The camper site is OK, looks good. Unfortunately, the highway is clearly audible, and when I was there, the electricity was useless because the voltage fluctuates between 170 and 200 volts.

It is a shame that the municipality is going to turn this into a source of revenue yet again. Next year, 2027, this spot will also be paid for. Municipalities never consider SMEs in this regard. They probably still think that the camper is a wealthy person who can easily shell out several euros daily for an overnight spot. It is certainly a nice place for shopping, walks along the Vechte, or one of the many cycling routes.

I just drove on. I actually wanted to pay another visit to Emmen and, for example, visit the zoo. Unfortunately, the money (almost €20) is already almost spent on this concrete slab. The facilities aren't really great either. I don't understand why campervan owners still want to park here, and some for longer than a day. The previous place, where you are no longer allowed to park, was better and more pleasant in my opinion. I'll look for something else for these kinds of prices.

The plan was to visit this place again. I was there just last year. Back then it was €10, but now it's almost double. I'll look for something else where I don't get ripped off.

And so the few camper spots available to us are taken over by trucks (see photo). We stay here every now and then and found this place nicer/more pleasant than nowadays.

The distrust is growing here. Pay immediately upon arrival. Because they didn't have change, I received my credit the next day. In the morning, an employee comes to take down all license plates, and upon leaving, you're checked again. Many pitches are too narrow. There's no Wi-Fi. A small tent had been pitched inside the women's showers. At first, the campsite looked good, but later...

With the best of intentions, you can't call this a campsite. If you arrive after a long day, with a ferry crossing, you'll receive a friendly welcome. BUT, don't go here when it's raining or raining. You'll be standing in a fishbowl where the water can't drain, with all the consequences. Even after a single rain shower, the "CAMPING" is a giant mud puddle. You see people leaving one after another. The sanitary facilities are poor. Renovations are definitely in order.

This is a camping car park and, in my opinion, not worth €15.32. It is, however, a beautiful area for cycling or walking.

Municipalities take an example from Coevorden???? I think it should be the other way around, but yes, for some of us the child's hand is quickly filled. If you want to have or discharge water here, you have to drive to the marina. Phew and that for € 10.50. I'll drive on to abroad where you can occasionally still find a very good spot with everything you want and for NOP or is that no longer allowed by the rich among the campers?
