it says that the campsite would be open but all I found were closed fences and no one to come and look. I got the answering machine by phone. a bit frustrating after 15 minutes in the middle of nowhere and a whole day of travelling.

super nice as a transit camper place. set up and sleep. especially when you have tried another one that was paid and supposed to be open but only encounter closed gates. wonderfully quiet too

A very nice place; wonderfully good camper spots where you can also "camp" and the service-oriented owners make an effort to create a nice atmosphere with the campers. All facilities are available, but there is no hot water from the tap for washing dishes or laundry. The area has fantastic cycling and walking opportunities and an authentic Portuguese terrace 2 km away. There is also a terrace 1 km away with delicious cake.

wonderful stay if you like peace and quiet. all amenities available, just no WiFi. Campsite just taken over by new Dutch owners who are very helpful. good cycling area where you will find old farms. a village close by but 20 km away, a beautiful larger town of Confolens on a wide river
