Buren is a beautiful village/town, which deserves a campsite that is also worth it. Unfortunately not this one. The campsite is located on a fairly busy road. The owners do not know what customer friendliness is: upon arrival we received a bag with all kinds of brochures (and rules). It was said: That way you don't have to ask us anything anymore, because everything is in it. Booking is only possible for a minimum of 2 nights. The entire row of campers is not going back. Too bad!

What a place: nice flat terrain, situated on the river, close to a small place for all necessary groceries and a super sanitary building. Do take into account the opening hours of the office. Acsi price was €21.

Excellent campsite to visit the Zoutsiederij in the town (on foot or by bike). Swimming pool, located almost on the river. Sanitary facilities are ok, but limited in number. Price in accordance with what is offered.

The campsite has had new owners for 3 years now. They have done a great job: the sanitary building is excellent. There is a beautiful lake in front of the door (unfortunately you are not allowed to swim in it). There is a food truck that changes every day. There is also a small bar. A special area has been created for cyclists. All this for a reasonable price with a nice owner. You do have to ask her to open the barrier.

Sometimes you can only repeat what others say. That is certainly true in this case. Beautiful place, nice people. Please do not all come at the same time: we were there with two campers. Oh yes, do buy something in the shop!

This is how camping is wonderful: within cycling distance of Ambloise, bread service, dated but complete and very clean sanitary facilities. Very helpful and committed manager who thinks in solutions (and implements). Cycling routes. In the season, the manager also provides a food truck on the site. And all that very attractively priced. In short, do you want to visit Ambloise, but not stay on a city campsite? Then go here. (visited September 2024).

Many permanent residents upon arrival, but then nice places for all types of weather. The 4 stars are mainly for the excellent sanitary building that looks fairly recent. Neatly maintained, super clean, hot water (shower/dishes).

If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Almost heavenly (toilet building does not deserve that name, despite the super hot water from the tap). Also very suitable for dogs.

Despite the constant rain, we enjoyed our 1 day/night stay. Paved surface and an excellent shower/toilet room. Added to this: owner who is a top hostess l turns out. We will come back when the weather is nice.

Everything in order: location, tranquility, sanitary facilities, spacious pitches. You can also walk to the village or vice versa. Highly recommended.

Were here 1 night. There was no room on the campsite for our 2 campers. Got these RV spots. Costs €29,- pp. Way too much for a camper place. Oh yes, I understand we don't have to be here (as the admin wrote earlier). So we don't anymore. P s.sanitary is fine ...

You rarely stand so close to a center. Now the other parking bays are no longer in use and you always look at the canal.

Some small places, which he is not allowed to pick himself. Rather dark. Plumbing has recently been renovated and is top notch. Walking to the cathedral in approx.25 minutes.

Campsite is poorly signposted, and then closed permanently. So you save a search (is it possible to remove camping from the map?)..

Beautifully situated under the old medieval part of town. Very nice reception, sanitary facilities not new, but everything works.

Location is fine, but remote. Facilities at the campsite in order. Shopping is a challenge. We paid €25 at the end of April: too much for what was offered. 'We don't do discount cards' .. said the somewhat grumpy lady at the reception.

This is what an ideal motorhome campsite looks like (in my opinion). Generous sites, quiet, next to a small river, right next to a very charming village with shops and restaurants. Sanitary is also fine. And the adjacent church bells don't ring at night. In short, top.

Campsite has new owner. He mainly adjusted the price tag. We paid €29.50 for 1 night, 2 adults and a dog (double what the app reports!). However, the sanitary facilities have not been adapted and date from the period just after the war: dramatic (see photos). It is scandalous that this campsite is still mentioned in our NKCapp. Advice: keep looking.

Loved it: new owner is pleasant, working on improvements. although ? toilet block is well maintained and clean, swimming pool is great for cooling off, terrace with tour on TV. Shady spots, lavender fields and town (Valreas) at hand. Highly recommend.

Typical municipal campsite. Nice location, right on the Saone. Unfortunately, showers in our part did not work (according to the manager that was due to the speed of the repairman).
