Campsite a good 3km from Leeuwarden. It's an ideal base for us to visit the Frisian city. It's a beautiful campsite where you can find everything you need for a camper. We can endorse all the compliments below. The only minor drawback: the restrooms sometimes smell musty due to limited ventilation. If something could be done to address this, it would be perfect.

Functionally furnished campsite at Crezée Marina. When we were there, it was very quiet, both at the campsite and in the village. The surrounding nature is beautiful. The restrooms could be better. When we arrived in the early afternoon, the ladies' restrooms were showing signs of wear. The next morning, they were still there... A shame, because the restrooms are included in the price. You expect something in return. The restrooms are outdated, but functional.

The welcome was friendly but businesslike. If I could have given it 3.5 stars, I would have. The place is overly romanticized. We were given a pitch in front of the football field, not in the woods. It's a large steel cage overlooking it. Pitches in the woods are very nice, but those pitches aren't. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but clean. Ultimately, I gave it 4 stars because it's close to the sea, in a nature reserve, and 5 km from Åhus.

Anyone willing to pay for their overnight stay needs nothing more: a clean pitch (the best pitches are at the back), a wooden terrace, excellent Wi-Fi, clean and functional restrooms, and a dump station. Nearby, you can go hiking, and there's an ice cream parlor and a small shop. Behind the lodges are also a swimming pool and a restaurant (which we didn't visit).

After visiting the Falun gruva, we stayed overnight. We couldn't find a payment code anywhere. After some searching, you can pay via campingfalun.se. You'll then receive an access code for the sanitary facilities by email. The sanitary facilities are basic but okay. We paid 195SEK. A very quiet night with other campers. You can walk or cycle to Falun. A nice combination with the mine. There's a supermarket nearby.

Lovely idyllic riverside pitch. Barely any amenities except a dry toilet. Pitches by the river are without electricity. It's a lovely spot to stay and cool off in the river. We had a very peaceful night. Payment can be made in cash or via Swich.

We chose this campsite on the recommendation of other campers to visit Stockholm. There are many permanent residents and only a few spaces for campers (reservations are recommended). It's run by volunteers. We didn't find the campsite very welcoming (lots of rubbish). It's nice to be right on the water. The restrooms are fine. You can take bus 681 to Stockholm, followed by bus 670. The 681 service is very limited. You can also walk to the first stop of the 670, but that's 3.5 km away.

Nicely furnished camper place. Close to the Polderwind domain. Various walking and cycling routes available. Clean sanitary facilities and pleasantly furnished. Too bad there is only 1 toilet for women, other toilet space is for the washing machine. Check-in is automatic. Owners come by several times a day.

Friendly welcome with extensive explanation by Pieter. Not a typical campsite. Max 6pl for campers, rest for tents. Clean sanitary facilities and various facilities (swimming pond, hammocks, ...) that you can use. A bit on the expensive side (40€, 2p + sanitary facilities), but if you calculate the facilities, the price is ça va. Within walking distance of the center. At 500m you will find a Delhaize.

Beautiful camper place with all necessary facilities. Basic pitch costs 10€. If you also want to use the sanitary facilities and/or electricity, you pay separately for this. You can choose how many amps you want. Everything spotlessly clean and functionally furnished. Very quiet environment, hardly anything to hear. Very nice initiative set up by campers who know what a camper wants.

After reading the excellent reviews we stopped here. Very friendly welcome by Dominic. Personally we expected a bit more. It is a large site, but we did not find the layout very logical. Sanitary facilities are nice, but I think they were not cleaned in the 2 nights we stayed there. It was very quiet, but no excuse not to clean. Görlitz is 10km away. Okay for a short trip, but not much to see...

Typical city camping with very friendly reception. Receptionist let us choose a suitable place in collaboration. Sanitary seems a bit shabby, but is quite okay. Spacious shower cubicles with toilet and sink. Close to tram stop so you are in the center of Krakow in max 20 minutes. Krakow is a beautiful and clean city. There are indeed planes flying over, but if you use earplugs you will not be bothered by this 😉.

Nice camper place at a B&B. All facilities available. Very friendly welcome by the owner. On day 2 of our stay we got free coffee with fresh pie. Very clean sanitary facilities. You pay 17€/night if you use the sanitary facilities. If you don't, you pay 15€/night. Very correct price! Close to De Groote Peel for walking and cycling.

Very friendly welcome. We were allowed to choose our own spot. Sanitary facilities renewed. Not dirty, but it could be checked and cleaned more often. Campsite that is very quietly situated, in the middle of the greenery where you can spot plenty of 🐿️. Via the Loing you can walk to the town with very beautiful banks! You can go to Fontainebleau by train if you don't have a bike with you. Station at 750m, 2x/hour a train. Chateau is recommended!

Correct 3* campsite. Friendly but businesslike reception. Clean sanitary facilities. Very quiet campsite. Via footpath 1km from Luz-Saint-Sauveur where you have several shops. Ideal to drive up Tourmalet or walk. Several times a week a food truck comes where you can buy food at very democratic prices

Stayed for a week in high season. We got a nice place with a view (looking above the hedge 😉) on the Bay of Biscay. The places are indeed not big, even though we had a standard plot. The ladies at the reception are polite. The sanitary facilities are certainly okay, but we missed a squeegee in the showers to remove the dirt after showering. Restaurant: honest food at a fair price. In high season you have a bus to/from the center 2x/hour for €1.35/ride.

Campsite 7km from Bordeaux. Easily accessible by public transport (bus + tram or walking to tram) or by bicycle. Friendly staff. Maintenance could generally be improved. We were there 2 nights. Barely saw the cleaning crew once and then during the morning rush. The grounds could also be better maintained. OK for us to stay 2 nights to visit Bordeaux. In high season it is necessary to book in advance!

Stayed 1 night at the CP. Quietly located Camping Car near the destroyed town of Oradour-sur-Glane (1km). In the village you will find restaurants, bakeries, pizzerias, ... Spacious and clean pitches. No sanitary facilities. Ideal camper place for us.

We stayed here for 2 nights during Extrema Outdoor. The pitches themselves are reasonable: sufficiently large, but very uneven. The sanitary facilities were a disaster: 2 units for so many people. One block is hopelessly outdated, smelled like hell, no toilet paper and no soap to wash hands.Another look was much more modern, but on day 2 it was just as much of a disaster.Had to pay a lot of money to stand but no equivalent service.There should be something instead

Positives: friendly welcome, nice spacious pitches for campers on gravel, quiet area, close to a bakery that sells delicious bread Negative points: the sanitary facilities: they are cleaned daily with a French stroke, sanitary facilities (behind reception) are somewhat tired, shower water is very hot and cannot be regulated, washing up water is too cold. Reported to reception: it was a known problem that they could not do much about. We found the city disappointing.

Warm welcome by the owner. She had provided a nice spot for us. Already quite full for spring. We ate in the restaurant the first evening. Limited menu, but tasty and affordable! Sanitary facilities quite clean. Shower with warm (not adjustable) water What we missed to give 5*: a washing-up area (we saw people washing dishes in a sanitary area where you can wash your hands, not the intention I think 😉), a tap outside where you can take water.

1 overnight stay on the way south. Well arranged to purchase a card to enter the camper park. We were all alone here. Very quiet at night and during the day. Recommended. Sanitary facilities are not yet open (opened from 1/5).

First stay. Booked after the rave reviews. First weekend of March and almost fully occupied (don't forget to make a reservation!). I agree with the previous reviews. Beautifully landscaped and quiet CP. Clean sanitary facilities and beautiful disposal area. At 750m from Westouter. The only thing we missed was a washing-up area and a separate sink. We will definitely come back!

Stayed one night: very busy during the day due to the Christmas market. Quiet at night. No facilities except rubbish bins or parking. The abbey bells start ringing at 7am. Abbey visited with guide. Id neighborhood possibility for walking (not done due to lack of time). Possibility to eat. Traditional brasserie reminded us of a school refectory. Delicious food without a doubt. The small brasserie is much nicer to sit in, but no hot food.

Stood 1 night. Arrived in the dark. Good for 1 night, not such a nice place in terms of view. Very busy road along CP. Facilities to discharge toilet (pay) and provide fresh water (pay). Parking for 24 hours = €5. The next morning we explored Floreffe. The site with the abbey is worth seeing. Cozy Christmas market on the abbey site.

We were kindly welcomed and received 2 flyers about the campsite and surrounding area. Places are very small. Considering the autumn, the camper pitches were not full. We wonder how to get in and out properly during high season. We have seen several people struggling with larger campers. Sanitary facilities not large but very clean. Knokke-Heist is within walking distance. Carrefour across the street.

Very friendly welcome. You can choose the place yourself. Very large pitches that are well maintained. Renovated sanitary building. Would have expected it to be a bit cleaner given that they insist on cleanliness. We are at the end of August and not so many people anymore, but some things could be cleaner (eg shower tray). You can order sandwiches (only pay in cash). In the neighboring village you have a cozy cafe (In den erpel) and a chip shop.

Beautiful campsite. Some places are very well located, others less so, but it remains a good campsite. Very friendly owners, very clean sanitary facilities. You can cycle / walk directly from the campsite on the Moselle. In the village various drinking and dining options.

Basic campsite. Friendly reception. You can choose a place yourself (even in high season). Fairly large pitches, often slightly sloping. Small swimming pool (not used). Sanitary is really not my thing: no toilet seat, no toilet paper nor soap. Not done after COVID I think. There is a shooting club next to the campsite. You can hear this well during the day. Ideal campsite to visit Laon on foot or by bike (steep slope). Other than that there is not much to do.

Reception was friendly. We were allocated a nice place oh the first part of the campsite. There it is good and fairly quiet on large pitches. The back part is much more on top of each other. Many trees that provide plenty of shade. Take away pizza which was very tasty. Here's the positive part. The sanitary facilities were not really clean. Toilets stank due to frequent use & too little maintenance. Showers not really clean either. Not 4* worthy.

Is open again (17/7/23). Only parked there for a few hours to visit the village. It is (according to us) quiet and idyllic. No facilities except to leave rubbish.

You stay here for 1) the beautiful view of Trouville-sur-mer and/or Le Havre and 2) the fact that you are a 1.5 km walk from the city of Trouville-sur-mer. You take the 'steep' (actually not too bad 😉) climb. You don't stay here for the sanitary facilities: no toilet paper or soap in the toilet, cleaning could be better. Friendly welcome dr owner. Deposit (50€/ID card) with badge. Restaurant od camping: never eaten.

Indeed, the website confirms that the campsite is closed. Very unfortunate because it was cozy and well maintained, which was well filled at the end of August 2021…

Beautiful, wooded campsite. Friendly welcome by receptionist. You will be assigned a seat, but you may choose another one if it is still available. Clean sanitary facilities. One minus: hardly any hot water for washing up. Brasserie serves simple but honest cuisine. Friendly staff in the brasserie. At 10 km from St-Omer and a 1/2 hour walk from Le Blochhaus d' Éperlecques (bunker WWII). Worth visiting!

Separate camper pitches at the front of the campsite. The rest of the campsite are mainly permanent guests in chalets and caravans. Large tractor field for tents. Many facilities for families with children. Friendly welcome by the lady behind the reception. You will receive a SEP card on which you can load credit for the consumption of electricity, hot water for washing and showering, and for discharging waste. You will get the remaining amount back when you return the card.

The campsite leaves a mixed feeling. Positive: everything very clean, close to the forest, dog walking area (don't close the gate or you will barely get outside), 2 km from the center, quiet campsite. Less positive: reception open very limited, women's shower was ice cold and everything was wet, aloof manager. Is not unfriendly but does not come across as cordial.

Pros: nice and quiet area, near a large forest. Owners are friendly and come to clean 1x / day. Grounds are clean and well maintained. At 800m you have a brasserie where you can eat / drink something. Downsides: personally I found 2 showers (including 1 shower and 1 toilet in 1 room) and 2 toilets for 25 campers a bit little. There is also only 1 dishwashing point and this is always waiting for your predecessor to do it.

Quietly located CP a few kms from Ommen. Friendly welcome with short explanation. In principle, you can choose your own seat if no one is there. Proper sanitary. One drawback for us was the abundance of mosquitoes in the evening. We were not far from the pond. Caused by this (standing water)? Mosquito product can be purchased. Could we have done better…

The road to the campsite is idyllic and worth the effort. The campsite itself has a number of regular guests. On arrival we were allowed to choose a place ourselves because there were hardly any people. Shame on the new owners. Campsite is well maintained and clean. Not much to say, but was way too quiet for us. We love peace, but we had never experienced such peace. Hopefully the new owners can make something fun out of it because it has potential.

The best campsite in our road trip through Denmark. A very friendly and personal welcome! Lots of explanation. No fixed places. The manager will designate a place in consultation with you. Super atmosphere and very cozy camping. Many people can stay but you don't get a feeling of mass tourism, but of a warm cosiness. Hillerød within walking distance where you will find everything. Sanitary is super clean, partly because you are not allowed to wear shoes.

Booked in function of a visit to Copenhagen. Fully booked every day, so reservation in high season is recommended (we saw many leave without reservation). Impersonal approach: you will receive an email with all the details about your stay. Practical, but you lose atmosphere that way. Purely functional approach. You only get in at 1 pm sharp. Facilities: ok, but not wow. You can't regulate water showers and it is much too warm. Three min showers for 7DKK.

Beautiful campsite where you can stand in the dunes. We were allocated place 48 on a small field where we were only with a few and were very quickly on the beautiful beach (you also have fields where you are together with a lot). Facilities are ok, especially sanitary is very nice. Reception was friendly but also not cordial. Certainly a good campsite if you like the crowd, not if you like small-scale.

Friendly welcome by Thorben. On arrival (Friday afternoon) it was quite busy. We could only choose from a few more free places. For us a very beautiful and quiet area in the middle of nature. For 2p, 2 nights with electricity: 698DKK. Not cheap, but the environment, camping equipment & friendly hosts are worth it. The cafe is open. Didn't eat anything myself, but saw guests who ate there. Sanitary ok but basic.

Well organized motorhome. We had never seen a motorhome of this size. Beautiful & clean sanitary facilities. Personally, I think 1 sanitary building for such a large site & glamping tents is a bit too little. Charge the card sufficiently at the start so that you can shower and pay electricity (if desired). Very quiet area. 15km from Rømø. Marsk tower, mini golf and restaurant/café at the front of the site.

Nice and neat campsite. Brasserie with simple and affordable dishes. Sanitary was clean but 2 things bothered me: 1) toilet no toilet paper, nor soap or towels / dryer to dry your hands - 2): shower with shower coins where the unused water continues to flow and you can not turn it off. You can also regulate the temperature nt, it was much too hot for me. Good base for visiting Malmedy, walking and cycling.

Very quiet mini campsite. We were allowed to choose our own place. Just sanitary (2 toilets, 2 showers and 1 sink). Places are well maintained. Reception by Saskia was friendly. The sheep are divine animals 😉. Westdorpe in itself is not much. Located at walking and cycling junctions. At 100m (crossing from Wandelnode 34 to 33) from restaurant De Baeckermat (tasty and affordable).

Campsite located in the village of Beaufort. Close to several shops and restaurants. Several beautiful walks start from the campsite (don't underestimate them!). Cycling is also possible, but make sure you are in good condition or an e-bike. You can also rent bicycles or camping. Very nice and clean sanitary facilities. Four different sanitary buildings. We were on a square behind the large campsite, not a great view, but quiet.

Proper motorhome. Handy for us (working person who can only leave during the weekend md camper) that you have to book in advance. Definitely place if you arrive on a late Friday night. Very clean sanitary facilities. Two downsides: no hot water to wash dishes and no benches to sit on. There are many grass strips between the places, it would be great if there were picnic benches to sit outside for a while.

Camper place where you can choose where you stand: on the grass or on the pebbles. Nicely maintained field. Very quiet. No facilities available except to discharge. Owner comes by in the evening to take bread order to pick up the next morning. I don't know very well how people keep track of who stands for how long and who has already paid, but honesty lasts the longest. No exact departure times provided.

Beautifully renovated city campsite. All necessary items (sanitary, unloading places, taking water, ...) are available. Proper sanitary. Friendly welcome. Very convenient for us that you can arrive late and only have to leave on the day of departure at 4 pm. That way you have another day to spend in the area. Only downside: very few electricity connection points. Make sure you are close if you don't have a long cable with you.

Friendly welcome by owners. We could choose from 2 pitches: we chose this one with a beautiful view of the fields. Very nice and warm sanitary building. Ordered breakfast on Sunday and delivered on time. Ample. At a good 2 km walk from Sluis. Not far from bike paths. Beautiful area to explore! The price is not less, but we have paid this with great pleasure. We'll be back for sure!

Large, clean campsite. Many permanent holidaymakers in cottages or caravans with a seasonal pitch. We were there with some campers. Little inspiration. Good for 1 night, but not for us for a longer period. Friendly welcome without much extra explanation. In high season it will be busy with a swimming lake and brasserie.

Beautiful, small-scale campsite. Just sanitary. We stayed there at the end of August and yet it was very busy. Second night fully booked (people turned away). Tasty and free tasting. Frédéric can appear sullen (especially when he's on his own), but he's not the worst. His wife is very cordial. We had a wonderful stay. Make sure you have enough food with you, because to reach a shop you have to cycle / walk (hilly).

A clean & quiet campsite with friendly managers. Camping with a 'mixed' audience: number of permanent pitches, but many places left for tents and campers. We got a place ah water (no 87): fantastic! Sanitary facilities and clean. Brasserie where you can drink something. In Bohan several restos, as well as a small supermarket. Walks leave in the village. Make sure you have good walking shoes (steep)

Family campsite with beautiful sanitary facilities. The campsite was busy (even in COVID-19 times). Therefore not always the quietest campsite. Located near walking route to the pink granite coast. Lots of amenities. Several restaurants. Le Rano (pancakes) is definitely recommended in terms of price, service and friendliness). No use of the wifi (paying). Friendly reception by the reception.

Quiet and neat campsite near one of the most beautiful villages in France (les plus belles villages de France). Friendly reception.Dame gives tips how to walk to Sainte-Suzanne and where to eat. We were allowed to choose our place ourselves. We were the only camper that night (26-27 / 7). Different people with tents. Sanitary was basic, but clean. Beautiful area for walking / cycling.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite a stone's throw from Mont-Saint-Michel. Different types of places behind Hotel Vert. Do you like to walk? Go on foot to the famous attraction. 20 min walk and you are on the spot. A shop for basic needs is nearby. Sanitary closed due to COVID-19. Discharge is possible.

Basic campsite with very friendly owners. Because of Corona, no use of the sanitary facilities. Located via the Damse Vaart at 6km from Damme and 4km from Sluis. Be sure to visit the charming Hoeke church. Plenty of waffle and cycling opportunities id neighborhood.

Clean camper place at 1km from the center. Book in advance in winter to be able to enter the motorhome (you will receive a code to enter the sanitary facilities). Nice and fairly quiet area. Close to large AH and restaurants. The only downside is the sanitary block. Is (certainly in winter) quite far from the camper pitches. Hardly any use made since it was not heated.

City camping located ah beach of St. Anneke. Sad looking campsite, reception barely staffed. Good for a visit to Antwerp, given the camp site is close to the St. Anna stop, vd waterbus. Small 10 minutes later you get off in the old part of Antwerp. Not recommended for a longer stay. Sanitary old & tired. No use made of v. People also live at the campsite even though they are not allowed.

Nice, quiet and very neat campsite close to the center of Clervaux. We spent the weekend of November 1-3, 2019 at the campsite. Due to the rainy weather, the camper place ad river was very soggy. This was the only downside. Sanitary very clean. Friendly owners who provide you with the necessary explanation upon arrival. Clervaux is nearby. Small, cozy town. Many cycling and walking options.

Nice campsite close to the center of Ypres (about 1.5 km). We made use of camper pitches. Reserved in advance, you could check in online at the time. Handy if you cannot arrive during reception opening hours (fairly limited). Camping / camper pitches well maintained. Sanitary clean but fairly rudimentary (reminiscent of sanitary in a swimming pool). Supermarkets id neighborhood.

Stayed 1 night on the return trip from the Ardèche to Belgium. Friendly welcome by a young girl. Reception and store in 1 room. Shop offers only essential items (drinks, ice creams, care products, canned food). Sanitary fairly clean, but outdated. Don't forget to bring your toilet roll. Lukewarm washing water. Good WiFi! More ad across the street.

Camperplace in peace. Nicely maintained and equipped with all basic comfort: showers, toilets, free WiFi, washing places and a chemical toilet discharge. All this for 15 € / n for 2pers. Very friendly owner comes to greet you personally. On arrival you write down all basic information on an envelope and put your money in it. Kees😉 is ready.
