Lovely quiet place with an excellent breakfast cafe on site. It's situated in a perfect setting for cycling and exploring rural life of Leicestershire, good pubs and cafes within a few minutes ride, we will certainly come back again.

I can't believe this site is free, but it is. WiFi and toilets are provided, shower costs €2 and electric is €5 per night. there are plenty of pitches and despite being situated on a very quiet road, it is nicely quiet. the town is just a short walk away and even closer by bike 🚲 I can't believe sooner folk are so miserable as to give this place a 1 start review, honestly it is excellent for a one night or short stay, just patronise the garage.

Wonderful site. Friendly staff, clean facilities and situated by a beautiful lake with excellent treks around the lake and further into the woods of the hills. A perfect place for cycling as the roads are empty and so quiet with amazing views over the picturesque mountains.

Beautiful site, quiet, clean and situated in beautiful wooded hills with plenty of walking routes and quiet roads to cycle on and explore the surrounding area. The pitches are mostly shaded, which is a bonus in a heatwave like the one we're experiencing. the onsite restaurant is superb, you have to book however you can do so late in the day. The swimming pool is clean and opens earlier than most in the season.
