The manager is humorous and very customer-friendly. Swimming is possible in the lake, but in certain wind directions, there may be floating debris/blue-green algae. Supermarket a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful castle a 30-minute walk. Cold beer, soft drinks, and ice cream are available at reception. City beach with a bar a 5-minute walk from the lake. This weekend there's a gothic festival going on; the music is audible but not disruptive. Rolling clothes dryer, excellent restrooms, super-fast dishwasher, beautiful spots. Top location.

This was the second time I stayed here on spec. Once again, everything was perfect. Reception, restrooms, Wi-Fi, trash disposal, everything was perfectly taken care of. We didn't bring our dog this time, but there was plenty of room for him too. The stork's nest with its chattering pair is a delight to watch. Otherwise, it's wonderfully quiet. My 13-year-old son was happy with the Wi-Fi. We'll definitely be back.

Large campsite with all facilities, shop, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, snack bar. Boulevard within walking distance with shops and live music. Organized outings to Krk can be booked. Everyone is very private, but fine for a few nights with a child and dog. Prices around 125 (premium) at the beach or 100 further from the beach per night (2 p, 1 child, 1 dog) Sanitary facilities at the beach are constantly maintained and only accessible to premium guests.

Phone number appears to belong to hotel instead of campsite. I was told that a reservation had to be made via the website, but it was not clear at all. She did not want to make a same-day reservation by phone or tell us if there was room. Full on arrival. Without exception.

Recommended if you want to spend a day in Venice. Both the ferry and the beach are just a 2 km walk away, but you can also take the free shuttle bus. A tip is to get a day pass (25 euros per person) for the water bus at reception if you go to Venice. Return ticket would be 20 euros. This way you can also view other islands that are definitely worth a visit. Beautiful shady, spacious places and currently many free places.

Tried to call during the entire ride but could not be reached. Full on arrival. Without pardon. We just had to figure it out.

Beautiful view! Showers and toilets simple but fine. 40 euros per night (2 adults, 1 child aged 11, dog, electricity and camper of almost 7 m) cash only. Rental of fire pits, boats, sup bikes etc etc. Free choice place. Reasonable Wi-Fi. coffee bus with terrace on the campsite open between 8 am and 8 pm (cash only) Can be a bit noisier due to groups with tents. Phone number via website for English/nl contact instead of via Campercontact!

photos of facilities are made at camper place Center for Dialogue and prayer (where we stood with dog). so it doesn't match the "advertisement" 15 min walk to entrance from cfdp this is recommended. dog has been alone outside the camper for 4 hours. went fine. (according to neighbours)

Beautiful shady spot under the coniferous trees. You can decide for yourself where. playgrounds, mighty beautiful swimming lake where you can also swim with your dog. (walking distance) Snack bar (cash only), neat toilet blocks with even laundry and cooking area. We arrived yesterday on spec and are only booking for a few more days.
