A beautiful bay with a few taverns and where you can enjoy a lovely swim.

It didn't become a 5-star rating because the man at reception kept refusing to give an ACSI discount. Eventually, after much discussion, we got the discount. Otherwise, it is a fine campsite with strange, dated sanitary buildings. Naturally, you aren't at the front; that's where the regulars are, ensuring their income. A fine place to stay for one night.

A little piece of paradise on earth; don't expect Wi-Fi, white sandy beaches, or clean toilets. It is a beautiful place where you can unwind. The black sand is due to basalt and serpentine materials. We ate in the village; the people were super friendly and the food was delicious. And fellow camper, clean up as much trash as possible and leave the spot even more beautiful than it was.

Small-scale, cozy campsite right by the sea. Reception, a small shop with everything you need, and a nice terrace with a bar upstairs at the entrance to the sea. Very friendly people and the cleaning: at least 3 times a day I see a lady busy with buckets cleaning the 2 toilet blocks. Top notch!! Good washing machine and dryer available by inserting coins. Spacious pitches with plenty of natural shade from trees.

Beautiful spot on the beach next to a seafood restaurant where you can eat really well. If you are staying here, it is polite to go for a meal; use of the restaurant toilet is possible. A nice cold shower on the beach.

We were lucky to get a spot in the shade, but if you're unlucky, you'll all be standing in the full sun. The owners are super nice, the restaurant is really lovely, and the swimming pool (actually baths) is large and nice. The sanitary facilities are very outdated but are kept spotlessly clean; however, they still felt dirty. The rating is actually between a 3 and a 4, rounded up because the young owners worked very hard.

It is indeed heaven on earth, a really beautiful place. The pitches are a bit sloped, though; the leveling legs had to be raised quite high. The pitch is difficult to find because its location is not indicated at the front. The sanitary facilities are fine, although it does feel uncomfortable to enter the house. Friendly young man from the Netherlands; payment can be made in cash in euros.

I would rate the place itself 6 stars, but I give the restaurant slightly fewer, leaving an average of 4 stars. We were here two years ago as well, and the restaurant was much better then; the view remains priceless.

quiet place next to sports field. lots of greenery around it and birds. walk to village within 10 minutes. had a nice pizza there. for β¬8 without electricity, waste bins and possibility to empty toilet this is recommended for an overnight stay while traveling.

spacious large green parking lot. The camper is level so the ramps can remain in the cover. for a reasonable price delicious food at the restaurant Fischerhutte which is a 3 minute walk.

The place is really great and you can use a shower and toilet of the accompanying restaurant. The place itself is free and you are on a large field next to the river. There are also horses walking around but they are not in trouble. The restaurant is not really cheap but to compensate for a free place with shower and toilet... It is not mandatory to eat at the restaurant but it is polite.

It was a great parking lot close to the beautiful town of Idstein. Within 10 minutes walk you are in the town. We were after 18:00 so VVV was closed, money (β¬10) transferred according to the instruction.

April 13, 2024: campsite is closed, it is stated on an A4 sheet on the fence. Possibly it will open later in the year? there are many camper spots and parking spaces for campers in this village. I'm afraid the campsite couldn't keep up with the competition...

location is really great. we stood on the edge near the stairs to the beach. The photo posted is the view of the sea at sunrise from my camper bed. no electricity needed and we paid β¬34 for 2 people on September 14. village is within walking distance. sanitary facilities are adequate. washing dishes only with cold water appears not only here but at many campsites in Spain...

spacious campsite. good and clean sanitary facilities. On 8-9-23 we paid β¬25 for 2 people including β¬4 tax upon presentation of the ASCI discount card.

What a well maintained campsite. lots of greenery and privacy. owner very friendly and helpful. spacious pitches at 9 minutes (real) walking distance from the sea. recommended this campsite.

The place is great. we got a place right on the sea. Plumbing quite dilapidated but we have not used it.

We were allowed to stay here for 2 nights, ideal for exploring the area by bicycle. At the moment they are adjusting the campsite, so there is some excavation work. The camper place was very spacious and paved and close to a heated sanitary building. Not all showers or toilets were open, but because there were few others, it was not disturbing. Sanitary facilities were very clean, toilet paper available, showering was a pleasure with delicious hot water.

seemed ideal here a place only for campers. not so: unfriendly man at the reception busy counting money made us wait in minutes. key collection & return for toilet and shower with cold water in dirty, old, dark building. Doesn't seem like a disaster but the unfriendly man was again busy counting money and made us wait again. left within 15 minutes: β¬3! didn't say a word and he can add it back to his money.

On arrival the staff was very friendly and we got a nice place (hence still 2 stars). There are many regular guests at this campsite who are quite noisy. The toilet and shower are really very dirty, it is very outdated. The toilet smells unbelievably like piss. This is so far the least fun campsite that we have come across.

very surprised at the low price of β¬25 per night the first week of September: spacious pitches. screened by olive trees and other greenery that is well maintained. flat surface. 2 pools and very friendly staff. 5 minutes by bike from the beach. Clean sanitary facilities and luxurious showers with good hot and firm water jets. in short: a very reasonable price for this luxury campsite and great lactation close to the sea.

On arrival (without reservation) there was no place at this campsite, but they still had room on a field 100 meters away. We were accompanied by the owner to a beautiful quiet place. They have recently created an extra place for motorhome or caravans near their campsite. It is a nature campsite but has all the facilities you could need (electricity and water on site). Plumbing is simple, clean but adequate.

a really nice campsite where you can stand nicely with your camper. close to white sandy beaches. reception is not occupied but if you press the bell in front of the gate, someone will come running from the house nearby. Friendly owner, nice clean places, super clean sanitary facilities. everything is furnished in an ecological way. highly recommended

beautifully situated. '1 storey' higher than loch level giving stunning views of the bay. Very hospitable welcome at the last available spot that day, even though it was only 3.15 pm. Apparently everyone has booked in advance so we were lucky as non-bookers. Modern, clean toilet and shower, good hot water. On the recommendation of the owner, we ate at the 'Schhieldaig Bar & coastal kitchen', just a 5-minute walk away.

Wake up wonderfully from your bed with a view of the water and the beautiful skies that come over the mountains. Paved spacious spots and plenty of grass in between. no 'little bit'. Quiet campsite. Many (bus) campers but no crowds. Plenty of toilets and showers with hot water. Good water pressure. Walking distance to supermarket, shops and harbor. Very friendly and hospitable welcome.

+ within walking distance of the center. Very friendly man at the reception who provided a map to walk to the center via a beautiful route through a park. -Rules that children do not hang out all day in a shower building and an old shower building is fine by me. It is certainly not fine that I cannot take a decent shower for Β£22 (without electricity). The water DROPs out of the shower and even the tap rumbles from the wall. Worthless and I don't complain easily!!

within a few minutes cycling in the center of Bruges. The underfloor heating in the clean sanitary facilities: great for camping in the winter. access on license plate also works fine and as the WiFi. Didn't see anyone from the campsite during our 3 day stay. Wasn't necessary either. The 'grass' we stood on was quite muddy but yesβ¦. it's February and that grass will grow back quickly when spring comes. conclusion: nice neat campsite.

Perfect place to stay, super friendly owners. A small but very clean sanitary building. Perfect base for cycling and hiking. Close enough to cities to eat well. This is really a must for motorhomes who also love camping. You hear the road but it is absolutely not disturbing.
Sitecode: 53204
Nice little farm campsite from a hard working family. Farm full in operation. Nicely clean and solid toilet block. Nice base also for walking and cycling routes. Gulpen within walking distance for plenty of choice of restaurants and terraces.
Sitecode: 8282
Beautiful paved campers. Without leveling wedge or leg. Tight to the sea. Beach and dunes beautifully maintained and even prams and wheelchairs can ride along the beach on wide hardwood decking which have been tight. Clean, spacious and modern plumbing. Friendly hostess at the counter. Walk from the small town of Petten. β¬ 24.87 including steam and taxes.

Great location on the harbor on the outskirts of Hoorn. We had (as did several neighbors) overlooking the harbor. Within walking distance of the lively center with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Clean and modern plumbing. Price includes Wi-Fi.
