In Benilloba itself, there's a delicious, traditional Spanish restaurant, El Casino, where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch inexpensively. A few kilometers further on, in Alcoy and Cocentaina, you'll find all the major shops. Oh yes, and the last stretch of the climb is manageable even with a trailer weighing almost 1000 kg.

Place feels spacious with beautiful views when you are at the top. At night it is very quiet. The two places to empty the cassette were downright dirty!!! The water hose 40 cm next to it. I will never get water here.

Very friendly owner and staff, and had a delicious pizza. There is a terrace, pizzeria, beer shop, a beautiful environment, the camper place neatly laid out at the back of the building. There are cars, rental tables and benches etc. but that did not bother us.

After two days of sitting in the dark and cold during the weekend because of a defective household battery, I luckily found Carlo. I could come right away, Carlo explained to me why my battery had broken down, and that it was the wrong type of battery. I got a temporary battery from him, they immediately looked for a good battery and that was also ordered right away. Super and expert help from Carlo…. and furthermore a very nice environment.

A very beautiful place. You only hear the wind in the trees. You can empty the toilet cassette near the street, then go up the mountain and back down after the gravel area. The "reception" is on the right of the large building. The showers and toilets are also there. You have to enter the number of nights yourself (press the same button a few times in a row, then pay contactless). Then a little further up you can take drinking water.

We were guests of Robert and Ingrid for six days. and yes, during the day you can hear the road a bit, but in the evening and at night it is super quiet. It is a beautiful and natural environment, where you can see deer, fish and moose when you go for a walk. There is always a fire burning with a kettle above it, so hot water is always available. And in the evening around the fire looking at the stars….

It's great that a municipality arranges such a place. OUTRAGEOUS that there are people who empty their toilet cassette 1.5 meters next to the clean water tap on the edge of grass and shrubs. What a dirty sight. I sprayed this pervert's mess further into the bushes with my water hose and cleaned the tap with chlorine. A great place to spend the night. And next time, if I come from the south, I would not follow the route planner, but only leave at exit Til Chatel number 5. Then it is another 9 kilometers to the place. Otherwise you have to follow the D903bis for 38 kilometers from the south Dijon ring road. Especially that last part, in the dark you are constantly blinded by oncoming traffic, so you cannot see the road properly.

Drove here on the way to Zeeland. I put the camper down and registered. I then saw on the information board that you had to stand at one of the poles with the camper sign, we were not there. However, after 10 minutes the camper left for us. We put our motorhome forward and were happy with that. After half an hour the previously departed camper came back and claimed this place again because they had registered it…..

We are back in Peralada in January for the fourth year in a row. Something has changed: there are height restrictions and therefore the majority of the parking area is no longer accessible for most motorhomes. I think buses up to 2 meters should work. A Guardia Civil officer directed us and two other motorhomes to the area reserved for motorhomes. The rest may therefore no longer be used.

We stayed at Ton and Marijke's for five weeks and had a wonderful time there. What a difference with placing the camper on gravel where every piece is full. There is space, peace and nature. Ton and Marijke are very friendly, think along, offer help and are always up for a chat (or eating outside together) ... Highly recommended for people who are not looking for a standard place ...

With our Quattro driveway blocks we got our camper reasonable right. If you have a large wheelbase (with me it is 3.30 m) it will be difficult here. After us came two larger campers, but they left because the terrain is so sloping ...

A sloping parking lot near a beach. With the Quattro drive up to the end, my camper was still skewed. During the day and in the early evening, parents come with children to swim in the fjord. In the night it is super quiet. Super relaxing view. A toilet is under construction that cannot be used from the outside but can already be used.

When the place on the side of a stone wall was full, different campers were put in the bend at the jetty every evening. There were always 5 to 6 campers.

The place is super quiet, with great views of nature and mountains. River nearby, waterfall etc. The manager (speaks English German Spanish) has climbing routes for summer and winter (not suitable for everyone of course). You can get power, further drinks snacks.

Route planners apparently often send you the wrong dirt road that REALLY can not be driven (own experience). First, at the junction with coordinates N 40.07.16 W 0.40.20 (with sign Casa Boleo), follow the dirt road towards the white house, drive past a few hundred meters down. The road is unpaved but good to ride.

Everything is closed with red white ribbon. Everywhere there are clear signs that you can not camp. The whole very beautiful area is being rearranged. Those who pass this place in mid-2019 can see if the work is finished and the location can be used again

Wonderful quiet location. The owner is busy expanding the facilities. There will be a shower and toilet room in the future. There are five places on gravel, and a number of places on two small meadows. If these places are full, there are two places in the parking lot (but not official).
