Lovely campsite where delicious meals are cooked for you over a wood fire. Features beautiful showers, washing-up facilities, and compost toilets. Everything is tastefully done. Within walking distance of Firle, an authentic village with a nice pub and a shop from grandma's time. However, there are no facilities to empty toilets and/or grey water. Back to basics. Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

Excellent campsite, beautiful places and beautiful views of the river and valley. Near the Elan Valley (for walking or cycling to the water reservoirs; by bike 13 km one way) and the visitor center. Cheerful, funny and helpful manager who also arranged a nice place for us on the 2nd day despite an overcrowded campsite due to Bank Holiday.

A very nice experience. Indeed a simple campsite in a beautiful location, but with a surprisingly nice and tasty restaurant with organic cuisine. Sympathetic owner and simple but effective sanitary facilities. Access road is a bit exciting when there are oncoming traffic (not the case with us). A bit of a start-up but highly recommended if you want something different...

After 2 years we wanted to return to this beautiful place. I was spoken to in a rude manner by the owner. Skip this place from now on. Forget our 2018 tip!

Excellent campsite, on the cycle path for Annecy (5 km) and possibly round around the lake. Nice bread. Excellent sanitary facilities. 1 downside: no toilet paper in the toilets. Furthermore, very nice reception staff.

Great campsite. Beautiful views. Use the washing machine for a symbolic amount of 1 Franc.

Beautifully situated on the beach and within walking distance of Mandel. Shower with pre-paid tickets makes tn bit complicated. Shop on the campsite (expensive). But supermarket Extra within walking distance. Nice village and we have eaten a nice pizza at Smoi.

Very nice city camping. Modern decor and well organized. Within walking distance of Stavanger. Located on a lake for a nice round of running and a nice swimming pool next door. Supermarket within walking distance. Stavanger is one nice place to visit.

Very practical location with one naturally laid out campsite. Excellent place to climb the Preikestolen. Also helicopter flight made in the evening. Very nice to see what you have climbed that morning. Costs 50 per person. Nice reception / restaurant. The menu is brief. A number of staff members behind the reception did not always seem interested.

Nicely situated campsite close to the very touristy Flam. Went up by train and cycled down with the MTB. Very nice. Beer tasting done in the pub / brewery, cozy. Free museum about the creation of the railway line: was interesting.

Nice campsite with owners who really want to make something of it. Good sanitary facilities including dishwashers 😁. Fresh sandwiches and croissants in the morning. Freshly baked fries on request in the evening. Fishing possibility at 500 meters. Visited the village of Hol by bike. Is simple, but good Kiwi supermarket. Walk to one waterfall 8 km away. We did not do that but I think it is very beautiful.

Lively campsite with hilarious layout for toilet use. Were beautiful on the lake. Va camping made the walk to the Bru Glacier. Spectacular but definitely worth doing. The town of Odda is cozy. Point of attention is certainly the kitchen. Far too few washing places and no hot water. The kettle had to be used for this.

Beautifully situated campsite with super nice sanitary facilities. We were left in front of the restaurant on the lake. Fishing was successful. Our intention was to use the hot tub but we had beautiful weather. 2 walks leave from the campsite. Little washing up place.

Super nice campsite on the water. Cheap too. N beach with n rockery where the owner has been creative with n fire bowl and benches, n picnic table from the wind. Why not 10? Those coins for the shower never get used. Had no 10 crowns coin early in the morning. Stupid of course.

Good campsite, nice reception, nice location. Downside is sanitary. Not efficiently laid out. Someone who brushes his teeth for a moment, occupies a shower and toilet.

Great campsite. Reception a bit stiff but information was good. Only campsite near Balestrand, where we have made a mini glacier tour to Fjaerland. Super worth it.

Top spot. Free RV site with nice reception and nice view. Not too crowded and nice village within walking distance. Near chairlift which is convenient to go to a nice mountain hut where many walks start. The only condition is that one eats in the restaurant but card is versatile with something for everyone. Also electricity pole but do not know if there are costs involved. We are coming back.

Efficient camping for transit. Directly on the beach. Good shop. Restaurant looked ok with the restaurant of the hotel as an alternative. Both have not tried. Warm big showers but there was not really clean. We were disturbed by the noise of the karaoke evening and / or disco.

Great place. We chose one spot right by the sea. Sufficient shade. Clean and effective sanitary. 2.5km to the village of Vieste. Great restaurant and supermarket next to the campsite.

Great place. Every 2 hours a shuttle bus to the village from the campsite. Nice pool to cool down ff. Clean sanitary. Friendly staff. Idd comes with tourist tax, but we paid for 1 night € 19.- with 2 and our van.

Wanted to go here last week, but they did not want to sell us a ferry ticket, because you have to stay there for at least seven days. The campsite owner wanted to cooperate, but Pelde as a fuss. So the bus left in Milazzo and taken a B & B. This only for information. No more at the campsite. Vulcano certainly nice for a few days

Yesterday been in Doonbeg. Service area was a bit messy and secluded. Yet only at the Strand Camping. Very warm welcome, new owners did their very best. Good, clean facilities with creative solutions. No chemical toilet (came this year) but tank emptying and filling clean water.

Just stood two nights. Simple but excellent site. Friendly welcome. Folk Park, Castle and Durty Nelly are worthwhile.
