty of parking available. Overall, it's very dog- and child-friendly. There are no signs prohibiting dogs, and many locals walk their dogs on the beach.

A very nice park for daytime use. Playground for all ages. Beach and lake access right on site. Changing rooms are available, as are benches, trash cans, and a lifeguard station. However, the parking lot is absolutely not recommended for overnight stays, as it is very noisy due to the young people who gather there in the evenings. Loud music and running engines are standard throughout the night.

A fenced-in pitch right on the beach. It offers everything you need (clean all around). No shade, but you can extend the awning. Dogs are allowed at the campsite and were also allowed on the beach, especially in June. A small supermarket is right around the corner. On the beach, there's a bar and a typical pine forest with benches, tables, and a playground that provides shade.

Spacious, free, gravel parking lot. Beautiful, well-maintained beach, small bar, beautiful promenade, restaurants, and the harbor—all within easy reach of the parking lot. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. View of the sea, including the sunset. Restrooms are available on the beach, and there are service stations at the other end of town (about 5-10 minutes away).

Highly recommended. The price is fair (card is reusable). Shady spots in the pine forest. Restrooms, garbage and wastewater disposal, and fresh water are available. Plenty of pitches, but you don't disturb each other. Beautiful beach within walking distance.

Quiet and beautiful parking space. Space for 2-3 campers (max 6m) or VW buses/cars. No furnishings or rubbish, but a great view of Lake Storsjön. Swimming possible, picnic table and fire pit available.

Absolutely great opportunity to observe reindeer. Large parking lot on the street. Still absolutely quiet. No furniture or rubbish. But there are endless reindeer to observe.

Nice parking space on gravel or grass. Opposite there is a swimming area with a wooden jetty, large lawn, fireplace, rubbish, dry toilet. The swimming area is ideal for children as the water is shallow.

Parking space or pitch directly on the beach. We recommend the pitch directly on the dog beach for overnight stays. At first glance it seemed busy, but most people are on the beach so you have absolute peace and quiet at your pitch. There is a separate area for dogs on the beach. No sanitary facilities available, best to be self-sufficient. Good value for money.

Great parking space for 24 hours. A newly built park with a beach, swimming facilities, sanitary facilities, a huge lawn, playground, various seating areas, picnic areas, etc. It was very quiet at night. Absolutely recommended.
