Top marks for this lovely stopover. Think we took the difficult route into. Facilities very clean. Erik and Janka are so lovely, canโt do enough for you. Love to revisit in the warmer months to give their lovely swimming pool a go. Thanks.

Pleasant place to stay. Peaceful and tranquil. Nice little brook and walks. Try it for a night.

Not pretty but adequate for a nights stopover. Nip into town for a snack and a nice cold beer to pass some time. Locals are friendly.

This place is special... Up higher in the mountains. Great facilities for an aire. Beautiful views and walks, cycle rides!

Everything youโd ever need at an aire... We ended up staying a week it was so so good! Not going to say much, just come here and see for yourselves how blummin good this place is!

Stopped here for one night only during a storm... went for a lovely 40 mile ride during 40+ degrees heat. Got back showered up then went for a lovely pizza and beer at the local pizza house just 100m from the aire! When I got back the wind picked up and rains came, thunder and lightning and then branches... Big ones started falling just missing my MH but flattened my chair and table!

Lovely quiet spot by a fishing lake. Toilets were locked when I was there. Nice and safe for walking dogs round the lake. Tartas is a lively little village, worth a visit but would have to drive or cycle there,it is walkable but will take a while.

Nice Aire this one... weโve been here twice and had very enjoyable and quiet time. Fishing is fantastic in the canal, (local fishing ๐ฃ tackle shop to get day ticket) Tackle shop has a good little bar too! Couple of shops and restaurants in village. Bourne is a bit hit and miss but there is one ๐. Good for cycling, nice and flat. Enjoy!

If youโre in this area, this Aire is a must... Itโs beautiful, really beautiful. Right on the banks of The Dordogne. Lots to see and do in the area. We visited Rocamadour and the caves at Lacave. Our dogs loved it, especially the river... oh donโt waste time reading this, just go, youโll love it Iโm sure!

I think one of the best New Forest campsites for location and pricing. Camp wardens, so friendly. Spotless facilities. Great location for walking / cycling. Not far from Lyndhurst or Brockenhurst. Peaceful and Tranquil with lots of beautiful wildlife to see.

We love it here. Good stop before heading back to Blighty from Dieppe. Courville has a very good vets that is very reasonably priced. If you like fishing ๐ฃ have a go in the river... you might get a real surprise as I did, huge carp after just 10 minutes. Great weekend market in town. Love it!

Fab Aire, with clean toilets and wash area. Not a lot in the vicinity but quiet apart from the bells!!! but didnโt bother us. The lake is stocked with some nice carp. I fished it twice and caught a few. A man comes round a couple of times a day, cost 6 euros. We have two dogs, a lovely area to walk them. We will return.

Wow wow wow... not the best Aire we have stayed at but is location is awesome. You've got to make the effort at this place. Drive the Gorge. Canoe up the river at the top end of the lake. Water is fr fr freezing but the scenery is staggering. If you can ride round the lake to take in more breathtaking view... we loved it and will most definitely be returning some day.

Very clean and brand new. Fontaney le Compte is a nice town. I love cycling and was treated to a nice evening criterium. Plenty of quality cafes and restaurants to choose from. Nice grounds adjacent to the Aire to exercise your dogs on if you have any that is. Enjoy.

Basic Aire close to the coast. Nice walk along the coastal path to the local town Royan! Good stopover before ferrying over to Aire at Soulac sur Mer. Not bad for cycling.

Very peaceful. Quite a steep road to access the Aire, so persons with scooter racks be cautious. Spaces for about 4 MHs... free leccy which was nice, not that we needed it. Close proximity to the local village and very close to the lookout tower at the top of the hill, which is worth a visit, take a picnic too as the grounds are pleasant. Beautiful views down into the valley... Enjoy.

Lovely large plot with all the usual facilities albeit electric. Nice little 5 minute walk to town which has a nice square with a few bars and restaurants. Also a Super U shop in town with cheap fuel. Lake close by with a lovely chateau, does not allow dogs to swim in the lake. Some nice cycling roads. We were there during a magnificent evening lightning storm.

Very basic Aire with no services. Nice walks along the seafront. Good stopover for if you want to catch a ferry to the other side from Royan!

Lovely large spot amongst the vineyards. Free for us. I tried to pay but the owner said later they would come and collect but they never showed up. Local pattiserie 5 minute walk away. Some nice cycling around the area. Has electric, water and waste disposal.

Nice Aire beside a football ground with a run down stadium. Bourne pressure keypad was not working whilst we were there, didn't find this out until after I'd paid ha ha! Beach lovely. Lots of areas to exercise your dogs. Some great flat fast roads for cycling on. Nothing in the way of evening entertainment in the immediate vicinity if that's what you're after.

Great site this. our second visit. Mixture of hard or grass. Open to 'renters'. Nice and easy walk to the Happy Valley and on Londons doorstep... All the usual quality Caravan Club facilities...

Been to a lot better. Beach and the lovely little town of Alvor made up for what seemed like an expensive stop for what seemed like a dusty large car park.

What a cracker!!! 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach! Good dog walks, for those with mutts. Little supermarket just a couple of minutes walk, turn left out the site. Facilities top notch and site immaculately maintained. I even got a Francesinha at the local cafe!!! Bargain. Enjoy folks... We did

facilities OK, Bit of a parking lot but they all seem to be like that in the Algarve. Quietist. Out of town, but walk only a pleasant 1.5km walk along marina to centre. Some great restaurants and gizzet shops to be seen. Had my Birthday here. Did not visit beach, so can't comment.
