Beautiful, quiet campsite; a fifteen-minute walk to the center of Chartres. Very friendly staff at reception! Wi-Fi only works at reception and in the adjacent communal lounge. Gates and barrier require a number code. We've read in many reviews about the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, so we think we just happened to find them less than perfect. A large clump of hair on the shower drain and a dirty toilet that smelled of urine—yuck.

A lovely, small, clean campsite. Friendly (and English-speaking) owners! A different food truck every day! Downside: the shower temperature isn't adjustable. The tram station is a 15-minute walk at most, from where you can reach Orléans in 20 to 25 minutes. A ticket costs €2.20 per person (one way). Also recommended (on foot from the campsite) is the Parc Floral de la Source. It's a beautiful garden with an indoor butterfly garden.

Second time @ Nieuw Duinoord: ENJOYMENT once again!!! Hanneke, Albert, and the kids are wonderfully sweet owners and super hosts. We were lucky in August: the annual BBQ took place on the day we arrived. Fantastically organized! You simply have to experience a stay at this location for yourself! We're going to make it an annual tradition: 5 days on Texel & Nieuw Duinoord every year. We've already booked for next year!

Excellent for those visiting Andorra la Vella for one or more days. This campsite is located in the city (so there's more ambient noise). Nevertheless, we slept well in our rooftop tent under the pop-up roof. The facilities are excellent, although there are a few things to consider. The campsite is very expensive (48 euros per night, with an additional 2 euros for internet access, which we find rather disappointing). We also found the electricity expensive.

A lovely, small-scale campsite where we had a very pleasant stay. Friendly owners, good facilities, and fun activities nearby, such as the gondola lift (tip: take the lift up and walk back down). Despite the fact that this campsite is situated on a road, we experienced no noise disturbance in the evenings and at night (and slept well in the roof tent under our pop-up roof).

AMAZING! What a beautiful campsite Mark and Petra have built over the past twenty years, nestled in nature. Peace, cleanliness, and regularity are perfectly apt! In their bistro, "a table," you can truly savor what Mark and Petra offer and prepare! They also offer various packages, a fresh bread service, and more. This is the perfect place to unwind. A car or electric bike are essential, as there's nothing to be found in the immediate area.

We stayed here from August 30th to September 7th. The swimming pool, reception, camping shop, etc. were very clean! The toilet and laundry facilities are dated but very clean and functional! The atmosphere at the campsite is friendly, the owners are friendly, and the staff is helpful. The beach (Platja de Castell) is 1.5 kilometers from the campsite, while Cala Estreta (quieter, more idyllic) is a 45-minute walk away (but there's no lifeguard; our electric scooters were stolen there!).

Here we are: the campsite is closed and the house appears deserted. Google says: temporarily closed. We don't see any notices on this "campsite's" own website.

In one word: GREAT! Willy and Deny are warm, hospitable, helpful from arrival to departure. They are also always up for a chat! The mini-campsite is very clean and tidy: nothing to complain about! Good toilet facilities that are cleaned very regularly (at least twice a day!) What a nice place and what lovely people: we will gladly come back!!!

What a great campsite, what a lovely owner and what a loving team of staff! We were in a beautiful spot on the field. View of olive trees, cypresses and in the evening FIREFLIES! 😍 Upon arrival, a glass of wine from the house is offered, upon departure a cappuccino: fantastic and very thoughtful!! Only disadvantage: no partitions in the showers: all your stuff gets wet. But: we will definitely come back to Andrea and his top campsite!

What a beautiful campsite! 😍 Plus points are certainly: the supermarket, the restaurant with the option for take-away pizzas, the private beach and the beautiful swimming pool with a bar! All of that gets 4 to 5 stars from us! However, the sanitary facilities / buildings look outdated and are in our opinion impractical: when showering all your stuff gets wet, no hot water at the sinks to shave, etc. Therefore 3 stars.

First of all, thank you very much for the warm welcome!!! And what a beautiful garden you have! 😍 However, we still had reasons to leave after 1 night. Last night around 23:30 LOUD MUSIC! Then fireworks. Then hours of barking from the local dogs. Terrible, we slept badly! Finally, a tip/request: run a hot water pipe to the sink to do the dishes! It is a bridge of less than 2 meters. 😉

GREAT!!! What a nice mini campsite on a beautiful agricultural company where there are also Alpacas! More info: see their own website! Everything very neat and well arranged. A good atmosphere, water and electricity at the camping spot, a freezer (etc.) in the recreation room for shared use; they have thought of everything! Albert, Anneke and kids: we would love to come camping with you again with our Volkswagen camper van!

What a beautiful, well-maintained campsite! We were here in May '24 and hope to go again next weekend! The people who run this campsite (2 Dutch people) are very nice and helpful! We highly recommend this campsite!

We have now been to the Tholen Marina twice! Completely satisfied both times! Both harbor masters (Rien as a volunteer harbor master and Lydia as a permanent harbor master) are very nice and helpful and have nothing but good things to say about the atmosphere and facilities! The toilet block is very neat and extensive: everything functions great and it is fantastic that for 15 euros per night you can be in such a beautiful location at the Marina with so many facilities!
