A great spot in summer weather, but keep in mind: the trees provide nice shade, but at the same time block satellite TV.

The entire square is currently closed! A large grandstand has been erected for some kind of festivities. I don't know how long the closure will last, though.

Although several plots are vacant, the payment terminal says "no space available." The dump station is in a dilapidated, dirty condition. Emptying the toilet cassette requires considerable effort. Fresh water was unavailable, and the faucet has no lever.
Sitecode: 86544
Theoretically, you can fill up with water here. But in reality, it's not possible. You can empty your grey and black water tanks, but you can't flush the cassette. There's no Wi-Fi either. Access is extremely complicated. You pay, get a QR code, but you have to enter the numbers manually into the terminal. So, what's the point of the QR code? I only recommend this place with reservations, hence the 3 stars.

Caution! A sign 1 meter before the entrance reads: Max. 3.5 tons. We weigh 4.5 tons and are 7.3 meters long, and were very rudely turned away. In order not to reverse up the steep driveway without a camera, I had to turn around in a very tight space, while being insulted by the owner. My front wheels spun, and nothing worked. Still no help, but the claim on CamperContact and P4Night states the 3.5-ton limit is stated. This is not true!

Five stars are far too few. My wife broke her ankle on a hike. Virginia immediately drove us to the doctor in Beas and stayed with us the entire time to support us. Her kind husband accompanied us on the subsequent trip to the hospital in Huelva. He also supported us for hours with advice and assistance, including translating into German. We've never had such fantastic support.

The campsite isn't beautiful, but it's actually quiet at night. Unfortunately, the drinking water is heavily chlorinated, and there's no hose connection. If you like magnificent old buildings, the city center (a 2-kilometer walk, straight ahead) has a lot to offer. The highlight, in my opinion, is the Passage de Lodares; definitely worth a look!

Okay, it feels like parking in a shopping center parking lot, but that's probably normal in this region. It costs β¬14.00 per day without electricity if you book for three days. The spot is almost completely booked. Reception was friendly, uncomplicated, and spoke English.

As of February 27, 2025: V&E currently not possible. See photo

Actually a great parking spot. The only thing that's annoying is the pump or compressor from the metal workshop next door! It runs 24/7, even on holidays. Don't park on the plot above the drain, it stinks a lot throughout the day. Even with the windows and roof hatches closed, it's clearly noticeable inside your vehicle.

A really nice place with a view of the lagoon. BUT the sand is very deep at the moment. The risk of getting stuck is high. That's why we're parked in the parking lot next door.

The town of Alcacer has nothing special to offer apart from the promenade on the Sado. The small campsite is quiet, dark and cheap. We didn't use plumbing, the dump station is spacious and the fresh water pressure is high. If, like us, you get stuck in the sand with your camping car, the staff will help you in an unconventional way and with Portuguese helpfulness. I definitely recommend the CP.

Yes, Pedro is actually very likeable. But β¬15 without electricity and without using a shower or toilet is far too expensive. We found the V+E station to be the worst. Far too narrow for us, we are only 7.30 m long, and we couldn't reach the drain for the gray water with our camper. It doesn't get any worse. We really liked the pitch itself, a bit of wilderness, animals between the vehicles, very quiet and dark.

The entire square is currently closed and the payment machine is out of service.

Actually a good SP, but there is no water (again!)! Apparently someone is incompetent here and/or we are being scared away here. Very unsatisfactory.
Sitecode: 7834
I've been coming here on and off for the last 2 years. The SP is not an SP but now a building material dump for the community. Too bad because at least the nearby park is worth a visit. Some mobile homes have been here for months although the maximum stay is limited to 2 or 3 days. Recognizable by the unmown lawn. Not recommended.

The place is really very nice - if you come in. We waited 3 hours for the manager to no avail! From 11:45 am to 2:45 pm on a Tuesday. At the reception there is no information about lunch breaks or the like. Just a phone number, but only an answering machine answers. After 3 hours of waiting and 2 unsuccessful calls, a city employee happened to come by. He kindly gave us his code.

Danger! Only for campers <3.5 tons. Very suitable for small vehicles, great lawn area without markings, with or without shade.
Sitecode: 84498
We drive a 4.5 ton motorhome, 7.30 m long, 180 hp and had huge problems driving the extremely bumpy driveway! It only worked on the 4th attempt and with the start. Down to the reservoir is no problem, but the way back is! Also a lot of flies. I strongly advise against unless you drive a 4X4 motorhome.

A cool day and we would have liked a sunny pitch. But there is only 1 sunny plot on the entire site! And that was occupied. All other very small plots are in the forest and are very difficult for us to reach with a length of 7.5 meters. The views from the campsite are invariably ugly. Despite the very friendly welcome, we didn't feel comfortable at all and drove on.

Fine almost empty SP. Toilets and WC clean and correct. Many wonderful partially shaded plots. Only the Autobahn can be clearly heard in the westerly wind. But that shouldn't be a problem at night. In the city, I recommend visiting the Parque Episcobal. Admission β¬1.50 for seniors <65, many wonderful photo opportunities.

A huge SP with 370 plots. But very few are suitable for our vehicle (>7.30 long and 3.40 high). We were from 09.-11.04. There and it was completely empty despite Semana Santa. Cost per day: vehicle = β¬5, two adults = β¬7, electricity = β¬3
Sitecode: 76455
The previous descriptions are correct. A noisy railway line with relatively noisy diesel locomotives runs right by the parking space. The volume is not irrelevant!

Sitecode: 30084
The price vs performance ratio is reasonable. We didn't use the toilets or showers. WiFi good and fast. Very well located for the old town, which is well worth seeing. LIDL nearby. If something is now done against the eternally cooing pigeons, there's another star.
Sitecode: 15876
The parking space looks very improvised and untidy to me. The price without electricity is already β¬15.00 - I think it's too expensive for the offer.

Visited on 03.03. still closed

This place is closed, see photo. It is unclear whether it will ever open again.

Still a really good pitch with a first class V+E under spacious paved plots. Little traffic noise during the day, completely quiet and dark in the evening and at night. Bakers and supermarkets within walking distance. Really good value for money at β¬6 per day.
Sitecode: 85957
Currently noisy construction work right next to the parking space. Therefore not recommended during the day. In the evening and at night it will probably be quiet - hopefully.

Sitecode: 50654
Better go to Mas y Mas next door! There is V + E always completely free! Very clean facility with separate taps for toilet and drinking water. and
Sitecode: 94610
The parking space is quite noisy during the day because it is located directly on a small through road. But absolutely quiet at night. Beautiful views of the river, mountains and city. In the immediate vicinity is an island with a groomed jogging track. Many canoeists are out and about in the water. You should visit the city, lots of shops, apparently the weekly market on Wednesdays, very nice and very well-kept.

Because of the bad weather we stayed in this place for 5 nights in early March. Despite the heavy rain, the place was dry again a short time later, no mud! Electricity is expensive at β¬5 for 24 hours, but everything else is free. There is a good bakery and a well-stocked supermarket in the village. We didn't need more to sit out the rain
Sitecode: 56636
This parking space is also now heavily frequented at the end of March. You don't need to arrive after 12:00 p.m. Very quiet place on the edge of the village, nice landscape that reminds me of the AllgΓ€u, often country air and resting cows. Bakery and small supermarket within walking distance. Very friendly reception by the boss, many tips from her, decent V+E, good water pressure, I didn't test the shower. Parking space is highly recommended.

03/27/2022 - The current situation: It's Saturday, the weather is good and the parking space is not only completely full, but there are also 14 mobile homes on the parking space. There are also 17 other mobile homes parked (although expressly forbidden) on the access road. This will probably not go well for much longer and the gentlemen with the parking claw will come by again. The city of Santander urgently needs to increase the number of parking spaces!

Although the site is on the Charles de Faules street, which is busy during the day, it was fairly quiet in the evenings and at night. But of course it's not a nice place in green surroundings.
Sitecode: 9912
Location is great, quiet at night in February. We arrived around noon when 11 of the 12 seats were occupied. Very many with long-term parkers without a parking ticket. Also quite a lot of rubbish on the square, hardly any sun because of the low position of the square. V+E worked for free. Tram drives relatively quietly right past the square, but didn't bother us. Ticket price β¬7.00 for 24 hours. An ideal parking space for a visit to the city.

February 2022 Because of a defective turbocharger we have to stay here for 2 weeks in winter. β¬20.30 incl. electr Showers and toilets are open, the office only for about 2 hours in the morning. Apart from us only 3 other mobile homes, otherwise empty. bread service. The trails in the park and around the lake (75 minute loop) are now extremely muddy. As beautiful as the circular route is, it's no fun now and the shoes look really dirty afterwards.
