So there are 2 camper sites at Oceanopolis: an official one with Campercontact number 79971, and this one. This is a regular parking lot where you can park overnight; during the day until Oceanopolis closes, there is limited space. The excellent bakery is across the street (30 meters) and also has a tearoom, serving crêpes among other things, with generous opening hours.

The camper site has apparently been moved; it is no longer at the shipyard, but closer to the entrance of Oceanopolis (GPS coordinates in Campercontact have since been updated). According to the sign (see photo), the site is closed at night, but we did not notice this. The gate to close the parking area was broken.

Friendly receptionist (explained everything well), beautiful spacious pitches, nice swimming pool (unfortunately too cold to swim), nice sanitary facilities, boiling hot dishwashing water, sea view. Through a gate to a small town 1.5 km away. Concerneau has a picturesque medieval walled town ("Ville close") and a large marina. Beautiful area for cycling or boating trips.

Great place for just an overnight stay. At the back, you are parked next to and overlook a beautiful cemetery, and you can also sit behind the camper. It is quiet there; when we were there, there were only 3 campers. The bus is a 4-minute walk away and takes you to the center of Le Havre. However, it was not possible to buy tickets on the bus. Next to the town hall is a ticket machine for bus tickets (valid for 1 hour).

Retrieved from the submitter: Beautiful new spot. Cycling and walking at the start of the beautiful route to Alcalà del Jucar. Just after the river, follow the 3218 signs to the left and then after 250 m on your right. GPS positioning in Campercontact may not be entirely accurate yet.
