Great, works even in winter. Don't insert euro coins into the Sanizuil dispenser, but go to the gas station and get a coin insert, 50 cents each for, I estimate, 50 liters. At first glance, the dispenser doesn't seem to work (the buttons are partially cracked open), but as soon as you insert a coin, a light comes on and the buttons work, provided you press gently.

Not really bad, but not great either. The campground is open in the winter, but the water intake and waste disposal are closed. (All the water taps on the campground itself are too, so that's no alternative.) So that's useless. Just close it in the winter, then we wouldn't have driven here unnecessarily. And it really isn't that difficult to keep a tap frost-free, especially next to a large campground like this. (Electricity does work, by the way.)

Absolutely fantastic. The only minor drawback: according to their website, during a really cold winter, water can still be taken in and drained even in freezing temperatures—but when there's serious SNOW (a maximum of a few days a year, and even then they're still open), their service area is also snowed under, slippery, and unusable, as was our experience in early January 2026. On all the other 360 or so days of the year, this is, of course, a completely irrelevant point.

A-ma-zing CP, everything top-notch and super convenient. And then there's all sorts of lovely regional products in the little shop. And all for just 12 euros + 3 euros for electricity. Once again: A-MA-ZING!

Great location. Only downside: the chemical drain tap is a push-in type, which means 10 seconds of water. Very inconvenient. Unlike elsewhere, the lawn doesn't turn into a mud puddle when it rains because, as the harbor master told us, the subsoil is rubble (porous) with soil on top, so water can drain away. Parking is available on both sides—so there's a large, open lawn in the middle where everyone can sit and enjoy a view of the water. NOTE: Closing date: November 1st, the harbor master told us, not October 1st!

This is a nearly perfect campervan site: you can choose your own spot in plenty of space (so even when it's busy, you won't feel cramped), you can choose between sun or shade, grass or asphalt, and enjoy expansive views (unfortunately, not from a hill overlooking a valley or waterway), set back from the quiet road (though not completely secluded), and water, electricity, and waste disposal (paid for with euro coins). The downside: the electricity pitches are too close to the road (unless you have very long cables...).

Great location on grass in two sections, each 1/8 circle around Das Bad swimming pool (located two streets north of the map shown here). Payment at the cashier: €7.50 including electricity + a €50 deposit for the key (refundable upon return) for the barrier tag, electricity box, and sanitation column (left before the parking entrance; the coin costs €2). You can also park for free on the other 1/8 circle of grass. There's no electricity there. There's a manual barrier that isn't locked.

The photos look rather bleak, and in reality, it certainly was. Just asphalt and stone, surrounded by tall, opaque shrubs and hedges. It feels closed in with no view. It does seem like a peaceful area if you want to sleep in undisturbed. It's quite in the outskirts of the city, but it doesn't seem particularly unsafe. We drove north to Merzig. Spacious pitches there on grass near the pool. Paid-for electricity, or free.

It seems like a great spot, but only if you're one of the four or five campers who arrived first, or were already there, because then you can indeed park right on the edge of the lawn. If you're the fifth or sixth, you can, if you prefer, park in the regular parking space for cars. There's nothing wrong with that, but then you'll be among the regular cars and have no view. That wasn't the plan/idea for which we came here, so we drove on.

Reviewed a location—8 months ago

Just about acceptable CP IF it's half occupied, because then there's always one free spot next to you. If it's more than half occupied, you're crammed right next to each other, exactly 4 meters wide – including the camper. And everything is on a gravel surface. Electricity costs €1 = 1 kWh. You also have to pay for water, and on top of that, a €16 parking fee. Completely absurdly overpriced. We won't be returning. Free parking is available in all sorts of other places nearby (without amenities, of course).

Excellent campsite. Large, so lots of campers, but partly terraced & you choose your own spot, so you have a view & aren't easily crowded. The whole place feels peaceful & spacious. The valley is wide, mountain views. We paid €49 (2p & electricity, the campsite uses a super exchange rate of 1 SFR = 1 EUR - 2025) – expensive, but here in/near Zermatt EVERYTHING is expensive. In Zermatt: take away 2 pizzas for €55!! "They're crazy, these Swiss." Washer/dryer: 1 SFR/hour & free "drying cellar."

Excellent location. Free parking, water, and drainage. Clean, spacious, and quiet. (Because yes, if "real" campervan sites are full, there's still a regular parking lot next to it that's four times as big and isn't heavily used by cars.) There are also two drawbacks to this campsite: there's no shade, and the power point is still disconnected.

Reviewed a location—8 months ago

This is a top spot only if you want to walk straight into Sestri from your campervan and/or be less than 100 meters from the beach. Otherwise, avoid this campsite like the plague. Contrary to what the photos suggest, you're crammed together (we were there in July), with about half the pitches in ZERO shade. The other half (I think: long-standing pitches) are under trees or bushes. The whole thing is situated in a rocky outcrop, so there's no wind, but it is hot. Price for 2025 for 2 people: €45 + €2 cash/tax. Absurdly overpriced!

Excellent toilet/gray dump station & fresh water refills—free. It's located on a very quiet square, on stone, where you could probably also stay overnight without any problems. But in terms of the nice view, pleasant green space, and cozy location: 3x No No No. I actually think it's an excellent service station.

Reviewed a location—8 months ago

Great location. We didn't stay there, but we did use the dump station and refill our water—free of charge. I've read in previous reviews that you have to pay for a night, but when entering from the north side, at the water/dump station, there's no mention of this.

This Zona Verde parking lot may be closed, but a hundred meters to the north is a very large parking lot—without facilities, by the way—where campers are (once again?) permitted. It's located somewhat on the main road, but if you park in the corner of the lot, you won't be bothered by it.

Back again (almost) two years later at this service point, and –you hardly believe it in Italy– everything still works fine. The on/off handle of the 4 sprinklers at the drain grid is now broken, but with the help of a water pump pliers or something you can easily turn them on and off. Furthermore, everything from my 2 previous reviews still applies: the nomads still live there & it remains a somewhat messy place, but everything works flawlessly and is completely FREE.

We +didn't+ use or even see this service point (so despite the -obligatory- star no opinion on whether it is good/bad), but the good news is that, contrary to what you might expect because it is located on the (E55) autostrada, it is TOLL-FREE to reach: the relevant section there is free.

There is a working water tap but I found it absolutely unsuitable for drinking water because it was clearly intended as flushing water for toilet cassettes. However, neither under that tap nor elsewhere is there a drain to empty the toilet. Effectively this means that this location is unusable or out of order. Only the self-service petrol/diesel filling station is functioning.

Reviewed a location—10 months ago

Sitecode: 54732

Simple but -at least at this moment, May 2025- functional (free) service point. The water tap works fine, provided you bring a standard connection adapter and water hose yourself. You can also use it for drinking water (in our case that is: filling bottles) but to be on the safe side we have limited our intake to the shower water tank. Drain has a large grid, is suitable for both toilet and grey & drains neatly (=no blockage).

In the afternoon & evening this cp is completely in the dark shadow of the bridge next to it, with almost zero view. In the middle of the Italian summer heat that is probably quite ideal. But in the early (or late) season on a beautiful sultry evening of approx. 20-22 degrees with a magnificent sunset on the other side of the bridge (of which you see nothing at all on this cp) we found it a dark, cold, nasty place, and we drove on.

Excellent cp with excellent facilities. Three spacious levels to stand. Part of the lowest level is close to the road, but it is (mid-May) not terribly busy. We slept excellently (on the 2nd level) despite the road. And indeed: ex-ceptionally friendly managers. Price (incl 2.70 tax pp) in total 24.50 per night for 2p, elex + water + sanitary facilities included. And a beautiful view too. Highly recommended!

Great location. Places on the water (approx. 25?) already full when we arrived (Wed/May/5pm). Indeed much too close together. But drove under the bridge: ample space & even a view of greenery (instead of cars) in almost empty bus bays (where of course there is no electricity). Pay for water with coins (100L/1€), but the pressure is absurdly high (soaked when filling bottles; with a water hose no problem). Walking along the river over the OLD bridge into town is great!

Great place. Large parking lot with in the evening in a very friendly atmosphere the local youth driving around in cars (a la America 1950s), at night at least during the week very quiet. Places directly on a large lawn. 5 euros/night incl electricity, pay at Shell pump on the same square, gives you the key for (four) power boxes/toilet building, probably (not used myself) there are also water taps in there. Also a great pizzeria directly on the square.

Absolute top CP. Everything as you want it: spacious pitches with grass next to them, view + peace, and all facilities are excellent. Only 2 minor minus points: drinking water point has no Gardena connection, which is strange & inconvenient (but can be solved by filling up water at the sinks that do have Gardena connection) and logging in / making a reservation takes too much time & asks absurdly too much in terms of privacy (home address, date of birth, telephone number), which is none of their business.

Excellent campsite in a great Paris location with spacious pitches (=all on asphalt, plus an equally large piece of grass next to it, each pitch bordered on three sides by a hedge). Friendly staff, also speaks English. The only downside is the service area. Everything works (drainage, water, toilet) but the -only- sani column is ancient, is in a very inconvenient place (in a corner) and has push buttons for water (instead of a regular tap) - clumsy for such a large campsite.

What a HORRIBLE place (and EVEN worse if you end up in the 2nd row, i.e. +not+ on the water/harbor. Being crammed in between 99 other campers on an asphalt plain: why don't all these campers just stay home?? The whole basic idea of a camper is that you have freedom, space, peace & nature, and this place has absolutely NONE of that. The facilities are fine though. A great but also strange CP. Great, because facilities are excellent (NB: toilet discharge IN the service building, NOT in front of it at the grey water discharge point), swimming pool half price and best: washing machine + dryer INCLUDED in price - reserve at reception, in blocks of 3 hours. Strange, because the entire complex is spacious & with emptiness around it, yet all (in themselves spacious) places have ZERO view. That feels +totally unnecessary+ far too close together.

We only stopped here to fill up with water and use the toilet so our experience is limited - and that's why it's 4 stars instead of 5. The reception was ex-ceptionally friendly, the toilets and toilet cubicle were spotlessly clean, and the pitches at the bottom of the hill/slope right on the water (although possibly a bit more in the wind) seemed perfectly ideal. Too bad we couldn't stay! (Tight travel schedule, sometimes that's bad luck+unfortunately.)

Fantastic place – if you are self-sufficient (& have good weather). The short way there is indeed quite bad but still doable. The place itself is almost deathly quiet, has a beautiful view of the lake & a huge lawn. We were there Mon + Tue with 1 or 2 campers in the evening/night and during the day only a few Swedish swimmers. The swimming bay is reasonably in the (wind) shelter and you can easily walk over pebbles into the very shallow water.

Fagelsjö is quite picturesque but the location of this (gravel) parking lot is only moderate: one of the large houses of the yard is quite in front of you & view. There is a swimming jetty at 100m. Price 150/200 SEK ex/in elex but no grey/toilet discharge. Water +with hose+ only just behind the 1st house on the right at/after the right yard entrance. Fill small tanks/bottles at toilets & (paid) shower. Camping Tandsjö (15km S & slightly more expensive) is probably a better place.

Great spot (and free too) provided you are self-sufficient in terms of electricity + water, although there is a small tap at the toilet / showers to fill bottles (also free) (no water hose can be connected). View magnificent & directly on the sea + Storebaelt bridge. The swimming jetty that extends about 50m into the sea, is used early and late by the locals. Indeed a truly fabulous place. Huge lawn where you can choose your own place. There are electrical columns (approximately 10 outlets) on both edges, each with a water tap. From the lawn you walk 100 meters further onto the beach and into the lake. Strange: on a Wednesday in August with perfect sunshine at 11am there were still hardly any bathers at the lake, which means we almost swam solo! Toilet, gray & water well arranged. A reasonable spot for 10 euros/night, so you don't have to stay at the more expensive campsite. So no electricity here, but only water and discharge. In essence it is a large lawn where everyone can choose their own spot (marked with wooden beams IN the ground). When it is not busy, everyone – except for some antisocial Italians – automatically keeps one empty space in between. Nice place, fairly spacious (unless fully occupied because then you are quite close to each other) and with a reasonably wide view sideways along the river in the valley. Enough trees provide shade in the sun, but do not make it too dark when there is no sun . The noise from the main road, located slightly above, is also not too bad, partly thanks to those trees. Plus: electricity. Melle is a typical small old mountain village - still nice. Great place for a transit trip.

Located at the bottom of the village at approximately the lowest point in the valley (approximately 150m long small asphalt road, quite steeply downwards). Result: internet that cannot be improved upon (at least on our old iPhone SEs via Ben - perhaps better with newer or other providers?). Hm, if it is an experiment/pilot - which I obviously welcome - why doesn't the municipality just have the three overflowing waste bins emptied? And why is an apparently semi-permanent pitch tolerated for an old caravan without a license plate? That way things seem to get messy quickly. But only 2 places (choose yourself, on gravel) have a truly unobstructed view, the others have to look through bushes (not really closed, but still an obstructed view). 3 large picnic tables with a wide view. Maybe it's because of October, but it's windy here, so wear a fleece in the full sun! Standing and unloading is free. The 5 euros for 10 minutes of water or 1 hour of electricity is crazy expensive, and hardly anyone will use it.

Indeed a simple but excellent place (PROVIDED you don't need electricity). When I arrived around sunset, the 6 to 8 campers present were all standing on the almost football field-sized (albeit somewhat bumpy) lawn (so +not++ on the gravel strip). Ideal! No one comes to collect money in the morning. Only in high season??? Sani column is a bit messy (triangular with one side for drinking water, the side next to the drain) but works well. Free! The village has an excellent bakery.

Actually a great place PROVIDED you don't need any facilities. There is shade under the trees, it is certainly quieter on the back village road than along the D94 main road, there is a drinking water tap (not usable for bulk intake, unless with a funnel), the place is official so even gendarmes can help you. Don't be scared away, the view is not great but it is spacious (on an unused flower field & mountain), plus an accessible (swimming?) stream just behind it!

CP in itself OK, very long/spacious so, I assume, always room. Collecting tokens at the Thermal Baths for water is inconvenient but understandable (due to theft from the sanitary column). Discharging is free without tokens. I find it objectionable that you have zero view: valley wall close by on all sides. And therefore almost no wind. Plus only a few places with shade on the CP. Finally, it seemed to me that a number of campers were more or less permanently here, but I could be wrong

Discharging gray water is no problem, it goes through a grate in the road. Water is also available from a tap, but we will only use it for the shower. We do not take any risks when it comes to refilling drinking water bottles because we still have plenty in stock. It is possible to discharge the cassette via the road grate, but this is probably not the intention. The drain intended for cassettes is blocked according to the pasted text, “awaiting repair”. Wondering when that will happen...

BUT: you are IN the city, within WALKING distance of everything you want to see AND the service facilities are excellent. (I don't know about toilets/showers, we use our own.) For the price of 8 euros this is a great place. Like previous reviewers, we were allowed to stand on the paved driveway of the house / yard, due to heavy rainfall (which causes a swampy lawn locally). The camping opposite, Stuvik, is equally overcrowded with hytter but does actually border to the fjord.

Super sanitairy station, especially because it's free. Grey dump works, toilet dump works, fresh water with hose available, but I didn't really trust the hose because too close too toilet dump. You could easily bring your own hose of course (standard gardena adapter). But I skipped that – almost every gas station here will supply utterly safe fresh water for free.

Most Norwegian campings charging 300NOK/night (incl electricity) are waaay overpriced and essentially ripping you off. This is the rare exception, purely because of its breathtakingly magnificent view of the Ranafjord. If you come early enough (in mid August 18.00h was enough!) and get one of the 3 front pitches, you basically OWN the whole fjord. (If not, you can still sit at tables on the pier.)

Beautiful location right in the bend of the river, pitches on grass. However, price is 290 NOK (incl 50 NOK electricity), which doesn't make it any cheaper than the other campings on the road –& closer– to Mo I Rana. Since we had business there the next day, we drove on. Incredibly how price mechanism doesn't appear to work in Scandinavia. Hardly any competition on pricing between campings. Weird.

Of the 3 campsites in Hornnes we found this one the most beautiful. Most places sheltered by trees, on peninsula, with beach on south and west side. Find your own place, pay between 19-20 hours at kiosk. Clean sanitary facilities. Toilet and gray water discharge and drinking water fill well arranged. 2 persons and camper and electricity NOK 240. Shower NOK 20. Only few: Electric boxes are limited, take ALL LANE cable!

5.6 rating is too low! Indeed no amenities, but views are magnificent: on big lawn that flows to beach at bay between rocks. ATM ONLY works on NOK coins, not on paper money. The EasyPark app (note the correct logo like the ATM - there is also an American app with the same name) is currently not suitable for Dutch or Belgian mobile phone numbers (or at least iOS app) at the moment (end of June 2017) . So any payment option is coins. Rate 15 NOK per hour, pay 24/7 = also at night.

Perfect place, simple but adequate, left past the gas station. Put in the road for toilet drain, hose for rinsing and refueling toilet water and separate tap for drinking water. The latter has only a screw thread on it, so you have a self-esteem. Further, just petrol station / parking is right next to the freeway, so not suitable for longer stays. Toilet and water are welcome, free of charge.

From a spacious place right on the water. Magnificent view of bay and suspension bridge to Odense. Water intake at port office is free. Pay by bank transfer and credit card. Toilet loading did not work out, because drain seemed locked, that is, only possible when opening port office, Mon-Fri 08-10h and Thu 15-17. From the camper locations to the toilets / showers / harbor office is indeed a good end, about 5-6 minutes walk.

Great place for transit. Zero facilities except picnic table & trash can. Parking / CP is directly past the Hotel am See (or directly ahead of the other side). Largely sandy, so mud at rain! The advantage here is the idyllic lake (Stoteler See) located 100m behind. Had a great quiet night.

In the category Services Without a good place to stay - with safety: right behind the police station. Signs to cp being now seem (temporarily?) Away, unfortunately. Continue until BEHIND police so. We stood there in transit on 30nov16, when was the announced water + electricity construction still nothing to criticize. Thriving village with some better stores. Scheldt and beautiful views.

Probably a great location for taking water and empty chemical toilets if they are open, which was not possible during the afternoon rest when we arrived - see my photo of the sign on the fence that says when they are open ... It's actually a marina / harbor for small boats, so that they make available to motor home is an afterthought. Overnight not possible.

Nice location, <100m of the River Seine. Approximately in the center of the village, shops within walking distance. Very however impractical that needed tokens for electricity and water - special coins, not coins. They are available from the EPI supermarket, florist or baker in the main street of the village, Rue de Republique. Unfortunately, all closed during the afternoon, until about 16h. Chemical toilet discharge or free.

Great place, if you come on time so you have to place the water (= about 20 places). Well all asphalt and the water closer together than in Norway prevalent. NOK 250 including electricity. NOTE: pay all AFT with toilet block, and NOT to automatic entrance, which is only for the passenger cars parking out front. Alesund itself is WONDERFUL!

Nice place on the water. But from early morning busy road 580 runs unshielded right beside the campsite. Especially suitable for passage so. Reception closes (if I remember correctly) for 21 hours. Small shop, fresh rolls. Sanitary neat clean. NOK 270 (EUR = 30) for 2 people including electricity. Greywater + toilet drain in tight parking spot near the entrance, through not very wide tube, but it works.

Idd agree with all previous writers, plus two observations: 1) If it's busy, as now -July 2016- during Molde Jazz, you see those beautiful mountains only if you want somewhere a 'front row' position. 2) CP turns out to be right under the aanvlieg / landing route from airport Molde: Norwegian jet just came on <100m altitude fly right over! But hey, how many regional landings / day ...?

Concur entirely with all the excellent reviews. Place is top notch with great views. We got there with eight campers instead of the official 4. No problem to be inclined along scaffolding along which you drive. Price still 150 NOK including water + electricity. Toilet drain. Washing + drying for 50 NOK extra. When fully occupied, then CP to Marina Jorpeland, 9km south, a similar alternative.

Outstanding CP! Under construction, but base included: water, electricity, toilets / gray discharge, cpplaatsen on grass. Furthermore nice managers, tram 15 to the center (7-8 min walk) and large space / pasture. Traffic noise from 2 visible highways audible but so monotonous it 's not bother. € 2 pp / night Tourist tax: Too Expensive Hague! Plus super convenient for visitors: only water + bathroom for € 5.

And even more kudos to Zaanstad: they have the blockage of the toilet drain already addressed on the first working day after my message + fixed! So toilet drain is purged, it is clean again (well, for a sewer so) and works again. In short refreshment station W'veer is back in full operation. (But for a nice camper place with nice view should still not be here, of course. :)

Meanwhile I have the blockage of the toilet drain line reported via zaanstad.nl. (Plume for their reporting!) Case Number is 852279. From that site, I understood that the standard for solving sewer blockages max. Three days, ie by Dec 25, the problem should be solved. I will provide updates I receive about the case number, post here.

The GOOD news: water + electricity works fine again. Apparently still software problem with app / dBase-connection, so now reset. The BAD news: toilet drain is blocked (due blown leaves / branches of tree / shrub next to it?) NKC, you can report this through to your contact in ave. Wormerveer? Really needs to be flushed is dirty condition now outdoors. Prick with branch fails.

Unfortunately, both wiring facilities like water supply no longer work. After login per app or via web keep all w / e can drop in status "Occupied", even though I'm really the only one present, and also have a user account. May still winter, or software hickup? Loos Reviews WC and sewage are still usable, but yes, without fresh water you will not get very far.

Excellent location indeed! Very nice view of the river, very nice town (shops within walking distance). Free electricity (courtesy of the municipality of Meuse Luis - thank you!), No water, no discharge, garbage 200m. Only three official places. The night we were there, there was no police / BOA to send the three other way.

Many bad reviews here, but WILL be good place for refueling / emptying. Water works fine via aanuit.net website (AanUit app does NOT include iOS9, hopefully following update). 50ct for 150 ltr, do NOT stop website via crane, unlike other supplements at your expense. Water hose is missing now, no big deal. Toilet drain is neat and clean (nondrink-) water. Well ugly place Idd!

Great place! Bulbs time-pressed seems over. We were there just 1 (Sunday) night between (subsequently estimated) 10 campers. Top Facilities in terms of electricity, water, drainage and sanitation (20ct for neat toilet, themselves do bowl, we found quite reasonable) and temper-at-ge-living friendly reception. The approx 15 grass pitches are the best, with approx 2-3m spacing. Rest in stone and closer together.
