All the previous comments are spot on! Absolute peace and quiet; everything you need is there. Organic toilets with peat (also available in the Alpine huts); here you can find Latvian serenity. What if the lively farmer improves the stream a bit?

Caution: If you're cycling to Gdansk's Old Town, there's only one motorway bridge (forbidden to cycling) and one other: this one is closed!! Turn right before the bridge, then left after 100 meters (yellow arrow), then take the free ferry across the river! This is the only connection to the Old Town!

10.5.24: Campsite 75% occupied: but only 2 men's toilets open - remaining containers/toilets all closed!!?? What's going on?? For this price there should at least be enough toilets open!! But: monopoly position; only place in the valley 😫😫😫

Very good camping on the outskirts of town; quiet (below cemetery!); just take a taxi to Tangier (2 euros); everything available. Attention: The driveway is very steep - engage 1st gear; Camping is on the LEFT as the old site on the right is being rebuilt.

Great parking space in the middle of nature; Just 20 minutes by bike to the center of La Rochelle. 10 euros is a fair price - it's a shame there's no toilet; would also pay more. Place is brand new (2023); lots of animals - interesting for children.
