Apparently, a lot can change in a year. Only the “tractor museum” was still there. Signed up by email and received a reply that we could pick a spot near the washhouse because the owner was not present. He did indeed come by to settle the €30 bill and left again; he lived elsewhere. No reception anymore, and no hot water for washing dishes. Shower €1. The campsite mainly consisted of permanent pitches. A boring, deserted place. Moving on quickly this way..

Beautiful spot right on the Rhine. Stayed here for 2 nights. Received a super warm welcome. Everything was well taken care of. In the morning, daily traffic starts passing by early, which can sometimes be annoying. Thanks, Torben and Renata!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Just read back the reviews; nothing to add... Unless it's the cycling route via Komoot that Matthias created himself. A beautiful tour of over 30 km, including the longest bicycle tunnel in Germany. Short but sweet: highly recommended!

Nice campsite right on the Rhine, just outside the city. We got a nice place 10 meters from the water. Sanitary very dated but clean in itself. Must mention that the campsite was just open again a few days after super high water. Has been 1.5 meters under water so a mega job to get things in order. The camping owner really does everything he can to achieve this together with his wife. Respect for these nice people!
