We thoroughly enjoyed the view from this campsite. It was so beautiful; the view changed every minute, which was a treat in itself. The Black Mountains look so beautiful from this spot. The owners are such nice, warm people. There is a lovely walking path to Hay-on-Wye and the river. Furthermore, everything was top-notch.

Very beautiful campsite! Super nice owner. Beautiful, clean toilet facilities. Nice layout of the campsite, so it doesn't feel massive. Beautiful, large pitches. Wi-Fi is great. Beautiful village, where time has stood still, just a few minutes' walk away.

Nice owner, but what a dated place. Shower scalding hot. Toilets that flush poorly. A long walk to the toilet facilities. Small spot for the camper. No Wi-Fi, and all this for £40 per night. Whatever you do, don't order a milkshake at that eatery; it's just milk with syrup and nothing else.

Small campsite, which we like. Friendly owner. Nicely close to the Veluwezoom with beautiful hiking trails. Our son lives in De Steeg so of course we go here more often.
