Was closed in April 2026, but is now open again. 100m from the sea. Right in the center. Nice boulevard. Feels safe, lots of campers, nice for a day trip.

The campsite reopened on March 27, 2026, apparently taken over by the Alannia group. This group has 7 locations in Spain, all with entertainment during the high season.

A fine free overnight spot, close to main roads, indeed without facilities, although the greywater disposal point is still there. There is no sign indicating a campervan site, but the place is used as such. Wonderfully quiet, no traffic, close to the historic centre and several restaurants. Nice benches with a beautiful view of the Loire.

I didn't use this campervan site myself, but I did note down the details and took photos. Everything looks neat and quite new. It is located right next to the boulevard, so right next to the beach. It is situated between Bénicassim and Castellanó de la Plana. Many amenities are available. Not expensive. Virtually no shade.

Beautifully landscaped and well-maintained garden by the large swimming pool. Good restaurant with a nice view. Large campsite shop. Located along a main road; pitches further back are not affected by it. There are no chairs or sunbeds by the pool, so always bring your own chair. The excess of 4 kWh of electricity per day is not included.

Please note: large-scale construction activities are taking place right next to the campsite, which are expected to continue for some time. We were woken up by them every morning. Partly due to this, but also because of the ground, the campsite is very dusty. Otherwise, it is a beautiful campsite with fun activities for (small) children, but it is primarily geared towards Spanish visitors. There are beautiful swimming pools with multiple slides. Good campsite shop.

A real transit campsite. Nice large swimming pool with (too few) sun loungers. Old, poorly maintained sanitary facilities. The village is within walking distance. Wi-Fi was available but never worked while we were there.
