It's actually a good spot; we like to stay here every few years. The only criticism, which no one mentions but is important, is that there's no recycling. Everything goes into one large container. In this day and age, where more consideration is valued, especially among campers and campsite owners, this is unacceptable! The residents in the village have four different recycling bins.

I agree with the positive reviews. Pleasant campsite, fun decor, friendly owner. Beer garden available, renovations are okay, gas exchange possible. Ideal for sightseeing, visiting the fortress, and cycling...highly recommended! Reasonable price!

Well, reviews are subjective, but at least we're on a clean campsite with hedges. The new building has recycling facilities, a spotless toilet, and a sparkling shower – what more could you expect? Budget guesthouses are more expensive. It's a charming little town worth seeing, right on the Elbe Cycle Path!

Great parking space with a view of the Elbe River. €12, no electricity, waste disposal at a separate station in the parking area above, please have €1 ready. We'll be back!

Absolutely fine. Inexpensive, please have €1/2 coins ready. Electricity meter: €2 for 8 hours. Garbage bins were empty, but the labeling is confusing, as it's unclear to many what goes in which colored bin. A request to the operator: Clear information should be posted on the bins. The toilet flush needs repair. Good points: Great bike tours on the Weser Cycle Path and a one-day city tour.

Nice spot for a short stop, €7 per night plus tourist tax. Quiet, but sometimes cars or spa visitors park there. No waste disposal facilities, rubbish can be disposed of there. Still great if you're visiting the thermal baths.

Very spacious pitches and parking spaces. The site is very well-maintained. If there were more electricity meters, it would be 5 stars! The absolutely clean bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, and plenty of hooks and shelves also deserves 5 stars! 5 stars for the magnificent view of the Weser River and the town itself. Ideal for cycling tours and a charming little town! We'd love to come back!!

A quiet, idyllic spot right next to the charming old town. The layout is unclear, but if you communicate with each other, motorhomes can park behind you wherever there's space. It's a minor complaint, but a guesthouse costs more. The only downside: there are only a few electrical outlets, and they're usually occupied. I didn't find any recycling facilities. This should be improved.

Recommended for €10. No facilities, just passing through. Quiet, safe night, slight motorway noise. Opportunity for a walk by the lake, restaurant, beer garden – all nicely laid out.

We spent three nights here and felt very comfortable. Quiet at night, bathrooms always clean! The ladies at reception were helpful and friendly. There's no beach, but it's nice to stroll along the promenade, or it's a 3-minute walk to the old town.

Clean parking space, unfortunately only 8 power sockets. Mobile homes are parked all over the place, unfortunately also private cars. The operator should invest a few euros in marking the space. Lakes and Potsdam are easily accessible by bike, great cycle paths. Will be back! Tip: maybe a box with Potsdam/Berlin information at the site

Free, lots of space, occasional train noises, no VE, partly gravel/grass. We were in an ideal spot because everything in Leipzig was full this weekend. Tip: Sauna by the lake, Markkleeberger See!
