Some friends recommended this MH stop to us. Glad they did. Excellent stop over at a lovely North York’s market down with lovely walks etc. It’s free overnight and you just pay for parking during the day. Well done to the forward looking council. We are returning shortly and visiting the Helmsley Arts Centre for a gig. Very safe and others here when we visited. Small bays.

Listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and well worth a visit. Visited in winter 2019 which was quiet but think may be difficult for motor homes in the summer. Toilets nearby were open and a short walk away was a water pump. We filled up from here as no other facilities available. Lovely place.

A lovely stop by the side of the river. No facilities in winter. Plenty of space to park with a small children’s park alongside. This village and St Savin looked really nice but we didn’t get the chance to explore closely. Toilet block was open but no running water in Dec 2020.

Wissant is always busy as it’s about 10 miles from Calais so very handy for ferries and tunnel. No water but emptying available. Wissant has a nice beach and has nice walks along the front. We stayed in Dec 2019 and returned in Jan 2020. Even busy at that time. Easy walk into town from the Aire. Will always return here.

A beautiful old village with a lovely church and manor house. Came in winter 2020 and quite busy with walkers etc. Think it will be very busy during the summer season. Well worth a visit. Houses are very pretty and very old and traditional.

A lovely village with fab parking. No facilities here but plenty of parking in order to visit one of the prettiest villages of France. Stayed here in Dec 2020. Worth a visit and a walk round.

Stayed here in Jan 2020. Lovely large Aire with all facilities working. Even the water was switched on. In a fab position as the village was easily accessible from the Aire. A short walk down into the village which is listed in the most beautiful villages of France. Well worth a visit. The river walk with information about life in the village in the past was every 20 yards. Would recommend.

Stayed here in Jan 2020. Barriered and a short distance to the city. Free buses are available from outside the camper stop and every 15 minutes. Excellent service. Aire is clean, spacious and secure. Emptying but no fresh water in winter. Blois is well worth a visit. Lots to see and do. It’s about a 15 to 20min steady walk.

Stayed on the quay side of the Loire opposite Blois which is very pretty lit up at night. No facilities but plenty of parking. Signed for buses etc. Felt fairly safe. Lovely views the next morning as very cold but sunny. Stayed here in Jan 2020.

Lovely little stop over with other vans parked up. No facilities but lovely fish and chip shop in the small working town. Nice views over the harbor and the bridge. Will return. People very friendly too.

We went to see a friend with a camper with a view to booking ourselves at a later date. The site is huge and extremely busy with caravans and campers parked very close together. Lots of people and things going on. Expensive and too busy. Won’t be booking in the future. Disappointed. In fact a child on a bike ran into one of our cars.

Free aire close to the town and supermarket. Had to park very close together and no street parking as it was opposite a very busy school who used the street to park. Arras has large pretty Flemish squares to wander around but we were a bit disappointed with the aire and the town. The English WW1 cemetery was interesting.

Excellent camperstop with all facilities including electric and individual marked pitches next to the campsite which was closed in March. No one came to collect the 5euros either. The old town was also worth a wander. Will return as it’s a good stop off on route to the Alps.

A nice place for a stop over next to a car park with height restriction and a skate park that was out of action. Good facilities and clean. Town had a nice safe feel. Only 4 spots but not busy in April. A token was needed for water.

A handy stop over from either ferry or tunnel. Lovely pitches set out overlooking the marina. Handy for supermarkets too. Winter fee is 4 50E and facilities are a little drive away near the police station which is well signed. Pay for water. Lovely town and walks too.

A nice overnight stop over. Stayed in March and water is switched off. Emptied waste water etc. Village looks nice but didn’t go around it as we were on route to the Alps for a skiing and walking holiday. Would use again.

Site opposite the entrance to the museum. Secure and costs 40 PLN per night. Convenient to the Auschwitz museum and catch a bus to Birkenau. Free to do both after 4 but recommend a guided tour which needs to be booked well in advance. Shower and toilet expensive. Safe and plenty of spots. Electric extra. Come prepared.
