It can get quite noisy during the day because the road is popular with motorcyclists, many of whom have modified their exhaust systems. It becomes pleasantly quiet in the evenings. The large expanse of asphalt is certainly not a pretty sight.

I found the place a bit dreary. Now in summer there's absolutely no shade, especially not in the designated area for motorhomes.

The spot isn't particularly romantic, but it's practical. There are water and waste disposal facilities, trash cans, and even a toilet block. And the old town is a 10-minute walk away. What really bothers me is the noise level. The Gernsbach sports car drivers seem to appreciate the nearby road for short bursts of acceleration. I hope it gets significantly quieter at night.

A truly remarkable place. Besides the car park, there are large, tree-lined meadows where campers are sometimes more, sometimes fewer. Direct access to the Rhine is only possible through the swimming pool during opening hours. The nearest public access to the river is 1 km to the north.

I wanted to register by phone and learned that it's not possible to park a motorhome there.

The seats are indeed uneven, and the location right in front of the bridge construction site isn't exactly romantic. It wasn't worth €19 to me.

No fresh water, no wastewater disposal, no trash can – the operator seems to assume that motorhome owners are easily satisfied. The €11.50 fee doesn't quite match what's offered.

The square is certainly not romantic, but very large, centrally located and surprisingly quiet at night.

Apparently, the campsite has been moved, because what I found bears no resemblance to the photos. At the end of an unpaved track, there's a bay large enough for two campervans. And on the drive here, I found far more beautiful views than this one...

At the end of November, there were no "no camping" signs, and four motorhomes were already parked there. Beautiful location close to the sea and next to the dunes. However, the site is quite sloped, and I almost got stuck in the sand on a relatively level spot.

The site is located in a beautiful landscape. A mandatory meal ist offered. We chose the breakfast buffet for Dh200 per person - the pitch was free. The quality and selection of the food is excellent, much of it is home-made. The host is friendly and helpful, and we could use the shower in the main house and fill up with water at no extra cost. Even a free washing machine load would have been included. I will be back next year.

After heavy rainfall, road conditions of the last 6km seemed not acceptable for my Ducato, and I skipped the visit. In any case be sure to access Kasbah via Sania/N11. The R314 via Douar Lahrach is in a catastrophic condition.
