We thoroughly enjoyed this small-scale, simple campsite with a friendly owner in a beautiful wooded area. You can pick out your own (unmarked) spot, and since it wasn't busy, we simply had decision fatigue 😊. But what a location if you love peace and nature! Sanitary facilities are simple but clean and fresh. There is a simple bistro on the campsite and a bakery in the village (within walking distance).

Cold water for washing dishes, old sanitary facilities (broken) and not clean. Train passing by the campsite, noise from the highway, not a quiet campsite. No, we are driving on tomorrow. Also, a positive point: Mont Blanc and the lake are fantastic. Lots of trees on the campsite, pitches are spacious. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the lake or come near it, only the outer (walking) ring. The boy in the restaurant is very friendly.

Well-organized city campsite with reasonably spacious pitches and good water and electricity supply. We found the sanitary facilities outdated and insufficiently clean (May holiday), accessible via a large staircase. Unfortunately, I did not get a warm, cozy (campsite) feeling upon check-in. Small town with restaurants and bakery within walking distance (10 min), supermarkets (20 min walk). Train to Heidelberg within walking distance. Pizza baker divino-pizza.de is highly recommended!

Great, small campsite in a beautiful (walking) area. Nice, spacious sanitary facilities, friendly owner. We arrived on a busy day and still got a spot in a sort of parking lot. That was fine for us for 2 days. There is a bread service and a gas station with a small supermarket a 20-minute walk away. Municipal swimming pool within walking distance.

Beautiful, quiet campsite with spacious pitches. Pleasant welcome from a friendly Dutch-speaking lady at reception. There is a bread roll service, a laundromat, and a nice and clean sanitary building. Within walking distance of the town of Werheim with plenty of dining options, and for groceries, you have Lidl and DM ‘around the corner’. We added an extra day because we found it a lovely spot (by the water).
