great place, quiet. no facilities, except for a view of the greenery and the sports fields

Great place for a stop on your way there or back. The concept is simple. If you are unable to buy a card at the kiosk, call the helpdesk and they will help you through it. Everything just works today. It's still quiet (because early afternoon)

What a beautiful view, nice pool and quiet area. We will come back here, maybe in the winter too!

Everything has already been mentioned, nice, clean, and friendly here. Swimming pool is a (square) stamp. Not interesting for us as swimmers unfortunately. For the racing cyclist, 12 cols are a nice challenging daytime activity. Furthermore, there is not much (to do in the area) and that probably explains the limited occupancy.

More spectacular views are almost impossible. What a place! As far as we're concerned, a topper. We like peace and quiet, it does not have to be very tight and clean, just a babbling brook in front of your door and just watch and listen.

Possibly more of a place for winter, with lifts close by. Now in the summer we were not very enthusiastic about it. Handy location for rafters and paragliders. We like peace and quiet, so we went further into the valley. That was a good move.

Lovely here, maybe a bit for birds of paradise. Yummy. The places are okay, the rest is complete. The registration is on a paper card with a card index. Top. Pay in cash.

In this time quiet and cheap. There is room enough and therefore space around you. Pool is small, more for kids. River access doesn't look appealing (muddy). Easy walk/bike to town for the necessary shops. Friendly family run.

Okay, join the camping car club. No other facilities. I think it's expensive for what it offers. No toilet etc. Walking and cycling in the area.

Just empty it, there's nothing more. doesn't appear that way either. Please change the symbol.

After some startup problems with the terminal (software issue), this was solved with a remote phone call and I could go. Nice place, toilet is present and tidy. The road to Cauterets is behind/above. This one is not busy now.

Large campsite with terraces, many of which are unfortunately not very suitable for maneuvering with a camper or caravan. The adjacent road is always audible but ahead. I found a nice place, it's not high season. The price is in accordance with the offer. Are you looking for the French battle; then you will find it here ;)

Nice place with a pool that has water in it at this time of year that is swimable, that's good! The campsite is w.s. once thought of at a time when people did not take increasingly larger campers and caravans with them.. so drivers who are not very handy with about 7 meters and more, give us a nice performance or rather a place elsewhere..

Strange to refer to this as CP. This way, every parking space can be seen as such. That doesn't seem desirable, does it?

Great, more mountain world from the camper is almost impossible. Be active here, or enjoy endless views. Village with a bakery and other necessities and a few terraces. On Saturdays, the greengrocer-cum-fish shop stops by on the square in the village. Toilet and shower is provided, the latter is cold. (great after a sweaty walk)

Nice view, large campsite. Everything empty, apparently the area is only a crowd puller in the summer. And that is possible because it is almost 900m high here, so a bit cooler. I'm a digital nomad, reception here is a bit more limited. This may unfortunately be the reason not to stay here long.

Nothing tells me there is a CP here, so let's not do that

It could have been 5 stars if the pool was filled. But according to good Iberian custom, this is only open after 1/6 or so. And now it is 30gr .. haha shame. Also super cheap of course.

This is the first place in Portugal after a month of using many CPs that I drive on because I don't want to be here solo and alone on such a huge terrain. Here and there cars populated or not, no. This feels too exposed.

Fine in itself. A car park at a sports complex and the necessary shops at 300m. That's handy. The grille in the adjacent main street says bonkbonk when a car drives over it. That doesn't make me happy.

Good place for the camper. Personally, I don't find the landscape so interesting at this altitude anymore, as does this village. There is nothing, except the aforementioned tourist junk shops. A little lower in the area, motorhome life is more fun in my opinion.

If it's going to be summer below with 30 degrees, it's time for me to go up. Lovely here, I feel safe, good place! (even though I'm alone here for now) And a 10 for the view and the environment of course.

Everything in order, functionally speaking. Celebrating your holiday here is another story. Between the bus station and an abandoned flat, um. Fortunately I can leave here tomorrow, that work.

Good to do here, the cp is almost empty. During the day there is some passing traffic on the road next to it. As said before with the other unofficial CP in this village, why not? Everything is within walking distance and it is made for it. Still cool that these free places are possible in this country.

What a nice quiet place with bathing water. There are several off road spots, beautifully situated and nice and private. There is nothing more to wish for!

Perfect, indeed for smaller motorhomes. Village next to/above. Nice and quiet because not on a main road.

Fine here, toilet block nearby, tap and waste bins even closer. The St. Peter of Portugal is impressive. The largest supermarket density too. And the first (only?) CP without endless barking dogs, sometimes nice.

Good location, reasonably close to the beach of Zambujeira (biking through the inside, but steep and partly unpaved, about 10k). Nice atmosphere, perfect WiFi.

A Dutch oasis in the Portuguese hills. Everything is tightly organised, it doesn't get any better than that. All this also attracts many compatriots, and that is fine at times. Even an (unheated) swimming pool is provided; lovely! After a few days it was high time to break free from the NL bubble.
Sitecode: 19408
Had a place with a nice view, nice people, everything well organized. the N1 is always clearly audible, day/night, especially with a pop top. But of course the camping owners can't do anything about that.

It is a beautiful place in a tiny village. Strange that it's free. This also attracts birds of paradise, which seem to be here semi-permanently. Nothing wrong with that, but should you want this as a village? A small fee is also possible. And some supervision so that the gentlemen and ladies motor home do not drive further and further into the meadow behind. Anyway, it's fine here and it feels safe!

be able to see from home whether there is room. that is really handy in overcrowded Zeeland (and South Holland). Saves stress! Not cheap but well organized. I understand the limitations, but also see the benefits.
