The pitch is barely adequate considering the price (β¬42 with electricity) and quality: bare/open gravel platforms that are not level. The sanitary facilities are indeed partly old and mediocre. The road is clearly audible. Not a place to stay longer than one night.

Indeed, as mentioned in previous reviews, a great and welcoming spot, but the front area near the school sports field is a bit noisy due to youth playing during the day and evening activities in and around the school. The pitches by the river are spacious, but there is a through path used by school children, joggers, dog walkers, etc. There are, however, a lot of dogs on the permanent pitches.

It is fine in itself that Apen makes such a facility available, but it was, even when we were there last week, restless at night due to cars and train traffic until late and again early.

"Prime" is a rather optimistic assessment. The spa is cluttered and unkempt, and the sanitary facilities are very basic/Spartan. It's close to the beach and inexpensive, so it only just earned a 6. Surprisingly well-staffed, though with a lot of noisy French people.

Great spot for one or two nights. New and clean sanitary facilities. The campsite closes on September 30th!

A bit of a desolate place, with 50% occupancy both electricity and wifi do not work. Certainly not a top spot, just enough

Camping is indeed characteristic, small-scale and quiet, but also with a lot of mold (with associated smell) in the outdated toilet building. Showering / using sanitary facilities is a challenge ... Wifi is free but does not work. Not a top spot, but just enough.

Now a lot of construction noise (eg grinders), the green strip next to the cp is a public toilet, electricity does not work everywhere β¦β¦, road next to cp is busy thoroughfare, no real dog walking area. Four stars so really too much

Still some comments: we were there for a few days in mid-September. The campsite now gives a somewhat desolate impression. Many abandoned seasonal spots, litter everywhere on the campsite and there is little or no cleaning. The rest of the positive comments are correct

Closed as of September 15th

Hospitality comes first here. You feel welcome. Large site with large pitches, just look for flat spots. Sanitary facilities indeed outdated, but so clean. Definitely a nice place to stay for a few days. Meson don pancho in Lerma is a great restaurant (for meat lovers)

The plumbing is either broken, closed or dirty. Yes, the grass is green and the plants lack nothing. The owner is apparently more interested in that. The highway was very clearly audible when we were there. 19 euros for this place (including electricity) is too much for what is offered.
