When we arrived, the gate was open. This late in autumn, the place seemed a bit desolate. We drove on.

What a lovely place! Unfortunately, all services are out of order, probably until next season. Otherwise, it would get 5 stars.

The place is well-maintained, and it's great that there's power! It's especially helpful because we're having problems with the battery and it gets dark early. Only 3 stars, though. We were here on a Saturday, and there was some traffic all night long, probably only 3 cars per hour, but we were always awake. Bonus: around 4 p.m., about 30 hot-air balloons took off over the Loire. Fantastic!

A bit muddy, busy, and cars on the campsite. Beautiful at the foot of the mountain with a village and castle. For those who enjoy that, not our cup of tea.

It's a great spot. It can get busy at times, as you're parked in the parking lot of the local picnic area. We found it perfect; there's little traffic at night, and we slept well. The local restaurant is closed, but there's a pizza vending machine nearby, as well as one with ready-made meals. Will you be back? If we're ever in the area, we will!

A slightly slanted spot. A nice village, though. Be careful how you drive there, as the streets are very narrow. There were some long-term parkers and cars at the campsite. Motorhomes are not permitted in the adjacent parking lot. We didn't stay.

Great spot on or near the beach. Out of season, no problem; there were about 75 of us. The police come by, there are trash bins, but you have to go to the village for service. Great spot! I'll definitely be back!

Just a peaceful, good place. You'll need to bring your own comfort. It's wonderfully peaceful, and you can do your essential shopping nearby. Great spot right on the edge of the village with two service stations. Note: you can get drinking water from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 5 PM to 7 PM. Two friendly officials knocked on our door at 8:15 AM on Sunday morning to ask for payment. A surprising number of French people arrive a bit later and disappear again in the late afternoon. A nice tourist attraction. Will you come back? We were here last year too!

Well, it's October 31st now, and the high bars are open, so you can easily get there via Valras Plage. The service is fine, but the village is desolate this off-season. Not our thing, but if you're here to surf, for example, it's fantastic! It's also quiet at night! We won't be back. We paid €10.34 for one night.

What a lovely place to stay for a few days! The facilities are excellent, you can drive in and out, and there are good instructions, including Dutch (Google Translate). There's a nice restaurant in the village, nothing wrong with that. However, be sure to bring all your groceries. I couldn't even find a bakery. Much of the area is charred due to large forest fires here in August 2025.

Still a nice place. Unfortunately, the terminal is broken, and you can't get fresh water or buy electricity. Too bad! The paperwork says it's being repaired, but it's been that way for a while.

Quite a nice spot near a lovely old village. The trash can is overflowing. And when we arrive, we see a few hunters hoisting a dead wild boar into the small building next to the campsite. It's quiet at night, except for a dog that starts at 6 a.m. Lanterns stay on. It's great that it's there!

A pair of white herons wanders somewhere near a herd of red cows. A very friendly dog approaches us, the silence is impressive, the air is clean, and hey, it's only 3 km from the D117! What a lovely spot! The French know about it; around 5 pm, there are three of us, and in the evening, another one arrives. We'll be back next year!

Great spot near the Plan d’eau. On the edge of a slowly dying village. Very quiet! To empty your toilet, it's almost a 200-meter walk. You can also drive uphill. Next to the town hall, diagonally across from the church, there's a waste disposal point on the side of the street. The baker came by on Thursday morning. He didn't on Friday. Good Wi-Fi. Will you come back? If I'm in the area, I will!

Great place! The village shop is closed, but the bar sells fresh bread. Electricity from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. (4 10-amp hookups) Maximum of 5 pitches and 48 hours. Will you come back? Absolutely! We were here in May 2023 as well.

Still a lovely spot near a beautiful Basque village. A beautiful church, a lovely village square, and it's great that there's a Spar and a bakery nearby. Okay, there are a few nosy Dutch people around. Don't worry about them. Fresh water and drainage are fine. Will you come back? We're back!

We arrived around 1 p.m. and walked around. The place was perfectly manageable and spacious! There was a car parked at the dump station. Otherwise, everything was fine. If it had been a bit later in the afternoon, we would have stayed. We drove a bit further to La Bastide Clairence.

Eauze. A nice campsite, one spot occupied due to construction work for the health center, 10 meters from a charming old town with a beautiful church, unplastered, just old stones with a lovely organ. Especially when it's being played. Service: If you don't have a Gardena "man" connection, you can't get water. Bonus: a large parking lot next to the campsite, in case it's full, and a beautiful arena with an explanation of the Basque-style running of the bulls.

We drove into the village and saw the sign for the campsite. It was a great spot on the edge of the village. We didn't hear any dogs, and the woman was gone. Work on the church was at a standstill. It does get muddy quickly when it rains, but hey, it's wonderfully quiet, and the facilities are working. Great! A bonus is the antique washhouse next to the campsite. It's free, folks, and quiet. What a lovely spot on the Marne Lateral Canal. Spotlessly clean, the restrooms and drinking water are excellent, and it's incredibly peaceful. A small, sleepy village with lots of empty buildings. The streetlights go out at 11 p.m. There's a supermarket, a cafe, and a great bakery. There's a memorial stone by the bridge, where heavy fighting took place in 1940. Just over the bridge on the left are more spots near the pétanque courts. Will you be back? Absolutely!

what a beautiful spot in the early season! Wonderfully quiet, you can drive down for more shade or park in the parking lot near the service. The village is really super beautiful! With a church whose construction began in the 11th century. And besides, the road there is also beautiful! Just a great campsite! Spacious pitches, English and German preaching lady at the reception. Nice and quiet at night and for the exact opening times: Check the acsi app. They update the data every year. Downside: the water temperature of the showers fluctuates quite a bit. But neat, modern and clean.

Good location on the edge of town. The facilities work and €3 for 24 hours of electricity is fine. Thanks to the municipality! A digital hobbyist has been busy. Getting a pin code via a QR code (1977) to dispose of your waste is excessive. At the beginning and end of school hours it is busy with people dropping off and picking up their children. What a nice campsite! Professionally run, neat places and a great swimming pool. Really within walking distance of the (very touristic) centre of Peniscola, nice to be back here after many years. Reasonably priced in the low season. Super good wifi with your own box included! (€20,- deposit). Will you come here again? Certainly, if we have the time of our lives.

The local winegrowers fill their tanks to dilute the pesticides, locals walk by or walk their dogs. A few people come to fill bottles of water. In the village the bar and restaurant are open, the bakery only in the morning. The Ebro flows 10 minutes walk away. It is nice to be here. Nice to be back for a while.

How nice that there is service here! Thanks municipality! The place itself is not special, quite narrow places and muddy when it rains. But there is a lot, hundreds of places on the P's of the infrastructure for future new construction.

What a nice place! On the edge of the village, beautiful view and an ancient village. Water and electricity at every spot. On April 27th there was a festival. The main street closed off, a bouncy castle for the little ones, disco for the older ones and drinks for everyone. Beautiful steep streets and a relaxed atmosphere. A cyclist with a small tent also stayed overnight at the cp. We will definitely come back here!

Still a great place! This time we were in the front row, right on the beach. Boulevard starts in front of the door. Nice and quiet at night. Unfortunately there were no Flamengos. We were there for 2 nights. Extra nice that there is no service. That prevents long stays.

There was a market and a funfair yesterday (Silent Saturday). After the market the big square was a mess but the municipal cleaning service cleaned everything. Around 6 o'clock the funfair opened, lots of noise, music and happy people. At 12 o'clock everything was quiet. Nice place on the (beautiful) edge of the city. Will you come back here? This place was not our thing. Every place has a water tap and waste point and electricity. All electricity is broken and disconnected. Some waste points are blocked and a few taps are disconnected. At night acorns etc. kept falling on the car, slept badly. Too bad because they meant it fantastically. Nice village and the road there from the South is breathtakingly beautiful!

Driving through the town it is a bit tight here and there but no problem. The places on one side have tables and a fantastic view. The town is very normal, no tourist crowds, wonderful! The garbage bins on the cp are overflowing due to antisocial campers who do not take the trouble to walk to the large container. Young people chatted around the cp until about 2 o'clock in the morning but everything very relaxed. Good place. We will come back.

nice place at the park on the Charente. nice village with an interesting church, a 16th century group of statues that depicts Jesus being laid in the grave. the chateau is magically situated on the Charente. downside: overflowing waste bins. in the evening after 10 pm the lights go out in the park. We find it a pleasant place and stayed 2 nights. Worth repeating!

what a great campsite! we arrived on saturday march 1st, called in advance because we were standing in front of a closed other campsite that should be open. The owner was busy starting up, had some problems with the sanitary facilities and gave us access to a mobile home for shower and toilet. The small pool was warm but the restaurant was closed. We stayed 2 nights and paid €21.60 per night. nothing wrong with that.

still a very nice place, we arrived sick and therefore stayed five nights. A bit better we continued this morning. Despite the heavy rain the mud was not too bad. 1 night we stood with 18 cars. Thursday evening Jeux de Boules. Do you want a pizza? In the weekend absolutely necessary to order in advance. Will you come back here? Definitely! On April 9 we were here already.

A huge campsite. We were received nicely, the places are sandy. Only 2 waste stations so you walk a hell of a way with your waste, you have to go to the beach with a special card (€10,- deposit). About 20 min walk to the village. The showers are neat but give a miserable little trickle of water that is only just at the right temperature. I don't think we will come back here.

There is a 4-day fishing competition! Good location near a beautiful old city center. The payment machine currently only accepts cash. But at the barrier you can pay with your debit card. We were here for 3 nights. The lights go out during the night. No problems with airplanes.

What a strange conclusion of Argegna. We were here last night with another camper. What a beautiful old village with a beautiful church and what a nice place for a quiet night! The only restaurant was open, we ate excellent wild boar with a delicious bottle of red wine. We felt more than welcome and have added the place to our favorites!

What a crappy campsite. Layout very confusing, poorly indicated and poorly lit. Only 1 place for your waste, far away! No toilet seat, no toilet paper. Clean though! Electricity only 3 amp! Large puddles when it rains, also on the paths. Overhanging branches on the paths, risk of damage to your vehicle! Grey water drain difficult to reach Super nice swimming pool, that's true. But for us this was once and never again.

A very nice place close to a medieval village. The electricity worked fine and there is also the possibility to charge your bike or laptop via solar cells. We had particularly bad weather but you are standing on asphalt and all the rain flowed away quickly. Wonderfully quiet at night! The pizzeria nearby is closed! Neat and affordable camping. A professional reception. Quite spacious places, the restaurant was open, is ok. We drove there on spec, no problem! The sanitary facilities are excellent and we paid on 23-8 Chf 28.80. Ok, the exit is a bit steep but hey you are in Switzerland!

What a nice spot on the Maas! We drive a route towards the source of the Maas. A gem of a spot. Good that there is no dumping point otherwise you stay! Some noise from the train. Light sleepers wake up early!

Camping is the ultimate freedom, but the fact that some clever person emptied his toilet bowl into the winter drinking water supply is very over the top! reasonable location, the parking lot is a bit crooked, but you are better off on the grass next to it or on the gravel behind it. yes: some traffic noise and waste containers were emptied at 5 o'clock in the morning. What a nice place in the middle of the old village! After a nice ride through Provence, from We arrived in Saint Romain and Viennois (also highly recommended!) early in the afternoon. Unfortunately, both the restaurant at the hotel and the bistro a little further away were closed. We stood in a wonderfully quiet position and visited Adèle Clément's small park. Thanks for that spot, the service and yes, we will definitely come back!

Quite a nice place, but last night there was Easter. Quite noisy and in the middle of the night someone went to saw wood in the village square with a chainsaw. Well, of course you don't have that for the rest of the year. Nice village and the service works. You may be bothered by flies later in the season because you are next to the waste disposal station.

as Pretfiets indicates, difficult to find. Put N40.0991462 W1.2568121 in your route planner, you will then come to the first sign 100m camper place. Follow the signs, after about 800 m cross the river and after 150 m you are there. Close to the village! Service point is out of service!

A very special tour! Follow the signs, especially the first on the main road. follow direction 1 to the street on the left, only for campers and trucks. No fresh water or electricity. The pole is out of use. the places are quite crooked, blocks are needed. Will you come back here? Well, only if there is no other option.

Great that there is a service point! Unfortunately, no fresh water, you cannot lock the valve for black water, but hey, it is free and 500 m further at the end of the Termen car park you are wonderfully quiet. You'll also be fine at the municipal swimming pool! We saw a Hoopoe (and heard it for a long time). When we opened the curtains in the morning we saw 5 Griffon Vultures flying over! The day couldn't be better!

Still an excellent spot near a dead village. (There is an abandoned Dutch caravan) No restaurant open, people are working on the swimming pool. Blissful peace. And the power point works! The road there is beautiful and the road further to Oleiros is spectacular. Nice stop.

Simple CP on the edge of the village. The site was intended for camping activities and events in 2014. After that it stayed like that. It might be dusty in the summer. Most places are a bit crooked so blocks are useful. You must empty gray water with a bucket. Sometimes long-term residents in the winter. Snack bar and supermarket within 100 m. Great that that place is there!!

we stayed here (again) for 2 nights. Nature explodes in the spring, birds singing, the occasional stork. In the evening it is busy with crickets, the goat herder trudges past, his dog wants a cuddle, the water in the reservoir is not so dramatically low and the carp spawn in the water right on the side. What a nice and quiet place by the sea! It's great that there are no facilities otherwise people wouldn't leave! Restaurant in the parking lot. The local police regularly drove past waste bins, but probably not possible in high season! We will probably come back here!

What a nice place, Parque Merendas. Made with a little EU subsidy. Wonderfully quiet, frogs in the river, fish, a little further on water turtles and in a pool I see a small snake! After a beautiful ride from Sao Bartlomeu de Messines, we came here for 1 night but stayed for 3! A very nice shepherd came by with 30 goats and a nice border collie. We will definitely come back here!

Quite a nice place in winter! Muddy after rain and probably dusty during drought. Today 22°, sleepy town, diagonally opposite the Galp gas station, an excellent restaurant, O Morgadinho, straight to the point, excellent sea bass, fries, wine from the barrel. Full of local guests. Will you come back here? Certainly! Lots of Dutch people, yes, but all nice people!

A beautiful spot on the reservoir. Unfortunately we could not eat in the restaurant. We had a quiet night there, lots of early spring flowers and climate change? In practice. The reservoir has not been full for many years..

We stayed here 5 nights. Slightly sloping but with electricity, including (a bit shabby) hot shower, washing machine €2.50, dryer €2.00 Intermarché around the corner. Very quiet at night and correct staff. all in all fine. We paid €39.50 for those five nights. Will you come back here? We are here for the 4th time in 8 years. Maybe see you soon!

The location is neat, right next to the sports hall and 100 m from the municipal swimming pool. About 5 flat places and another 10 quite sloping. We had a super quiet night, standing alone. The town is not very special, but it is nice that the place is there. If we come here again, we might be there again.

a fairly large parking lot especially for campers. many places are not completely straight. There is a discharge point for your toilet and gray water. There is no shade, but it is located behind an oark with some trees and play equipment.

What a nice spot! You should keep this a secret.. Wonderfully quiet, a beautiful park on the doorstep with a lake. You are not allowed to swim there, but you can fish for carp with a permit. It is very hot when we arrive, but it is wonderful in the shade of the trees. As an extra bonus, a very large hot air balloon, 6 people in the basket, goes up on the other side. The bakery in the village has fresh bread and delicious pastries. La vie est belle!!

we came on sunday, parking lot full but place by 6 pm. The abbey is beautiful and we didn't like the village. Very quiet at night. But we just came from Broglie so we were spoiled, 25 km to the South, a bit bigger, beautiful Norman church, authentic restaurants and a choice of cp with all services or a free cp on the stream in the center.

Nice spot in a tiny village. Everything tip top order. However, the request not to use electricity for heating, but that seems logical to me. A gem on the Loire, 4 min walk to the old town and bakery. Very neat places next to the football field. Training took place in the evening. Walking along the Loire, restaurants nearby and a Hyper U at the other end of the town. Pay for water and electricity by credit card. Will you come back here? Certainly!!

Nothing wrong with the place in itself. Only people were busy with building materials etc. So now only for emergencies. We drove on to Meung sur Loire.

Great place right on the Loire and near the center. Some traffic noise in the morning. ATTENTION: between May 15 and 24, 2023 there is Fête de la Loire and the place is closed!

Coming from across the Loire, you forget about Tom Tom. It will take you to a dead end street in an industrial estate. Continue until the traffic lights and then turn right. Water and electricity are not (yet) working, there is a super modern unit for your cc. Unfortunately not in use. A great place. Well outside the city. The railway line is not a problem, there are no trains running at night. There is room for up to 50 units. Drinking water vs. the football cage.

May 9: The place is open as usual, the barrier is up. due to rain, the place was quite muddy, we drove on to Parigny.

great spot for max 2 campers of max 7 m. The traffic goes on almost all night, I didn't sleep great. yes: 200 m further in the village on the village square and diagonally opposite behind the church there is more space. It's May 8, French celebration of the end of WW2. Around 3 o'clock in the afternoon it is "full house", also in the parking lot, we find a place and by 4 o'clock many French people leave and we find a place on the cp. A perfect place, a separate harbor for each camper with a beautiful view over the lake and some also have a private bench. Quiet at night. Really amazing!!

coming from the South, following the upper reaches of the Loire at the beginning of the pretty old town quite steeply downhill. Close to a small neighborhood next to a playing field, a nice cp with service. The old town is beautiful but quite a climb. The pool is no more. At the top of the city is a new roof, so it is in use all year round. The ride was nice, the place is fine! Thank you municipality of Monastir Sur Gazelle!

At 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Saturday 6 May, the cp is half empty. At 9 o'clock all places are occupied. Fishing is done in the Lot and on the other side you can enjoy the beautiful weather under the wall of the monastery. A very nice quiet place on the edge of the beautiful old town.

A nice place in a beautiful old town. Quite a lot of restaurants. Enjoy petanque in the late afternoon. In the river there are opportunities for fishing, swimming or canoeing and next to the campsite there is a large field on the river. Unfortunately, the gray water discharge point is a broken mess. Still a nice place to be!

very simple cp. The access is a bit bumpy, but a beautiful village high on the mountain. Everything else works. nothing to do with it.

A village with a "lie bench", a shepherd with at least 300 sheep, fishing in the dammed river and lots of Red-rumped Swallows! Nice place behind abandoned hostel. The buzzing sound is from an underground drain from the nearby hydroelectric power plant. Will you come back here? Think so!

A dusty but nice place between the mountains and near a nice village. Busy with mountain hikers. We stood in a hut mudje with 28 campers. There is a well, it was used a lot for washing and making toilet. Nice place!

coming from Castro Caldelas via Ponferrada, only 5 km further a jewel with 5 places in a village busy with pilgrims. Service in good condition, in the village a few shops and a lot of restaurants. we come from Seia, a nice route, cross the old bridge and turn right onto the Praia Fluvial. It's hot, the beach, jetty and facilities are under construction. It's an awful bunch of dust. but the place is beautiful, we drive to the end. In the course of the afternoon a big splash, an otter jumps into the water 3 m away. NICE!! but stay away until the holidays, then the work is done and much less dust. wonderfully quiet at night

In the evening it becomes calm and quiet, the swallows are busy, hundreds of nests hang from the building, but it is April, no problems with mosquitoes or flies (yet). The service works, there is no separate tap for toilet flushing

we come from Alcoutim and from above we see that there are many campers. We find a nice spot next to 2 German long-stayers. We have dinner at Maria once and the next day at Café do Cais. Cafe is a great little place, excellent food and a terrace with great views over the river. This one is our definitive preference. We stayed 4 nights. Nice stay! See you next time!

What a special place! Outside the village, very quiet at night, near a somewhat neglected (season?) swimming pool complex. The supermarket at the roundabout, costs are now € 3, - and is picked up by the local police around 7.30 pm. pay by card only. We had a very quiet night, electricity, we arrived early and a caravan came later in the day. The police didn't think that was a problem. Will you come back here? Only when I'm around.

Coming into the village from the A476, turn sharply to the left. Then the first right turn is very steep, continue for 100 m and then turn right is easier. Driving up and down the spots is a bit tricky. You can also stand just in front of, below the cp. There is a small field, it is easier to turn onto it, but you miss a lot of the beautiful view. Nice spot, service is a little further down on the industrial estate, is indicated.

we arrive on saturday 1pm. Everything is full of cars because of football. They leave just after 2. The water is shut off, one tap is broken and the other is broken. The spot is very quiet with some shade. The town is nice and easy to walk to. An ordinary place like so many. It's nice that it's there! we came from the north and followed the bus route wrong. In the town turned right and made the detour through the campsite. It was Tuesday and there wasn't much in the parking lot. what a great place! At most 5 minutes walk to the historic and very touristic center. It was quiet at night, there were 5 of us. It will be busy on Palm Sunday, Easter and in the high season. We thought it was worth it. Will you come back here? That's possible!

Despite the adjacent road, a fairly quiet place where you can enjoy the sun in the spring and regularly hear the clattering of the storks. The adjacent swimming pool is open but you will not notice it. The plumbing is neat, showers too, but only for the very good among us. Only cold water. The old town and the Intermarché are a big streetwalker. We met up with old friends here and stayed for 3 nights.

Good amenities! The site is on a small square on the edge of the village next to an irrigation channel and 50 m from the ruins of a castle. We saw the place by chance and took a look. Probably very quiet. Opposite a few houses but fine for a night.

The place is along a quiet road and apparently also on the square in front of the school. We slept fine. The old town within walking distance is worth it. Unfortunately, the landfill for chem. toilet a mess, they have screwed a fine-meshed grille on it. Fortunately, you can also use it in the separate street well next to the partially clogged gray water discharge point

There is no service area here but a small campsite. Nice campsite and open all year round costs €18 per night in low season. The spots are tight but adequate. Furthermore pet friendly and a washing machine. Bonus is the public swimming pool next to the campsite. I have tried to change things in the app, but it is very user-unfriendly unfortunately

A great place with a playground if you have children. A nice view, facilities ok although both water taps are not running fast. Food was handed out, food bank? Support for strikers to keep pensions? No idea. Thanks to the municipality of Saint Lon for the nice service.

A very nice place on the canal. Tree felling is underway. There were some branches here and there. Because we arrived on Sunday and the water tank was still full, we did not go for tokens. But on weekdays that doesn't seem to be a problem. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful surroundings. Great place!!

The Foyer Rural got busy on Saturday and the streetlights went out at half past ten. An old building is being restored. All in all a wonderful place. 5 stars this time. It is Siesta when we arrive, on the cp, right next to the station, we find a spot next to a French camper. I call bonjour. He asks if we speak English, an American living in Brittany. we exchange experiences. He continues and we walk through the town. Pretty nice! The place is satisfactory, the night (Saturday evening!) is quiet and as a bonus there is a market on Sunday morning. Also nice! A bit difficult to drive away with many passenger cars on cp.

What a nice place! wonderful, Safe, Sheltered and close to a beautiful old town. We stayed 2 nights, did some hiking, did some laundry and had a delicious daily menu at the Batzoki Artziniega restaurant. Starter CousCous with vegetables is sublime! Do not add ice cream, then you will get a Cornetto or something, but take the homemade yogurt or something!

quite a nice place in a village that is in deep sleep in winter. Unfortunately no water in winter, which is a pity. but ok it is the free period. according to a Dutchman who lives here, there are a lot of wild boars here. We haven't seen them. but the lake is beautiful!

there is only 1 vehicle on the cp when we arrive. It's nothing special for €10. but the village is special and the church is nothing short of magical with 3 balconies above each other. And no crossroads. Basques must be good people. In the church only 1 confessional and that is also still in a dark corner..

we were here on 24-9. nice and quiet place. in the evening youth but they were gone by 11 o'clock. service is 1.5 km away at Alko customer service N50.9429493, E6.5792750 in Daimlerstrasse. I immediately entered that location in the app, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work that smoothly.

The parking lot is busy when we arrive. There is still 1 spot on the cp where you can catch TV with the dish. The place is quiet, unpaved and the hall with restaurant is being renovated. You are close to the old town and there are good walking opportunities. The water is still closed but hey, the place is free! Thanks municipality! Are you coming back here? Especially if I'm in the area.

In front of the entrance is a sign 'forbidden to all traffic', further inspection shows allowed for wohnmobile. The lucky ones have a spot by the river, far from the bus parking lot, where it is a loud noise until late at night and early in the morning. We wanted to go to Andernach again. Would you come back here? Ok we have been and will not come again.

Hmm.. the place is super neat and tidy. Pay at the pool. Asked there where the service was, well the nice young lady didn't know. Nice Pool though! Great if you are with kids! Well, I looked for it myself, 200 m before the cp there is a very large sign, Coord. n51.6657774 e9.6287398. Well, that's a bit stupid, we haven't seen it ourselves! Recommended: Chinese rest on the festplatz.

nice that there is no service here otherwise it was always full! On the edge of a quirky little town. Next to park and sports fields. very nice town nearby with a nice Heimat museum, a beautiful central square and many half-timbered houses from around the first industrial revolution. worth the effort. The train is a local passenger bus. we didn't stay but out of season it doesn't run during the night.

Still a nice spot on the Weser. No one came for money, so only €5 in an envelope. No new bridge is being built! the water level was again high enough for shipping. Nice village. A bit in disrepair...

We arrive via the village center and arrive via the old train yard. The field is a bit withered but we are happy to be here again. we use the neat showers, stay 2 nights. Everything within walking distance and sometimes an antique train. what a nice place!

everything sufficient but no more than that. well calm. we got an incorrect code for the sanitary facilities. can happen and we didn't really need it.

When we arrive the camp is full and we are standing on the big P in front of it. It is wonderfully quiet and you have virtually no problems with the nearby railway line. The town is nice but no more than that. The discharge pit is easily accessible and the dump for the chemical toilet is in an excellent location. Filling your water tank is fine and 100 L for €1,- is a bargain. Nice that there are quite a lot of places like this in Germany! We stay 2 nights. Tomorrow Anku!!

On September 7, 2022, the water level will be 6.93 m. Almost all ships are only half or less loaded. On the jetty in front of the cp all day long, ship personnel who go with them enter Germany and personnel leave the ships that come from Germany. nice place, fabulous view and good food and drink nearby. nice that there is no service and you can stay max 2 nights. so many people can enjoy this place.

what a friendly village and a very nice spot. From the cp you look out over the remains of the local castle. There is a bakery in the village, behind the very old very simple but beautiful church. 2 restaurants, one is closed. Nice walking, cycling and in the pond you can fish with a permit and wonderfully quiet. Are you coming back here? You bet, La Vie Est Belle…

when we arrive there are many young people playing sports. A ball enters the water and I help them fish it out. in the old center are a few beautiful buildings. Until 11 o'clock in the evening there is noisy playing with motorbikes. After that it is quiet, we slept well. Are you coming back here? Well not special.

Jean, Jacg et Pierre play Petanque. the field is dusty and after half past five it becomes quiet. around 7 o'clock some young people come for music lessons. When it gets dark there is complete peace. Nice place!

glad the place is there! also nicely out of the wind due to a low dune in front of it, but that takes away the sea view. Nice to walk through the village, the place is weather dependent, dusty or muddy. In the evening a sewage smell. Some campers drop their toilet under a “just like that” manhole cover. grrr. We arrive around 2 o'clock, it is dead quiet and there is still 1 camper. The place is on concrete, flat, clean and very warm in summer. Facilities in order. Shadow? maybe in 5 years when the trees are a bit bigger. A sleepy town but a dentist! And I had a toothache! Are you coming back here? It is possible.

Just a nice place on the edge of the village. Nice village and excellent gastronomic possibilities. Dusty in the summer and mud in the winter. Nice that the place is there!

we come from the south and the tom tom sends us through the inner city. One gate stands at 2.8 m, but fortunately it is a lot higher. It's busy on the CP. Quite a nice place for a few days and a very nice old town. Are you coming back here? Pretty!

What a nice place! We drive into the park and pass the row under the trees. Slightly higher are a few flat pieces, always for 2 campers. We park next to a Belgian camper, a man alone, has probably been there for months. out of the park to the left is the market, further down. after almost exactly 2 years we are here again. more or less by chance. The village is still sleeping and for peace and quiet it is a top spot! The cp has been greatly improved and there are now 12 spots. A barrier has been installed and the electricity is locked. Soon a contribution?

we come from Castro Verde via the N263 in the city says Dom Dom keep right and sign says max 2m wide. done it anyway, sneak through etc. hold the n263 until you're through the city center!! A very nice place, quite busy on weekends. 3 nights with great pleasure. nice town too! are you coming back here? certainly!

We arrive from Mina de Sao Domingos. At the top of the mountain on the left is the drinking water treatment plant for the village. after a sharp bend, a narrow street 180 m, we are there. What a nice place! so down by the dammed river. We stay for a day, eat well at the restaurant on the road and walk through the village over stairs and narrow paths. A very large flock of sheep grazes on the other side. Beautiful camper life!

we were here on 10-2-2022. The drive is breathtakingly beautiful and the houses in which the harvest was stored very special. there are a few dogs and 3 horses running loose. The old village is beautiful and the farmer next to the camp takes his cows home and takes them away a little later. The hot showers are clean and function excellent, but bring a light! The Panaderia has delicious fresh bread and even tastier pastries. Are you coming back here? certainly!

Good place with nice manager. he brings an elephant's foot bread every morning and that's in the service! washing machine costs €4. the showers are a bit clumsy. You are on gravel, some places are not level. The market hall in the village is open twice a week. Are you coming back here? Certainly!

We first continue on the asphalt road. Yes, you will then arrive at a square near boat jetties. the police came by and were fine with us standing there. We eventually drove to the place at the sign “autocaravanes”. stood there with 6. quietly, lighting at a distance. A farmer let his cows drink in the lake. also some birds. quite nice place.

The service point was just open and easy to reach. we didn't stay overnight, that's allowed!

When we arrive on Sunday afternoon, the terraces are full. the cp looks nice and we stay. the toilets are locked. on Monday morning it gets a bit noisy around 7am. When we get up we see the reason, there is a market around the cp! In the town is a large Panaderia and a little further a decent Spar supermarket. we buy our fruit and vegetables on the market and leave the service is blocked by market traders.

we came there on March 4, the weather is nice! we put the chairs outside and soon a very big black and white dog comes by, a bitch, bit scared we give them something to drink and eat, she stayed with us until the next evening. Nice village, fresh bread, 2 restaurants, the second, which is down is ok. A few storks! A very old church and above all a lot of peace. compared to the overcrowded cp in Caceres a relief, but there is little to do in the village.

very quiet spot as long as the nightclub across the street is closed. when we were there it looked deserted. the pool is open until 7:30 in the evening. good for 1 night.

very narrow places so that people are a bit further apart and use one and a half spots. understandable and annoying. we drove on

after a spectacular drive from Miranda de Corvo and Lousã at the beginning of the village 500 m to the cp. bit narrow but ok. nice place, good facilities. walking to the village is fine. in the village the tavern next to the church is a must, is full of locals, Bacelhou and Kip are excellent but the fries are weak. In the village there are large dolls because of Carnival people and the shops all together deserve a top spot. We'll be back here.

quite nice place on the edge of the village and almost directly in front of a bar. crowded also in February.

It is Friday afternoon, when we arrive the Tom Tom sends us along a narrow winding path past the health center. we are alone, it is quiet and the market building is deserted. The village looks a bit run down. There is a large and interesting museum. Saturday morning the market building is open and it is lively. the vegetables are fine and cheap, the butcher has excellent meat and the laundromat is open in the corner. Nice place!!

Great place! The showers, ok they don't run very fast but they are clean. The place seems a bit out of the way, but hey with 150 m you are in the nice center! decided to come back! Only…. in the evening satellite antenna up and we were right behind the water tower! #small sorrow!

What a great spot! you can walk into the nice town and it is still super quiet! although, in the summer the place is probably used by the locals, that might be so cosy! BBQ, swimming etc.

nice place! The shepherd comes by twice a day, the bordecollies do the work. a large white dog with 2 puppies is walking along. the real drinking water tap is closed, no hetons at the tourist office or fire brigade. at the bus stop in front of the south gate of the town is a neat water tap, photo added, (40.7229227, -6.9048505) BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

We arrive and see the beautifully painted facade of the fire station. it is Saturday and in front of the barracks are a number of antique fire engines. Nearby is a nice park and in the evening little traffic and at night it is quiet. There are 4 electrical connections, the places are for campers of max 8 m. Great! thanks municipality!

great campsite and very quiet at the beginning of February. It is a long walk to the city center, but there is also a bus. the reception gives you basic bus info, city map etc. beautiful old town and beautiful cathedral. in short, a nice stop!

we thought it was a place for the hardcore lovers of German towns. not really for us. in addition to €11, you pay €0.50 per kW for electricity and €1 for 80 liters of water. many campsites are better.

we were in a traffic jam for 2 hours in front of the Elbe ferry. wonderfully quiet place that is flooded during storms and very high tide. on the grass next to the path you can also stand nicely when the place is full. Nice! sympathetic place and beautiful old ships as a bonus!
